McAvoy Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 That is a good question. Out of you guys he was a regular. Now he hasn't been around for awhile.
Sully Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 That is a good question. Out of you guys he was a regular. Now he hasn't been around for awhile. We all have our stages of inactivity and activity this is simply one of James... hibernation times He's around somewhere and hopefully will get back to his old posting self when he feels like it. On the fic side of things, we're now at 28,600 words approx. Things are still gearing up for the final big fight of the story.
Zoaknight Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Hibernation time eh? Quick! Look for him on Silha Island! He may be on a time share with Arcanfel
Sully Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 Above the 30K word mark for the last 2 days. But have spent the last 2 days revising what has being wrote and correcting things that just don't seem right. Also my new laptop finally arrived after some strange delay and I'm now using Word 2007 instead of 2000. This is working much better and is correcting my usual grammer mistakes (got to say for fic writing the new one is much better for pointing out grammer errors). Though I'd to teach it's custom dic all the names from the Guyver story and fan-fic... that took ages but thankfully I'd a large story of fiction that I could use to add as I needed. I've a local copy of the site on the laptop new laptop so tonight I hope to get back to adding to the story rather than reviewing it and editing it. The last battle in the story has started though and am into the first phase of it. All in all, while yeah this is taking ages, thise does feel like my most complete part of a fic ever, I've given a lot of characters a lot more time in the story than I normally do and hopefully that will mean it will be received well by you guys. There will be some surprises too and a lot of new plots opened up by 7 Days 7.
Spartan Warlord Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 i cant speak for everyone else but id be happyly recieve anything you posted...its part of my daily routine to jump on the site and see whats new...and i never get bored re-reading the fics!!!!!
Armageddon Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Same here. I come by at least daily to see if there are any new goodies posted. Sometimes more then once. After all the work that was put into this and all the waiting for this part, I can gurantee it'll be well received on my end. I'll probably re-read this part several times to make sure I've soaked everything in. Hell, just before you post the new part, I might go back and re-read the whole fic just to refresh myself. My favorite parts of the fic so far are the ones with W'Kar in them. He kicks so much ass and has humor to go with it. Good to hear about the new computer getting in finally. And using the new Word. I'm still using 2002. So I'd guess going from 2000 to 2007 is a major step up
Sully Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 Unforutnatly this weeks progress will suck, I'm in a different office this week for work and driving to the office, not taking the train. So getting any decent time to work on the fic is a no this week On a good note it will give me a break from it and time to think about who and what I really want to happen in the last battle of the story. There will be some interesting surprises planned, and as I sit around copying loads of data from one PC to another there's not much else to do other than plot the story.... :
Zoaknight Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 No prob, good luck at work this week, we can wait for the awesomeness to come
Sully Posted May 24, 2010 Author Posted May 24, 2010 No prob, good luck at work this week, we can wait for the awesomeness to come Thanks for that. Today I re-read the new part of the fic and added some more. Will be reading up data files on Angel and a few others to make sure the fight is interesting and more importantly, works well and that I don't screw up, more so with characters I didn't design.
Juggernought Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Just out of curiosity will there be any more given on Sedah's and Angel's units? Like why they were created, what's the ultimate goal for their kind of unit etc etc?

No prob! I look forward to seeing what manner of epic battles shall take place (hopes to see more of Alkanfel, Tonnin, Zeugma, & Zarfel :mura: ) just out of curiosity will there be any more given on Sedah's and Angel's units? Like why they were created, what's the ultimate goal for their kind of unit etc etc Aren't Sedah's and Angel's guyver units supposed to be test units/prototypes for new experimental Kavzar designs? I mean, obviously they are guyvers so they can't be controlled like a kavzar, but they are still subject to the extinction device the creators put in all test units so I figure their ultimate purpose is to see how such designs fare in battle against other powerful units and Zoaforms so that later the creators can make the same modications/additions to their kavzar warriors...Earth really is just one big fat testing ground for the Creators these days isn't it? Anywho, thats just my best guess based on what we've read so far, so I could be wrong later down the road.
Juggernought Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I don't think those 2 have the extinction device because they are being developed by different research group. True they are test subjects, but i was just wondering about what are they looking to accomplish by testing these prototypes? Is it the process of using alternate energy to boost power, is it the change in the host themselves to try and boost power? Are they trying to find an answer in power to the Warrior Kavzar from another world that were briefly encountered?
Sully Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 "No comment " Battles are moving on, word count is getting closer to 31000 words. Though I'm still rereading stuff and re-editing stuff as I feel the need. Good chance that ocne I feel it's complete enough for editing by James given that he's being very busy and not that active lately that it will be posted on a priview state first, and then the final edit will be when the WG-Fic site's redone. Edit for 27/05/10 Now that I got my hands on the old data files for GWOTG and I know what ..... ummm not going to say who or whom but basically lets just say it helpded a lot. Back to writing again and over the 31,000 word mark and getting to the near mid stages of the final battle with a key moement about to happen. There will be some surprises alright. Some of them oldies that I found on the old messageboard in the plot section :
xtro guyver Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 sounds good Brian can't wait to read it when its done
Sully Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 Finally getting close to the end of the battles in this story. I've got one more complex enough part to do... complex more because it is something that has happened beofre in the story and in other parts of 7 days... and well trying to make it instesting for the 3rd time and also seem realistic is well it's not easy (talking about the good guys and bad guys fighting for the last Unit Chamber). At the moment I'm thinking of some sort of different event that will somehow cause the least guarded secret of the last part of 7 days... basically that there will be a Warrior Guyver Thancrus (not hard to find out consider there has being pictures posted of him around before). Problem is Chronos getting that unit and not the other 2... and also making it interesting and adding in a surprise.... I think I have it, just need something extra and I think I have it now. Sooo tonight will be an intersting trip home on the train. IF all goes to plan, this coming long weekend or the weekend after we'll have a privew up of the story (though note this is the non-James edit as he seems to be missing at the mo). The proper edited with extra added combat offical version that will hopefully be edited by a returned Zeo1234 will be posted with the rewirtes and updated site. Can't give an estiamte on that, all depends on how the rewrites go. At the moment I know Time War for example will basically get a whole new part of the story added to it making it a 3 parter (this has already started though is only a 500 words long, but it's started the way I want it too which is important). Union will has well be longer, getting a whole new opening part of the story that focuses on Guyver US. :
Zoaknight Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Sounds awesome! Its about time Chronos got itself more Guyvers under its control, gotta be able to compete with all those suped up guyvers belonging to all those resistance forces
Sully Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 Figured it out, all I need to do now is finish writing that part of the story and then the rather big epilog that will give the closing view of those involved with 7 Days.... Once that is done, I'll be editing some of the story (as James is not around to proof read need to make sure I've not wrote something wrong on the level of that cook book who's editor missed out "And add black people...." when they really meant "and add black pepper"!), tidying up bits and adding the remander to a fight I skipped and some battles with the Grakken that need some detail. Overall the story is getting very close to being finished.
Zoaknight Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Glad to hear you're making such progress Sully! Good luck with the editing and what not once its all ready
Juggernought Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 You can almost imagine the scene when they all fighting to gain control of the last unit chamber and then there is this big explosion and as the dust and debris start to fade away they hear footsteps coming their way, and a dark outline of a being walking towards them, then the WG Thancrus' control medal shines, he crosses his blades in front of him, chuckles evilly and then attacks! By the way, will there be a part in the story that tells us why Chronos picked this zoanoid specifically?
Sully Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 By the way, will there be a part in the story that tells us why Chronos picked this zoanoid specifically? Who said they "picked" him?
Juggernought Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Not selected? Really, so then he's similar to guyver powered zerbubuth..powerful, a guyver yet loyal.
Sully Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 Lets put it this was, the only two hosts ever picked by Chronos to be hosts, are the Shadow Guyver, who is a purpose built host and Vamore who was scanned and checked before he entered the Unit chamber by himself to get the unit under Imakarums order. At the same time they also captured a Unit Remover just in case Vamore got foolish..... I'll not give anything away further but point is, there is many interesting possibilites with these characters. Vamore is a pretty safe bet, he REALLY dislikes Dreadnought. As for the others it all depends on the host. But if you look at Zygote Guyver, if they start acting funny it won't be long before Chronos kills them, or in the WG's case remove the units off them and kill the host old school Alkanphel style.
Juggernought Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I wouldn't be surprised if Alkanphel uses the unit remover to hunt down Warrior Guyver 5, since he does have a grudge against the mercs..
