Just picked up my new gaming PC... I have joined the "PC Master Race"... but will still most likely pick up games for the XBox One and PS4... because reasons. Core i7-4790K @4.00GHz Geforce GTX 970 16 GB DDR3 250GB SSD 3 TB HD

I found an old Sega Genesis at a local game shop that specializes in repairing/selling old retro games and consoles. With it I got Aladdin and the Lion King, and OH MY GOD I'm reliving my childhood through these two games! They're both platform games geared to kids in elementary school, but are still fun to play to this day if you can get your hands on a working Genesis. Not only that, but I've also made a Twitch account (RiverChaos, if anyone's wondering) and was thinking about streaming either of these games or both on there.

Messed up the Title, Should be Favourite Video-game Boss, owell. For me it would be the Tyrant King, Tyrannosaurus Rex! Appearing in multiple video games over the years, I've fought this boss more then any other. It's gotten to the point that every-time this beast turns up the street fighter IV phrase "Now! Fight Your Rival!" pops into my head. The T. Rex is the living embodiment of what a video game boss should be, big, bad, strong as hell and perpetually pissed off. It is the antithesis of humanity, to fight one is a clash of it's raw power and savagery against your human skill and intellect. Best of all because the beast is not limited to one game or …

So. I thought it'd be cool to start a thread on a video game we were currently working on. Please share what you're playing. I'm almost done with Assassin's Creed. That's what I've been playing for a week now.

Has any of you gotten your hands on a PlayStation 5 yet? If yes, what are you playing on it?

How do you normally play a video game? Easy, Normal or Hard? I start out by playing Normal most of the time. But if the game proves to be too hard for me starting out I start at Easy mode and go from there. I see Easy more or less as a practice mode to show you the ropes. Than as I get better and know how things work and how the enemy NPC's work. Than I can better anticipate things and play better, than I move up in difficulty as I improve.

Do you buy your games on disc or do you just download the games on your PS4, XBONE, or PC?

Are any of you going to be playing this when it comes out?

This year has been interesting so far for games: so far I've gotten Halo Wars 2, and pre-ordered Mass Effect: Andromeda and Prey both, with plans to get Injustice 2. Then there's Destiny 2, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Vampyr as well. Those are just the games I know about (I'm on Xbox One, so I don't keep up with the PlayStation side of the fence). So, what games are the rest of you looking forward to seeing?

I don't know how this started, but it is glorious to see two fandoms coming together and making two beloved characters best friends! I love it, and it's something the internet needed without knowing it needed this.

Soooo..... Anybody playing this game? They dubbed this as the spiritual successor to Castlevania SOTN. So far, it looks amazing. And yes, it does run on a potato PC. I only have an i3 but it still runs.

I had a really weird dream a while back related to an old game I played the crap out of as a kid. I was in a Legend of Zelda game, with N64 graphics, and I was fighting a corrupted Link, and I was using masks from Majora's Mask against him. On top of that, when wearing the transformation masks, I could equip the regular items (that normally can't be used while wearing those particular masks) into my yellow arrow slots and they'd act as a "power boosts" for the mask attacks. (Example: As a goron, I equipped the fire and ice arrows, and my goron punches became fire or ice punches.) It was odd and cool, but when I woke up at 3 in the damn morning my brain decided to…

So, Xbox Store has their Countdown sale going on -- I've already picked up Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for half-price, seeing as how I got into things there with Skyrim and tinkered some with ESO. But one of the big sales right now, up through the 28th, is the newly-released Final Fantasy XV. If anyone has it, could you share thoughts about it? I played 7, 8 and 9, but got bored about twenty minutes or so into 10 and haven't touched the series since. I've heard some good things, but I want to make sure whether to grab it while it's 25% off (the Digital Deluxe edition with everything is, anyway -- $63.74 instead of $84.99). What is your favorite first person shooter? Mine would be the Fallout games such as Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4. Although you can switch in and out from first person to third person.

Loved Advanced Warfare and Black OPS 3. Anyone else excited?

As stated in the topic of title, what 'old' video games do you still play? I still play a lot of games on my PS3 while I have a PS4. I still play games like Skyrim, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Mortal Kombat 9 included.

What do you think is a video game that was really good, but didn't received enough praise and was looked over by the majority of gamers? I've always thought [Prototype] was a good game. It just didn't get the due praise it deserved. I've been hoping for a [Prototype] 3....but it's probably not going to happen after Activision abandoned the series.
