Kang does serve as a bigger foe the Avengers ever had, but I find a time traveler difficult to fit into the franchise. But then again, they managed to merge technology with magic, so who knows. But since Hydra wasn't exactly explored in the Cap movie, maybe they'll make an appearance in the Avengers as the main adversary (aside from the obvious Loki). Maybe the Strategic Scientific Reserve is a precursor to the Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistic Directive. And maybe AIM was a branch that was derived from the remnants of Hydra. Who knows, the possibilities are endless. But I do know that there's going to be a LOT of easter eggs in the movie. I've also heard that they'll be making a sequel to Cap. (I certainly hope it's true) Perhaps this would explore his exploits with the current government and how he deals with it's contradiction to his patriotism. I'd really love to see Cap's dilemma in his moral upbringing as opposed to his sense of duty. How he perceives a gray area in his black and white perspective.

Would it be safe to say then, that the manga actually ruined the anime for you? Because prior to reading the manga, you have enjoyed the anime version of Naruto. Only when you started reading did you have severe nitpicks.

Ah, ok, let my clarify my statements. Indeed, Kung Fu is more or less a generic term. To be more precise, it's literal meaning is "Skills Mastery". I'm not certain what our art is called, but I seem to remember it being called "Kok Sut" or National Arts. I learned this from a volunteer class, and my friends family has a dojo where I also happen to practice. This art mainly deals with strengthening the limbs, and an avid practitioner would have his body look like popeye more or less. (you practice punching while holding a 40 lbs dumbell in each hand) Another aspect of our arts also deals with Dragon Dance. Which is why you need to have strong limbs. But holding the dragon head is already an advanced style.

Well... yes and no. It includes Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk, who were founding Avengers, but Captain America, the Black Widow and Hawkeye weren't, while the Wasp and Ant-Man were, but they're not in the movie. Too bad, I would have liked to see Giant-Man onscreen. It's so iconic. Those who have read the mini-series 'Marvels' (By Alex Ross) will understand what I mean. Well, if you want to be that nit picky, that's true also. As well as the other inconsistencies in the avengers movie as opposed to the original comic. And as my original point, it's unlikely that we would ever see Spiderman join the avengers cast in the near future, seeing that they still need to do one more movie before the rights revert from sony back to marvel (do correct me on this though).

Perhaps depress isn't the right word I'm looking for. But I did note a certain negativity on what they have done to the anime. That's just what usually happens when they try to milk a series. But for me, I felt frustrated and, like you, distaste on what is being done. The only different is that I acquired by distaste early on.

I've lost respect for the anime years ago. The only good manga to anime conversion is if the manga is already finished. I still wonder why you still watch the anime knowing that it will only depress you.

Wait, so Cap was the last roster (movie) for the Avengers? I always thought that they would deliver the original team which also consists of Ant-man and Wasp. I've even heard some rumors about an Ant-man movie. So they're switching Pym off to Barton?

No, it was actually the other way around. People detested him, yet he bears no malice among them. Now, Konoha see's Naruto as their hero and last hope. Chances of him becoming the Hokage has now increased significantly.

What I do find funny about the arc is the "World's Strongest Candy".

I don't think the "Z" means anything. Z was only applied to the anime to differentiate it from the kid goku and the adult goku. The manga, all throughout the entire run, was only called Dragon Ball. A little search from the Japanese wiki mentions that Toriyama himself named the series [Z] because he wanted Dragon Ball to end early by using the last letter of the alphabet", and later, in the pin up poster in Jump comics, [Z] was explained as the "ultimate" or "strongest". The "Z Warriors" was only used when a game was produced.

OMG!!! I loved it. No matter what you say about the movie, I definitely love it. You know the trailer where he covers the grenade? My heart actually skipped a beat when I saw it in the theaters. I was holding my breath and was actually about to cry! True Story. Few movies have ever moved me emotionally. I didn't even cry in Bambi. But that one single scene brought a tear to my eyes. Tommy Lee Jones, I find his humor to be very hilarious. I'm going to watch it again!

I know for sure that those majority of us who grew up with the 80's cartoon dislike that bayformers, while most of the kids nowadays (which outnumbers us by the way) definitely loved it.

You know what's cool about Naruto? It's not just the cool ninjutsu or techniques, or even the skills that they do. It's actually the interactive drama they each individual presents. Naruto and his parents. Sasuke and his brother. Now Gaara and his father. They all initially present their relationship as adverse, but only to find out later that their feelings go deeper than what is being actually shown.

I still prefer the drama involving the Transformers. The first transformers movie (the animated one in the 80's, mind you) left me in awe because of the emotions that they showed. I think this was the movie that defined Optimus Prime as an Icon. Coming out of the shuttle, slowly transforming and ramming a bunch of decepticons then flying in the air precisely shooting another set of decepticons. That scene itself was already a grand moment in the transformers universe. Tell me the match between Optimus and Megatron then wasn't epic!

Correction, before all that House of M mess, Spiderman was never a full fledge Avenger. He was only a reserved avenger and never officially joined the team. And based on the direction Marvel has on the avengers movie, which features the original 1963 roster of Avenger, Spiderman is definitely NOT part of it.

It would be best if you forget the movie you once saw. None of the earlier movies managed to do Justice to Captain America. Even the last movie back in 1990 that stared Matt Salinger, which I think was best among all the others, is still far from the Cap that I know. With regards to Cap's fighting style, he can be considered as one of the best hand to hand combat experts in the Marvel Universe, even matching that of Wolverine. It would be cool if Logan had a cameo in this, but it's highly doubtful seeing that Marvel still doesn't have the rights to the X-men movie.

I'm afraid not, since sony still holds the rights for the Spiderman franchise. I think it would be a few more years before the rights revert back to Marvel, where that is the only time that they can attach Spiderman to the marvel cinematic universe.

It most certainly will do. Even the trailer which shows Steve Rogers prior to his transformation, it already made me feel good. The scene with the trash bin lid and the thrown Grenade, its inspiring. Just watching the trailer already gives me goosebumps. I can't imagine how I will feel when I actually see the movie. I'll probably go screaming like a crazy fan girl. I'm even thinking of taking time off work just to see this on the first day! (Obviously I'm obsessed)

I don't have much experience with the whole Godzilla franchise but I did managed to see some of the classics which features Biolanate, Mecha Godzilla and Mothra. Comparing it to the US version, film quality wise, the US version has the upper hand in terms of cinematography. But I just can't help think that the American version of Godzilla was just a glorified dinosaur.
