I honestly don't have a huge idea of where I would go if something like 28 Days Later or Dawn of The Dead were to happen. I know I'd have to find safe ground and its not just the zombies I'd be worried about. It'd be someone killing me and taking my stuff. I don't own a gun anymore. I know if there were zombies, the military and the whole nation would be in chaos and be trying to contain it. In general; The sh*t would hit the fan! Its an interesting subject. I guess I'd head for Canada or find a Fallout shelter to go to. Stay away from the cities and wear a lot of padding that way some zombie couldn't get a bite off. I'd carry a Katana as my melee weapon to hack off a fe…

Weeeeell I was just surfing the web as always and was curious on the status of the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie and came upon with some cool and unexpected news so I decided to open a new thread to discuss this movie since as you guys know I'm a fan of spidey and will jump at the chance to discuss anything related to him so here it goes: Things known about this sequel: -All previous actors from the first movie will return to reprise their roles minus the guys who play the Lizard and Captain Stacy. -Peter Parker will find new clues about his past so it looks like they have not dropped the parents side story yet. -Harry Osborn will be featured in this movie…

Okay, seriously, what's with the random ads that keep popping up when I get on here? Is it Google doing this or what? I love this website, but it gets annoying when an ad comes up when I'm trying to read an interesting thread!

Here are some funny questions that I found on the internet. Do you have what it takes to answer them? 1.- Can you cry under water? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.- How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.- Why do you have to 'put your two cents in'... but it's only a 'penny for your thoughts'? Where's that extra penny going to? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.- Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothe…

This is a thread dedicated to share jokes. So when People need a laugh, they can always look at this thread. Anyway, let me begin by putting these here: An accountant gets home late one night and his wife says "Where in the hell have you been?" He replies, "I was out getting a tattoo". "A tattoo?" she frowned. "What kind of tattoo did you get?" "I got a hundred dollar bill on my privates", he said proudly. "What the hell were you thinking?" she said, shaking her head in disdain."Why on earth would an accountant get a hundred dollar bill tattooed on his privates?" "Well, one, I like to watch my money grow, two, once in awhile I like to play with my money, three, I…

i am a HUGE robotech fan. more so on the original macross saga anime and loved the amalgamation of the three parts which formed the english dubbed robotech series. so, for a long time i've been hoping for a live action adaptation of this series and i only just heard that warner bros. are planning one. aparently, toby maquire has acquired the rights and planning on producing a movie in connection with warner bros.(and maybe casting himself in the movie as the main character, which i'm not too hot on.) latest news i've heard is leonardo has agreed on a part in the movie! well, whoever the actors, i just hope they don't f@#k this up! i'd hate to see something i lo…

Seems people enjoy the question or to explore the situations of a "what if" paradox. What would happen if something happened to you that may or may not happen. What would you do in that situation or think you would do. Perhaps you're going through something in life, which is real for you but isn't happening to the other members and you would like input from the other members here on what they might do. Its always fun to entertain the idea of the "What If" and what would your friend do or a complete stranger would do that you only know off of a website. Ask them the question of What if this subject happened, what would they do? What would you do? Its helpful. Perhaps you're…

If you had 3 wishes what would they be? I was looking up what people would ask for if they had 3 wishes. Here were some of the answers I found. I did not include my 3. The first one is the best one. It really made me laugh. Person 1.) 1 - Kate Beckinsale walks into my shop tomorrow, falls madly in love with me and we live happily ever after. 2 - The people of the state of Colorado decide that I should own all of it and the federal government agrees. 3 - Aliens come down from the skies and vaporize all politicians, religious leaders and parking ticket cops. Person 2.) 1) The ability to predict all important future events, including lottery numbers. 2) The ability …

So what piece of literature has been catching your eyes as of late? Could be anything from a good ole novel to a nice manga series. For me lately I have been switching back and forth a lot. For novels I have been reading The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Dune, The Stand, and I have just finished Meditations on First Philosophy: in Which the Existence of God and the Distinction of the Soul from the Body are Demonstrated. For mangas I have been reading Guyver, Naruto, Attack on Titan, and Soul Eater. .

Hey guys! My university's nerd club is trying to come up with ideas for a movie event to host on our campus sometime in the semester. We've already got one idea for April and that'll be a tribute to the coming Godzilla movie, but with our current selection of movies we're at a brick wall so to speak. We're limited with who has the movie in question or with Netflix. Also, after the movie a discussion forum about said movie must be held in order for it to be a legitimate event. Anyone got any good movies they can suggest? We've done: All Miuzaki movies (Tortorro, Spirited Away, etc.) Summer Wars Wreck It Ralph The Muppets Movie Scott Pilgrim vs the World …

Here we can talk about ways to stay safe and maintain privacy online. If you want to keep prying eyes away, from like the NSA or whatever, you can use the TOR network. this will mask your IP address and make it look like you're using a different computer or network. very useful. Google also is looking into using encryption in their search. privacy is becoming more important these days for simply stopping people tracking you or just keeping your sense of freedom. There is a full program package for TOR that you can install on your computer or if you don't want to take it so far, you can use proxy servers in your internet settings. here is a useful website that …

anyone into cycling for commuting, proffessional or recreation? i've just decided to get back into recreational cycling whenever i have any spare time on the weekends. and instead of dusting the 10+years of dust and cobwebs off my mountain bike, decided to put together a road bike since none of the bike stores had my size.(thats life having a short inside leg!) anyway, mounting the rear derailleur, campagnolo give a torque spec of 15nm,(this is for thier 2piece cast alloy, hollow spring loaded bolt found on 2011+ derailleur.) which i found almost near impossible and at the very limit of this bolt.(previous bolts were one piece made from titanium or steel) (by the …

Does anyone think that Obama care can be fought off, or canceled some day if it does get approved? Its all over the news that politicians are saying that its hurting the nation. Business's can't afford it. Its under 10 million, its not meeting its quota.MY health insurance says that I need to switch to Obama Care. I refuse Obama Care because it is against my views and its no cheaper than the health care I am on. I really hope the people of the US try their hardest to fight it off, its a corrupted law. Its just totally against people's rights. I don't think its right to force health insurance on someone even if they don't afford it, they act like its supposed to be like Car…

So as May 16th, 2014 draws closer upon us, news regarding the new Ninja Turtles movie has been released. This time in the form of images of some statues that seemed to be on the filming location, as well as a picture of an armored Shredder, who seems to be in some sort of power armor similar to what was used in the movie "Elysium". I personally think the Turtles look awesome. Shredder... Maybe not so much, but does look menacing with that mask/face.
