W'Kar Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 “And from the womb a God will appear unlike any other. He will have the wings of a dragon burning with rage. And from his eyes a legacy will be born. He will paint the void with blood and avenge the weaker gods with his mighty vengeance. He feeds on the strong and murders the weak. In his hand lies the ground, in his breast lies the fire, in his head lies the water and in his groin lies the air. He has power over all. And from his lips a sound of death shall become known. It will quake the heavens and slaughter our race a thousand fold. Each scream more powerful than the last. Twelve swords poke from his body and pierce the very fabric of space itself. This God is the end of our reign.” That was the first part of the legend that was once spoke by Zaphod, one considered the mental pinnacle of his race. Grend knew many of his generation considered such a thing ridiculous, drummed up superstition. But lately, Grend was not so certain. Anubis. The name of some ancient human death god, or was it embalming, Grend did not know. Humans lived such short lives their beliefs changed too often, what seemed only days to Grend would pass to them as centuries. He stood in front of the war relics control system, contacting it with his unit. Many have paid for his decisions. Of his race, now only this fleet and two planets remain occupied. After the destruction of the creators home planet, the race scattered across the galaxy. What Grend did not expect, was that was exactly what Anubis wanted. Grend knew his race was many things, but incredible tacticians was not one of them. Anubis broke the only sure defense they had, complete unity. By exposing himself and attacking the capital, wreaking havoc across the race, and making sure his presence stayed secret until Grend himself was put on trial. The act of attacking at that moment, it destroyed something more precious than their homeworld, it destroyed their trust. Civil war while warring on two other fronts. Grend thought it ridiculous, if only they had listened to him they could have won. It was he who eliminated Deus. It was he who broke the lines of the order at Vijidan-14. And soon, it would be he who defeated the dreaded ‘Red Dragon’. Grend let go of his connection and looked around his ship. The new W’Kar reproduction was operational. It took longer than expected to merge, almost four years for completion. In order to allow the unit time to compensate, and further testing, Amira and Venez convinced him to wait out bonding with it by another 3 years. Soon it would be ready though. Soon the vision Dibblis, he and the others had imagined so long ago would be realized. The bonding process took some unexpected twists once completed. The unit itself had modified itself it seemed. Certain new modern technologies such as the Mark II technology had been rejected by the element. The Bio-Doubler system had failed to activate upon testing. Even the dual-mind structure he developed with the Reproduction 6 had been completely erased from the unit. Not a trace of that even existed anymore. This unit was no longer classified as W’Kar Reproduction 7, but had been reclassified as Unit-W Model-2, the second developed True W’Kar unit. Quote
xtro guyver Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Cool, I wonder what choas Grend will cause with his new unit Quote
Armageddon Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Yay, Allen! You are on a roll! Let's see what this wacky Creator can do against Anubis now that he has a unit comparable to the demon himself. Quote
Kamui de' Tempest Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 ohmanohmanohmanohman. A SECOND True W'Kar. Oh man, things are about to get hectic. Will the mistakes from the first be repeated in this new model. Are we trading the devil we don't know for the evil we do? I mean, the psyche is a very sensitive thing and combined with this very powerful unit. Could spell disaster. Even if a Creator gets the Unit, it could still be bad. But me thinks it'll be good ol' Sho who gets it. I hope so at least. I'm not sure that they ever specified how he died and from what I just read it appears that Grend finished him off. Being a Creator and all it would stand to reason with the right resources that he could save a seperated host body from death...or taken the mindwiped body, tinkered with it to be the perfect soldier then gave it the Unit W M2? who nows? I know I'll be there when we find out. Quote
Juggernought Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 It would seem, in that 3 year wait that Grend was advised to take there could be a lot of possibilites...one: the unit gets stolen and activated on a human host..two: a creator actually gets to merge with the unit without the resultant breakdown as with the model 1 w'kar unit. Still tho...a unit with the potential power to surpass anubis?? this is gonna be gudd. Quote
guyverfanatic Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Succès D'estime part II i would presume. Ok. I still need to read Succès D'estime myself. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Even with the W'Kar element there's no way Grend would be on par with Anubis....just like the orginal Unit-G it only served the creators to give them a physical body where as on a human it increased their strength by a 100 fold...I don't doubt the fact Grend would be a lean mean killing machine but compared with Anubis he's a fluffy lil rabbit. Ultimate W'kar Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 At last, I wonder how powerful he will be?!!!?hummmm. Quote
Juggernought Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Some how I don't think Grend will get to activate the unit....either Anubis is going to capture it or it will fall into the hands of a human we least expect. Quote
W'Kar Posted May 15, 2007 Author Posted May 15, 2007 Sometimes it is not the power, but the capability, which makes an individual dangerous. And yes, it will be titled Succès D'estime part II. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 I don't know who's gonna get it but I'd like whoever does get it to kill Anubis and restore Zagam to Dready!!! Quote
Juggernought Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Now where would be the fun in that...far as I see it, Zagams transformation is permanent. No turning back. As for killing Anubis, you gotta realize he still has yet to evolve to his 5th stage of evolution. Any being in possession of the W'Kar type 2 model won't know the full extent of his or her powers. Quote
W'Kar Posted May 15, 2007 Author Posted May 15, 2007 Any being who activates that unit will be a complete W'Kar. No need for evolution as it will be a fully healed version. Quote
Juggernought Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 So then that unit will tell its host all its powers and abilities, thus making that person a complete warrior? Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Hmm, so whoever gets the unit should be more or less equal to Anubis...except for the fact they wouldn't be used to the Unit...so if Anubis is smart he'd just kill whoever gets it and destory the unit. Quote
W'Kar Posted May 15, 2007 Author Posted May 15, 2007 So then that unit will tell its host all its powers and abilities, thus making that person a complete warrior? Maybe. Hmm, so whoever gets the unit should be more or less equal to Anubis...except for the fact they wouldn't be used to the Unit...so if Anubis is smart he'd just kill whoever gets it and destory the unit. Depends on the host. A creator won't be as powerful but Grend made the unit. He made the unit, so he would know how to work it better than anyone. Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 If Grend was smart he'd just brainwash some human or...build a safety device into the Unit that stops it from attacking him...I think Dibblis did this with the Pirate Guyver and a few others?... Quote
Ultimate W'kar Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Now where would be the fun in that...far as I see it, Zagams transformation is permanent. No turning back. As for killing Anubis, you gotta realize he still has yet to evolve to his 5th stage of evolution. Any being in possession of the W'Kar type 2 model won't know the full extent of his or her powers. He doesn't need to transform him back, just restore Jason's mind. Quote
