  2. Not exactly. Both the Shadow Guyver and Battle Guyver units are modren Gen Tech. As such the max they would go to would be about equal to a Gigantic Guyver in raw power. Doesn't matter how powerful the host is the Limiation device is in both of these units. The only way to break that limit would be to have an already very powerful host, E.G. Alkanphel / Zeugma. But the main thing they would get from these Units then would be regeneration. The fight though would still be cool. I'd imagine Andre would sooner or later have a Syn v Bio-Titan fight....
  3. Not sure off hand, but the translated data file would be on Japan Ledgend somewhere for Muakarmi
  4. Where is this!?! Read the bit closely when Guyver Zoalord goes on the rampage.
  5. I wouldn't go as far as saying "Future allies" with humanity as a while being there fighting alongside the Kavzar. That would simply not be a possibility in the story as it is. Humanity even to the Gen while they protect humnaity is still like how humanity would use chimps in research.. You might view that as harsh but it's about as close as you can get to how they would view us (in fact all biological creatues, remember when you see them first in Time War they are energy based). The Gen though aren't simple killers though all in the name of science, they do make attachments and do have feelings and are effected by their human bodies. They are not sheep either and make their own choices, in Time War it is shown why the Nova Guyvers were able to enter the relic without a Guyver armour. It was because a Gen is their great ancestor.
  6. No problem. Well thats the hard thing about Guyver, it is being around for ages. But again Takaya shows us something new every so often (even though a lot of you guys doesn't like it all the time... Exceed ). Real life, old age etc is what has combined for me to feel the re-write must happen. I look back at what I wrote and what I know now and think... Umm that doesn't work! But real life also means I don't get as much time to do all the things I want to do. But saying that... I've less time the last few years to work on the site, but I haven't released constant storys like I'm doing now in a long time. one thing stopping the forum is that I've disabled the ability of new people to join. Thanks to SPAM bots.... When I get the current rewrite done I'll be investing a lot of time to updating the board so that it has anti-spam and the ability for people to activate their own accounts. That along with a new site update should help things along nicely. At the moment though I simply wouldn't want "new blood" to find the site the way it is at the moment, with only one story about completed in the re-write it's not in a great state for new people to find the story. As for new blood to take over some of the writing, again I wouldn't want that to happen until the re-write is finished. The new site structure is a lot more friendly to it though so yes it will be allowed to happen in the future, though only if the story's wrote are good and match up with the existing stories.
  7. Possibly yes. I've finished doing 1 of 4 section of story I wanted to add this morning. the most complex to write will be the Guyver 0 one as it will have to meet up with what Matt wrote about Guyver 0 in his first story. Another section will be very short but again important and last but not least will be from the Gen side of the end of Time War. Overall I'm very happy the way the plan is working out.
  8. I'm looking at option 4 as it's the most interesting.... not going to say it will never happen but still what would happen if it did??? Simply put it would depend on the HOW it happened and which side did it. Dreadnought's ownly major weekness (as shown in 7 days) is that he cares for others and will do everything in his power to help them. Even giving Fiona the Dreadnought armour to help her in her battle with the Elminator. You take away all that and you will have war. Jason, the focused no family alive and looking for revenge Jason simply put is beyond driven. He won't stop on his quest for revenge until it is completed. But here is the thing. Lets say it was the Grakken who destroyed Earth, after getting his revenge Jason has destroyed them. What then? Would he find a home with the Gen? Read Time War closesly is all I'll say, even the 4 parts already show just how close humanity and Gen are.
  9. More writing done last night... he's dead! Guyver Zoalord is dead! Ok joking aside I'm now is addition mode and tidying up the story by adding in parts needed to link up Part 5 correctly with 1 to 3.
  10. Everything happens in cycles. But as I've learned over the years of running this site it's best just to run with it when things are working and make the most of it. Mike will be back and will be continuing the Cronicles story line. Just I wouldn't be expecting that to be any time soon. RL claims all at times, I'm actually arranging to move house (I'm buying one for the first time). The only reason it's not impacting me so much is I do most of my writing on the train to and from work. That hasn't changed (my little trusty netbook is the best buy I ever did for the site!) but I hope to get the big site update done before then. James is around somewhere lurking don't worry! And Matt (as he said) is focused on what drives him at the moment which is art. Sooner or later though he'll not admit it that will drive him to write something... IF he can ever get his ass away from games!
  11. Ok back to updating you guys. I'm at the part of the final bit of the fight betweeen Guyver Zoalord and Warrior Guyver (and the Gen army and Guyvers). Things have happened differently than before in the sense what was built up in parts 1 to 3 have relevence here. Now once that is done as I've said before, there's still a decent bit of story to add to sort out what was said and done in parts 1 to 3. Now I don't plan for those parts to be especially long but nor do I plan for them to be a simple five liner. With this update coming to redesign the WG-Fic site and get it along the way too. Included in this will be the updated Warrior Guyver data file and the Gigantic Guyver along with a much needed update of the art section (basically including the new stuff published on the site). I will also be going through some of my old fics and while not updating them, any that has that white text will be reformatted to help those like myself that end up bleary eyed after reading them! The new site design will simply say before going into the story if it has being rewrote or not. There will be character profiles going up OUTSIDE the date files section, the obvous first one will be Jason. With each rewrite completed (and future story completed) I will be building up this section. Note character profiles will not be about powers, it will simply be about the character and will include people like Dr Drake, General Carter etc as well, and in time (probably after the All Things Change rewrite) the ACTF Leadershp and Chronos Leadership as well.
  12. Ahh I thought you where on about the standard Warrior Kavzar, in W'Kar's story he's dealing with Lar'Cass, who would be dreaming up ways of doing things differently to Solom's vision that had stagnated (in Lar'Cass's view) by modren times. Simply put what Lar'Cass said wouldn't be the standard but more the way he sees it.
  13. The problem is Rescue. The story as it is doesn't work and does not focus on the actual "Rescue" near enough. So basically once you cut everything out of the story just leaving Guyver US, Warrior Guyver and maybe also Warrior Guyver 2 filling in the gap from the Rapier Guyver (who's not going to be in the wrote story) that just leaves the Grakken. They need this story to properly intruduce them (namely the Sect) into the fan-fiction. 7 Days part 7 did a lot, but story wise the build up from Union, Time War and Revenge with their story line leads to Resuce. The impact on that to All Things change is two fold. 1, events that take place in Resuce to with Chronos, XT9 and Zygote Guyver all need to flow into the first 2 parts of All Things Change. That will not flow natually so more will need to be added to the story to make it work. Next the Grakken story only really begins to hit All things Change at the point the Merc's show up (as you guys know their story will happen very differently to before too so again that's a lot of work). You don't realise it yet, but will as the rewrite hits it, but All Things Change needs a lot of work. A lot of Merc characters were simply ignored and need development. They have to get a least starting development in this story as 7 Days doesn't feature them at and the next 2 are set in other Universes. They will mostly be in the same part of the story. Next you have Zygote Guyver, her story is setup nicely in the Assasin Guyver and then 7 days. But her intoduction will be a little different than before but she still will attack Warrior Guyver in the early parts of All things Change. Battle Guyver, doesn't happen until the end of All Things Change, so Cori's story needs to be handled differently. Zeugma's introdction in part 4 sucks. So basically will happen differently to before and will have more focus on her being out of time. ACTF won't come involved in her story right away either giving her time to develop. The events leading up to Dreadnought's return need to go differently too. Basically timing wise the story of the Lorcan / Jason "Warrior Guyver" will conclude without "real" Jason being involved. Kron is the major villian in the first 3 parts of the story as before, but a lot of what he does to the leadership of Chronos this time isn't from him but by Alkanphel himself so when the other leaders of Chronos return their organisation is ready. Zeus will be Kron's natual enemy in the story, so Agito's story in All things Change is more on the lines of the main hero for much of the story (in his own dark way that is). Basically when you take all that above in account All things change does a lot, but the re-write really hits home in this story like it does in Time War. But what I've planned will work very nicely.
  14. It's not really an upgrade module. The Aceaer is the armour that makes a Kavzar. But it is bonded by a Gen device to the host. Once it's bonded they are bonded for life. So rather than saying upgraded it would be more a merging. Time to also give an update on how things are going. I'm working this week in Cork, which is the other side of Irealdn from where I do normally. So simply put my routine of writing on the morning train has gone to pot. so basically this will delay me updating the story... Anyway as it stands the story is almost done. There are about 5 pages of Fic left to be rewrote. This is basically from the final battle between WG, the Gen forces and the Guyver Zoalord. I also want to add another few pages of new story, focusing on Guyver 0 and other characters from stories 1 to 3. So while it's close to being completed, I want to add more to it to wind up plots within the story correctly and setup Guyver Zoanoid and Guyver 2's return to the story a little differently to before. But overall I don't think I'll be posting the story this month.
  15. Alan hasn't responded to this since. So looking to see if one or two of you guys who likes to RPG wants to take over a new message board. I'll have an admin account basically to make sure the board can be upgraded to the latest version and to keep it running. I've no intentions of being a mod unless you guys lose control of the place and basically causing trouble. So in other words, if your mature about it (more than I was when we first started the WG.com board banning people over stupid drenn and having a rule section that now is more embarrassing than anything else) and want to run the board let me know here.
  16. If such a thing ever happened you'd hear about Matt ruling Canada never mind getting some nice artwork done
  17. That hasn't changed even with the rewrites. The Aceaer Unit still bonds with the host, it's just in the WG 2 Universe you never saw what happened in the processes. The only thing you know is that the Aceaer's are not brought into battle. It hasn't changed. The Gen like the Uranus allow evolution (mutation) to play it's hand. Yes the Gen could have a bigger army via cloning methods, but all they get is something the same again and again. It's not what they want, they want an army that can learn and continue to evolve (though it is still very controlled). The untold trillions of Aceaers give the Gen the main part of army, it's the core of their forces and the part that evolves their hosts.
  18. The real strenght of the Gen armour is the Kavzar, and they are bonded with the host for life, from there you go all the way up to an Enfrocer. Along all the way the host has to prove themself. If you read the Enforcer Kavzar there is a fight to the death between 8 Commanders, the winner becomes the Enforcer and the parts of his defeated foes become part of his new form. Basically it's survival of the fittest to become anything in the Gen army. the Aceaer Cast, basically is the cheap cannon fodder of the Gen army. the Units are mass produced and the people who become them are on 1000's of "Seed Worlds" where the populations grow to the billions all worship the Gen. Yes the Grakken have their own expendable robots, I'd still put my money on an Aceaer above them though (well the Martin made ones anyway).
  19. The Aceaer is a common armour, basically the Unit-A of the Gen troops. It's a common massed produced armour and should never be confused with a Guyver unit. Humanity only has use of these because the Gen want them to have use of it. Remember the Gen are willing to let people die to test their theory. they are also willing to treat humanity as a computer, storing backups of Guyver conciousness and restoring their favorite hosts whenever they want. Simply put they are not bound by the same moral standards that humanity has. What that basically means is for their army, which is HUGE, untold billions of their troops are out there. Only the ones that survive make it to be a Kavzar, and that amour insures that the week don't survive. These aren't Guyver's, look at the Black Aceaer Unit in the Assassin Guyver story, what happened to it when the host took too much damage and was in danger of being in Chronos hands?
  20. When you see a Giant Gigantic Exceed foot and a little Gigantic Dark in the same picture who has used his most powerful attack that didn't even phase it.... you have to wonder is Gigantic Dark f*cked!
  21. Update time, not sure if I'll get the story complete by mid June but it shouldn't take much longer than that. The reason being I've added something new to the story character wise, not saying whom but it will be interesting. You'll see in the story so far I'm moving things a long little faster than before, e.g. at the start of Time War the only Chronos areas left in the USA are Texas and Arizona. The main reason I'm moving along some of these events so that it gives more time to later stories (More so All Things Change) so that events moved into time happen with a better flow (e.g. the aftermath of the fall of Europe in revenge thanks to the Gen). Havin Max in the story eariler also gives the story a chance to flow better as events that just didn't sound right around his fight with Cyber Guyver and FG2 are simply totally removed. in line with what we would expect from Max, he'll go a little more all out than Guyver US did against them so the fight will flow a little more differently than before (though will still end the same way with Cyber Guyver being damaged and needed to repair off a Green Armour). Aceaer Marine will also be a litle more realistic this time and interesting, as you'll have read in part 2, the Aceaer isn't a Guyver and is capable of taking impact based damage to the host. IT's not as quick healing that damage as a Guyver so internal damge to the host has a much higher cost than to a Guyver (e.g. All things Change were the host takes hit that kills him that wouldn't kill a Guyver). Looking at the rewrite things are flowing well and I'm really happy with the result, anyway back to work.
  22. Yup, would be a good guess.
  23. That would be more a question for James. But yes, they all need editing (More so the Creators section) but for me I'll only begin to work on it after the stories re-writes are complete (along with improvements to the site layout).
  24. As it's being awhile, time for an update on how the re-write is going. If you look at Time War part 5 (or part 2 as it's known on the site) I'm currently at the point where Warrior Guyver speaks with the now Guyver Faye. So I'm about over half way through the story. Now I plan to add 2 or 3 new bits to the story to round it off with the new stuff that has being added to Time War. But I don't see them being all too huge. Not at a point where I can guess when it will be finished but I'm making good progress through the story.
  25. All things needs things like more story on the Mercs, their Units (that's almost a complete part in itself). Zeugma is another major character and so on including Cori and her story to become the Battle Guyver. Then there is the Grakken and Chronos storyline and so on.... All Things needs a lot of work to fit in correctly and work as a nice story. IT introduces a lot of characters and Changes (hense the name). The Mercs story as pointed out by you guys and myself simply sucks... they get paid to kill themselves? Who in their right mind would attack Chronos after what Alknaphel does to Warrior Guyver? Nope Baxter has a plan, and it's not to go head strong against Chronos and gettings wiped out by Kron and Alkanphel. Zeus is another major event of All Things that wasn't "cool" enough... so simply put I think All Things Change could do with the level or work I put into time War. I've updated the list at the start of this topic too so show the current plan.
