Yentsui's portholes cannot go that far, surely he would have opened a porthole into Chronos Japan or another US branch to send Balcus to instead of leaving him in the middle of Monument valley. Also if you look at how Kahn teleported he simply faded and reappeared near Aptom when he turned him to stone. Alcanphel's was definitley long range coming from the otherside of the world and seemed a bit more energetic creating that strange wormhole opening. Surely if Kahn could travel as far as alchy his travel would look similar to alchy's at least. Seems to me the fading reappearing kind is relatively short range.

He would have originally had an ulterior motive for the navi-spheres as he went after them before Sho tore the gigantic off him so as far as he was concerned he was the gigantics master and didn't need a second one. He probably wanted the info out of them. Maybe he's making his own ark.

Gelpess was a shapeshifter and could take any human form. I'm doubting he was female. I agree with Zeo that as Balcus set up Cronos for Alcanphel he had say so on what was what and being a product of his time and probably utterly set in his ways didn't approve of women in positions of power. Same goes for many of the other Zoalords, maybe only Guyot and Imakarum might have a bit more of a liberal view coming from Modern day society. Cronos is a bit of a mens club without the billiards room and port & cigars. Actually thinking about it are we sure no women are zoanoids? After X-Day happened Cronos did its best to prove it was a friend to mankind and with modern society the way it is giving only males processing surely would alienate Cronos to a huge percentage of the populace. I'm sure there would be millions of women who would want to be zoanoids. I've just checked book 23 and when Kahn begins summoning the populace to be fused into his body there isn't one single female amongst them. I wonder how Cronos would have overcome this issue of one sidedness.

I guess that it is different for each and every person. I have to disagree with Ryuki there on the making People happy thing. That's probably true for many People but I don't make films to make others happy it's a bit more selfish to me for me it's I have these stories and visual ideas inside me and I have to get them out somehow or I'll pop. It's not just different for each person but for any kind of life. For an insect it's to survive at all costs there is absolutely no enjoyment for a top predator like a lion survival is important but they get to laze around as well and socialize. Perhaps the purpose of life is to see what happens at the end of time to see what's come and gone what developments happened what was achieved and what was lost. No, that's way too poetic. Maybe it's as simple as something had to dwell in the void or it's just a void.

I don't do much reading but I love the Dune novels I used to love reading pulp horror novels like James Herbert and Shaun Hutsons. I really like reading HG wells's stuff, still stands up today and the style he thought the future would be is a cool one.

Raymond Kurzwell is a futurist. He basically speaks of an insanely cool theory called the singularity where science and techology (largely assisted by as yet unmade super computers) are so fast at developing new techonologies that it is practically instantaneous. No deleopment time just a few seconds for your personal nano fabricator to make this new thing for you and the rest of the world. The guy believes by 2020 computers will be as smart as a human and by 2045 computers will be a billion times more intelligent than every human on earth combined. It is around 2045 we reach the singularity. And for anyone who thinks 'maybe'. This guy accurately predicted the fall of the Soviet union and the rise of the internet and wireless devices. I hope he's right because he's saying for anyone now 30 years and under if we can just avoid being killed between now and 2040 computational power and medical science will have developed an effective immortality. Some People may be happy with 80 years but not me I have things to do. He also said by 22 mdiecal science will be a thousand times more advanced than today and will mean that for every subsequent passing year human life extension will also add a year. (apparentely 3-4 months of life expectancy were added in 2007 due to the development of new medicines and treatments). I'm the most untechnophobic person you could meet so this guy is the new messiah for me. I think you can't tell anyone how to deal with the situation, you sometimes have to make the mistakes to realise. I had a lot of peope tell me when I was screwing up but I thought I knew better, now I know back then I knew nothing. That's why mistakes are great because they teach you better than any other way and once you've made it (hopefully) you won't make it again. I don't have any regrets because all the mistakes I have made have made me the person I am today, if I had avoided them I might be a weaker person.

What maes me laugh is the way the bible is altered as civilisation grows more accepting of difference e.g. homosexuality, theres already rumblings in the vatican they will write out that gays will go to hell. This is the problem with Doctrination you have no idea how the future will pan out when it was written in times long before medievil times.

I think a lot of girls have a mega hard time picturing someone better than what they have, My Ex went out with this guy who was a first class dick with her, I asked her why she stuck it out with her and she said to me, 'Well better the devil you know really.' So in her mind all guys where gits and she was better off with a git she was familiar with. But I cant blame a lot of girls for feeling this way when they've been shat on so many times by guys they will feel that way but for some reason it never occurs to them to just be single. Some People find it so difficult to just be alone I have no idea why I love spending time on my own and get irritated if I don't.

I actually had a revelation when it came to women (probably not all but a lot). My mate was really into this girl who was mate of his and he told me about it and I felt for him because about eight years ago I was in the same position and its a pain in the arse. Anyway. He told me one time he felt like he should lean over and kiss her, he didn't, nothing happened I told him he'd buggered up but its easy to say that he also said he planned on just telling her how he felt I did that in the same position eight years ago and it wll went tits up. So he told how he felt, said he loved blah, blah, blah and she then went cold fish on him and acted totally disinterested. She then went an got together with his best mate about two months later. Why? It's simple, he gave her the opportunity to think about it and dismiss him. A lot of girls especially some of the ones I've been with cannot help themselves when a bloke kisses them if there is some attraction there, they will lie back and let it happen and it's all downhill from there. Tell a girl how you feel and then walk away and she has time to think about a million different reasons why she shouldn't do it. It's not nice guys finish last it's forthright guys come first. I've seen some of the geeky gimbos on the planet get girls I mean really dweeby little slugs who think they're all that and do get girls, why? Because they dont give them time to think when they get the signal they make the move and get results. I know some total gits who never get girls because they aren't pushy enough. It's how I work from now on anyway, I'll NEVER pour my heart out to a girl again I'll just try it on if it feels right. From my experience it's what a lot of women want to feel like they're so irresistable that you cant help your self. I'm not saying this is just women who's done this, I caught myself doing it one time when I heard from a girls mate she was on my case. Now if she'd have come over and made a move I would have recipricated but because I was asked I thought about it then realised I couldnt be bothered. I actually kicked myself afterwards cause she wasn't too bad but there you go human nature, just be brave enough to make a move when you get the opportunity it does work at, least for me anyway.
