Games Discussion

Talk about all your favorite types of games. From PC, Consoles, Board Games, Table top games, any kind of game.

  1. I don't know how this started, but it is glorious to see two fandoms coming together and making two beloved characters best friends! I love it, and it's something the internet needed without knowing it needed this.

The Suffering is an awesome 3rd/1st person shooter in the survival horror genre. It's a blast and a bit creepy with the hallucinations and stuff. Those of you who have played? What do you think of it?

  3. Started by guyverfanatic,

Almost beaten the second game. (has 16 levels as compared to 20 with the first). Very fun game and I am quite surprised to find out who Blackmore really is.

  4. Started by guyverfanatic,

I bought this game yesterday and I have to say this is one kick ass game. Quite a good GTA rip-off. I like the hand-to-hand combat (& finishing moves) plus the precision shooting is awesome too. (Currently on alternate eps. IV: Mission 3 Cruisin for Lola) What are your thoughts?

  5. Started by PrimalNemesis,

What video games are you currently playing at the moment? What are some of your personal favorites over the years?

  6. Started by guyverfanatic,

I just bought this game today it's pretty cool. Good side scrolling fighter. Reminds me very much of a comic book. If you haven't checked it out already, play it.

  7. Guyver game. If anyone cares or can recall a member called Brolly wanted to create a Guyver game with some kind of RPG engine. I was interested in writing so we hooked up and I started writing. Since it's been two years I'd say it's okay to show anyone that's interested the stuff I got done. Anyone want to see the script for chapter pictures I made? And I wouldn't be surprised if this gets moved to the game section.

  8. How do you normally play a video game? Easy, Normal or Hard? I start out by playing Normal most of the time. But if the game proves to be too hard for me starting out I start at Easy mode and go from there. I see Easy more or less as a practice mode to show you the ropes. Than as I get better and know how things work and how the enemy NPC's work. Than I can better anticipate things and play better, than I move up in difficulty as I improve.

So. I thought it'd be cool to start a thread on a video game we were currently working on. Please share what you're playing. I'm almost done with Assassin's Creed. That's what I've been playing for a week now.

This year has been interesting so far for games: so far I've gotten Halo Wars 2, and pre-ordered Mass Effect: Andromeda and Prey both, with plans to get Injustice 2. Then there's Destiny 2, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Vampyr as well. Those are just the games I know about (I'm on Xbox One, so I don't keep up with the PlayStation side of the fence). So, what games are the rest of you looking forward to seeing?

What do you think is a video game that was really good, but didn't received enough praise and was looked over by the majority of gamers? I've always thought [Prototype] was a good game. It just didn't get the due praise it deserved. I've been hoping for a [Prototype] 3....but it's probably not going to happen after Activision abandoned the series.

  12. As stated in the topic of title, what 'old' video games do you still play? I still play a lot of games on my PS3 while I have a PS4. I still play games like Skyrim, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Mortal Kombat 9 included.

Alright I've been wondering, since there are so many american Dragonball Z games out now which one do you think is the best out of them all? (note that this is going to be based on the PS2 releases)

I just got this game friday. The game is called Legend of heroes and it is a sweet game. Well there are a few problems for me there are no voice actors for the characters, and few cutsceen's, But it is extreamly gorgeous with rich graphics, an immersing story, and lots of character interaction. I really reccomend this game. Legend of heroes gets the Weltall2 Stamp of approval.

Messed up the Title, Should be Favourite Video-game Boss, owell. For me it would be the Tyrant King, Tyrannosaurus Rex! Appearing in multiple video games over the years, I've fought this boss more then any other. It's gotten to the point that every-time this beast turns up the street fighter IV phrase "Now! Fight Your Rival!" pops into my head. The T. Rex is the living embodiment of what a video game boss should be, big, bad, strong as hell and perpetually pissed off. It is the antithesis of humanity, to fight one is a clash of it's raw power and savagery against your human skill and intellect. Best of all because the beast is not limited to one game or …

Do you remember the days of yore when gaming was magical? the days of the snes i mean. you'd buy a new game and you'd put it on and go over all misty eyed as the wonderful characters, simple but beutiful 2d animation, and heavenly music carried you away...
