W'Kar Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Go check it out guys, the story is titled '...and into the light...' Enjoy! Quote
gall_4185 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Reminds me why Greg's my favourite character around these parts Quote
Armageddon Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Very impressive, Allen! Metallica is one of my favorite bands and I loved the use of it in the story. Seems perfect for W'Kar. The banter between him and Jason was a hoot. The thing that gets me the most was W'Kar's use of the Matrix. It didn't look like it was working and then started to. The W'Kar element effecting it, right? Is it adapting to him now now that it was shown working? Quote
Juggernought Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 It's working properly but if you recall all matrix work best when in conjunction with Warrior Units. But it also responds to the stronger will of a particular being. Lar'cass had significant control over it, yet W'kars will power to take it from him and control it was much much greater. Same thing for this scenario, W'kar had to enforce his desire for it to do what he demanded of it. Plus i don't think it functions well around his w'kar element anyway as is shown with Dreadnought's matrix. By the way, i can't wait to see how he trains Jenny and when she's ready to unleash her Black Unit's power and reinforced with the rage she has contained already at being a guyver and at her brother. She will be extremely dangerous. Quote
Armageddon Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Yes, but as Zeo once said (I believe anyway) that a Matrix has ways of bonding with it's master and that once that happens, this particular Matrix will have found a way to work with W'Kar regardless of the W'Kar element, it just takes more effort and will on W'Kar's part as you've said. Will be interesting to see how it all goes. Quote
exscaped_pyscho Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I don't think the Matrix can adapt to the Wkar element. Not without finding another way of achieving it's gole without using it's quantum feild (that's what doesn't work around Wkar). If you can't produce a quantum field near a multi demensional substance, like the W'kar element, it's unlikly the Matrix will ever 'adapt' to W'kar. Quote
McAvoy Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 The W'Kare element is too powerful for the Matrix to be near it but fortunately for Greg, his unit's element is still weak enough for the Matrix to be used near him. It just takes far more effort. Quote

guyverfanatic Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Great story! I loved seeing the fight between W'Kar vs Warrior Guyver Vamore & Guyver Powered Zerabubuse! I can't wait to see what W'Kar is up to in the next story! Quote
McAvoy Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Imakarum stated that Guyver Powered Zerebubuse is more powerful than Dreadnought. Obviously they do not know about his Power Boost ability. W'Kar had his hands full fighting those guys. I wonder how Dreadnought handle it. It's obvious that Dreadnought can easily handle WGV on his own, but Guyver Powered Zerebubuse is actually as durable as he is. The big difference is that Dreadnought is far, far faster. It's good to see someone knows the good Metallica songs... no new school for me! Quote
xtro guyver Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Nother great story about everyones favourite nut case Really enjoyed wkars fight with GPZ and wg vamour So the standard test units are desinged to only give full power to normal human with zoaforms getting a reduced bio boost. I guessing the only thing at the moment that could fix the test unit on GPZ would be a matrix, but then I don't think Dreadnought or wkar are mad enough to do that Quote
McAvoy Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 It depends though on how you view it. Either they recieve the full 100x boost which isn't supported by the WG universe. Which means obviously Crane the host of Guyver Zoanoid would be far more powerufl than 2x, since obviously he isn't a 2 men zoanoid. On the other hand which is supported by the WG is that it all depends on the zoanoid's bio energy. Since zoanoids like Gregole has the strength of 15 men which is not something that requires large amounts of bio energy since it is muscle enhanacement, it wouldn't be a 15x Guyver. So Warrior Guyver Vamore however recieved a 200x enhancement or 50% of the potential of the unit because of the Vamore needs far more bio energy to fire it's bio lasers than for instance a Gregole. Frost Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Hmmm seems the Kregen are hell bent on having Dreadnought eliminated.. what they dont seem to realise is that as long as there are Matrixes dimension hopping is possible.. or maybe they want him specifically destroyed before he also undergoes some radical changes either way the fic was Excellent!
