I haven't posted anything in a while, and drawing as means of self-expression is good. Just a quick sketch, and touched up with Photoshop. It's a quick job, so it's not that good. I won't go into details, but Rinrin (new character, you'll see more of him later) is a good representation of how I feel right now. There are times when everything going on in your life, even if it's not that serious or too terribly depressing, can just sap out all emotion from you and make you feel pretty damn empty on the inside. I hate angst. I hate feeling sad. I'm only sharing this, not asking for sympathy.

Hey everyone, I finally have a picture that I am really impressed with! Well, lately I have been playing two games VERY frequently, and been visiting a certain website also very frequently. Maybe you all can help me. I've been a HUGE fan of Brian's Guyver pics for a long time. It's how I got started in the fan-fic. But I don't exactly know what programs to use to color my pictures. I've got some that are just regularly shaded, coal, waterpaints, etc. What I really want though is the type of quality that I see in a lot of those fan-fic pics. Backstory: One of my newer characters, Rin, from a pending-but-probably-never-will-be Guyver fanfiction I've been compiling for a while back. Rin is a Chronie, a child born with the power to formshift without ever undergoing the Process. However, most Chronies don't acheive full transformation; or at least they're not sure. OMG, it's done. One thing I've always loved doing is making my characters cosplay, and I put them in almost costume that can be thought of. Drawing them out, though... eh, that's another story. No, it's not a Guyver pic. Was gonna be, but I needed my original characters to stretch their legs. If you've been keeping up on Vixen, this is Vixen and Jarek (Jarek's just been introduced in the last chapter I posted). In the world of Eres, they don't have an exact Christmas holiday, per sae, but instead celebrate the Winter Solctise (similar to the Pegan religions). It's also called "The Festival of Lights", symbolizing that even in the darkest times, you can always find light, hence all the candles. Hey all, havent posted in a while and well..got bored i suppose. Anyways, since this is the fanart section i thought it would be the best place to ask an art question...though if it isn't my fullist apologies. So, as the subject says...Details. I suck at it. I'm decent when it comes to doing the basic body (save females ), but when it comes to detail my brain falls apart. I suppose it also has to do with the fact that i have a hard time creating from the mind. Does anyone have any ideas on what i can practice that would help me with such a predicament? Thanks

Has this been done before...? The idea for this guy popped into my head during Asian History one day (imagine that). It's no one in particular...just fulfilling my once-a-year original Guyver design. The armor design is based off the Samurai armor from Final Fantasy XI. Enjoy the picture, but please don't nit-pick at me with scientific questions, IE "Why isn't his sword a bio-sword" or "What's his strength capabilities?" You ain't getting an answer. Come up with your own statistics if you will, but don't bother me with them. Please.
