How did you get into anime and what was the first anime you watched? When I got into anime, honestly the first anime I ever watched was Dragon Ball Z. I first watched it on Cartoon Network when I was 12 years old. I didn't really get into anime until I was 14. But I started out as a big DBZ fan and than watched the Guyver OVA a little later on.

So. It's obvious that after the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyim, there will be an extended wait on the next game. I have no idea why. It'd be nice if there was one coming out very soon for the PS4.

Soooo as some of you know, growing up as a child Godzilla was a hero of mine. I loved him, whereas I literally had night terrors of King Kong up until I was 14. I sometimes had dreams of Godzilla protecting me from him though. This was due to the old classic Godzilla vs King Kong. Well, now they're rebooting it, with the new Godzilla flicks. Looks to be VF-31 "Sigfried" vs Sv-26 "Draken III" with a group of idols this time. Though, apparently it was said that despite the VF-31's all being a different color and such, and the promo images have the idols with them, that the Idols are not piloting them.

I don't know what's wrong with me. I've been MIA with anything pertaining to anime for a long time. Almost since last Feb. I feel like anime just doesn't cut it anymore and I hate it. I want my passion back. I've tried various new/short animes but nothings been keeping my interest. I think I need a good fantasy adventure action anime. Something like Yu Yu Hakusho, InuYasha or Bleach. I don't know. I haven't been able to find anything. Any suggestions?

Ok this is a little something for any one piece fans on the site. So which Devil Fruit would you pick? For me it would have to be Wapol's Baku Baku/Munch Munch Fruit. While it doesn't seem that impressive in the series this is mainly due to its user being a moron. Its actually has a lot of potential. The primary power of the fruit is that it lets you eat anything. You also gain the ability cartoonishly expand your mouth. Then you can incorporate what you have eaten into your body to increase your physical attributes, size or give yourself new abilities. I think we can officially say that the Fourth Age of Monsters is well and truly here. Its a good time to be a Kaiju fan.

After seeing the new Gamera trailer I started thinking about kaiju and some of the less well known among them. Please note they may be some spoilers. The first is actually a Showa Era Toho movie Dogora the Space Monster (1964) Dogora first appeared in space, feeding on radiation. It destroyed a television satellite, causing it to mutate. It came to Earth seeking carbon to feed upon and began eating diamonds and other jewels. Dogora has only made one appearance outside this movie in an episode of the Godzilla Island tv series which is a shame because it is easily the most beautiful and eerie of the classic Toho monsters. I have a question for those who've been keeping tabs on Dragon Ball Super. What do you think of the whole universal tournament thing? Do you like the idea? Do you like the new fighters brought in by Champa? Have you been following the anime or manga version? Are transformations allowed in the tournament? I remember reading in the manga that they were not allowed. If this is the case why is Frost allowed to transform along with Goku? Is Super Saiyan Blue allowed?

It's been a while since I've watched anything I haven't seen before. This year I rewatched both Guyver series, Ghost In The Shell, Claymore, Elfen Lied, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Pokemon season 1/2 and all of Dragon Ball Z. Outlaw Star was one I watched that I had never seen before. I'm after something similar to Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop. Old, new... doesn't matter.

Ok so we have a realses date for Toho's upcoming' new Godzilla and our first look at this Godzilla's new design. It's realses date is very interesting to me because it was around that time of year that Manga UK released Godzilla vs Mothra: Battle for Earth all those years ago which was the first Godzilla movie I ever saw. Kind of reminds me of the first 3 Godzilla suits from Godzilla, Godzilla Raids again and King Kong vs Godzilla with that more elongated, more reptilian head. Also this Godzilla is going to be bigger the the 2004 one! Also that's a lot a teeth!

I think studios are jealous that something is coming out this week... A trailer for Star Trek Beyond has been released! I think it's interesting that the ship might not play a large part in this one. A bold move if true.

Do you ever actually use the term "Japanese animation"? No. Almost never. I use the term anime or cartoon. But thats about it. I get corrected by anime fans all of the time for it. I think its just their way of not wanting to admit that they do have an obsession with cartoons seeing as all cartoons are animated.
