So, do you eat potato chips, or any of that unhealthy sort of foods? I myself enjoy the occasional potato chip, usually when I am enjoying a nice movie at home. Most of the time I eat the local variants which cost a lot less. Although I would prefer Lay's, they are a lot more expensive. And most of the time, I can finish one whole bag by myself. I've recently bought Lay's wavy roasted garlic and seasalt, and I really liked it. Too bad it's not available locally. I'll be sure to buy a lot more when I go back to the states. So what's your chips of choice? How much do you / can you consume in a single sitting?

Has anybody played this game yet? what are your thoughts on it story-wise? from what I have seen the game is terrible and the story screws up with the Aliens legacy and what bothers me is that it was approved to be cannon by Fox....ugh..did they even look at the games story before approving it? not to mention the freaking plot twist that they put in the story where in a certain part you save a survivor from the original Aliens movie and it is not who you would logically think it be, NO!! it just opens up too many questions, want to know who it is? it is here is a trailer of the game and an honest review from one of my favorite game reviewers out there. …

I moved away from my home town a few years ago, and wow, what is happening there now. You see, Lethrbidge Alberta is in the bible belt of Canada. So I heard all the doom and gloom predictions of the end of the world, and how we will need a safe haven. Even with global warming, the coastal places will be flooded, so one would think something so inland, shielded by mountains, and thousands of miles of open plains would be enough to protect people. Hell, when I was growing up, the grass was always yellow because it never rained, it was eternal drought. Well... things change. Earlier this month, a huge rain swept through Alberta, bringing down the mountain ice and…

Hey guys! I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I got a summer internship for a new American manga company that's just starting to work on their first story. They're called Rock Steady, and their story is also called Rock Steady. My job right now is to get the word out about the project and help build an audience for Rock Steady, and also help them find a manga artist that is willing to work for free (time will be compensated though). I have read part of the story thus far, and IMO I think it's got potential to be a good manga. I would like to get some feed back on this, too. The guys that started this would really appreciate knowing their proj…

saw this acouple of days ago, wasn't too bad, i liked it even from being an original fan from the 80's. although had doubts about the robot scene in it, reminded me too much of the chromed robot in thor. i'm sure they could of come up with something better. anyone else's thoughts on this and the movie? oh,yea, being a marvel movie, everyone knows to stay till the end of the credits? i found it very interesting and got me excited and thinking about the next movie.

Anyone here a Daft Punk fan? Their new album is available to stream on iTunes starting from today! http://www.itunes.com/daftpunk I'm a huge Daft Punk fan so I may be a little (read: very) biased but I'm finding it incredible. I'm on my second listen right now. Some of the tracks are so out there and un-Daft Punk (or at least unexpected from what we've come to know). The Giorgio Moroder and Paul Williams collaborative tracks are just amazing - I love lengthy tracks! The Paul Williams track, "Touch", is appropriately enough, very touching. And the album version of Get Lucky is so much more interesting than the single version, including a longer guitar solo from Nile …

With the way mobile technology advances and the way people switch phones like clothes, it got me thinking how many phones people have ever owned, and how long do they usually keep their phone before they change it. For me, I got my first phone way back in late 90's. I started using the Nokia 5110 for about a year or two. Since it was not my phone of choice, I switched to the Nokia 7110 when I received my first salary. Used it for around 5 years before it finally broke. My next phone is the Nokia 6260. Used it around 3 years or so before it died on me. Then I got the Nokia E66 which became my main phone until a few months ago. Used it for about 4 years. If you …

Hi guys, I've done a lot of work on a fictional starfleet style ship. I've got a few blank spaces I need to fill in. Does anyone have some ideas about things that a starship would need? Like an astrometrics lab? Radiation contamination purgers? I want everything on my ship to have a purpose, and not just be a random room or machine Your thoughts? Thanks

probably just saw the best movie all year and wasn't even at the cinema! just watched this on dvd, apparentely was released last year but only just saw it on the shelve at my local store. i love these japanese movies as most really know how to tell a great story with great history and this movie has a really great dramatic story(ladies, get the kleenex ready!) not a whole lot of action in this but was glued to the screen the whole way through(and no, it wasn't because i had to read the english subtitles because i'm a gaijin) to keep it short its set in 17th century japan and is about a lordless samurai who seeks to use a noble's court yard to honourably commit seppicu…

I was just thinking about this and I would like to talk about it. Piracy is a very common thing these days. that is copyright piracy. of course the history of copyright piracy is rooted in organisations trying to monopolise free information. in the past, the power was with the church and the monks who copied the writings from one book to another. with the advent of the printing press, the power could be taken away and disseminated. so copyright law was created. not to protect the little guy, but to protect large organisations. Things are changing of course. Now with the internet, it is becoming easy and cost free to copy information. If I create a copy of any piec…

Hi everyone. For those of you who might know me, I have admitted to being a World War II history fanatic to a degree. Hence, when an interesting one's on, I often will watch it. I have two favorites that I've always taken time to watch, and one's called High Hitler, and the other is Hitler's Bodyguard. In High Hitler, the story of how Adolf Hitler was probably turned into a meth addict by his personal doctor Theo Morell is told, as well as some rather unconventional medical treatments that Hitler put himself through to cure various ailments, such as his frequent stomach upsets and, as Dr. Morell put it, "constipation and colossal flatulence", which is what start…

hey guys, I'm interested in how you have your tea? do you have regular tea bags such as typhoo or pgtips or do you like a bit of the good stuff. do you like made in a cup or in a pot. loose tea or bags. how much milk, a spot or half a cup? sugar? one lump or two? do you like it as white as a scared child on halloween or as stewed as soggy dumplings? tell me!! and if you don't drink tea (how could you?!) then how do you make your good ol' mug of joe? me, personally, I am liking ceylon at the moment. I have got some loose ceylon and making it using a wonderful cup that was in fact a gift from our very own kenji. i've never been one for a pot, i just don't drink so…

How many of you know that there are people, families, children, trapped in a 7km wide piece of land, unable to go anywhere and being bombarded by weapons designed to maim and kill people indiscriminately? I went to a talk today. I like to think I know about things going on in the world... but there is much I do not know. I want to try and change the world a little today with information. These are not weapons designed to take out military targets. these are not weapons designed to take out infrastructure. these are weapons, designed specifically to kill people and maim those not in the direct vicinity. Men, women and children. There are children who go to…

Allow me to introduce the Advocacy to the amazing Japanese Folk Metal band Onmyo-Za! These guys have been around for a little while now and have produced some very unique music. Their image and primary lyrical content draws upon Japanese mythology. They are relatively unknown. Even inside their own native Japan. Onmyo-Za has been known to produce a few theme songs every now and then for games and the Basilisk anime series. Onmyo-Za is particularly fond of the the novel The Kouga Ninja Scrolls by Futaro Yamada. Here is a video to give you guys a taste of what this amazing band can do! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyF7tCzuSwo

Ok, this will be my first time starting a topic about a trip I'm going to, since usually I don't say a word where I'm going. Tomorrow, I'm going back to Indianapolis, US, for a business conference. I would like to ask about prepaid sim cards. Since our local network charge exorbitant amount for data roaming, I was thinking if I should just buy a prepaid sim while I'm in the US to save on data charges. I need my email and we'll be staying at a different hotal this time which I'm not sure if they have wifi access. I snooped around online and found the prepaid sim of T-mobile to be a viable option. But how much will this initially cost me? I saw that they charge $…

Out of curiosity, was Peter Jackson's version of Lord of the Rings an insult to the UK? Or was it just an enjoyable movie? What are your thoughts on this?

Ok so yeah. I'm upset. Disney announced that they are going to close lucasarts. And instead if developing games they will license it out. That in itself isn't so bad, but they are also canceling current protects like 1313 and battle front assault.
