It's something I've realised is important more and more. A term I've heard before on this is "Lore Metal". For a reader to engage with a character it needs some sort of lore metal and story behind it. To me any Guyver shouldn't die without this, so when the character goes you feel something for the loss. Someone should be upset that X character died. The characters that character used to intereact with miss him/her etc. This can't happen for all characters ofc, but in the end the fan-fiction becomes weak if Guyvers are viewed as something easily made and disposable. It's something with the Grakken and Gen you can't contain, but for the human races it's something I want to maintain and build on. A good example of this is Battle Star Galatica, if any of you followed the show will know (to anyone reading this for the first time and just getting into the new show consider this your spoiler warning) the Cylon race of human hybrids were efectively immortal with bodies store in regeneration pods ready to contain their minds if they dies in Regeneration ships. The story though got a lot more interesting, when Death was introduced to the race and that technology taken away from them. Now I'm not saying I'll do that to the Grakken or to the Gen, they have a different future ahead of them to what happened to the Cylons. But for humanity and I'm going off point here a bit, it's best that Guyver Unit's are kept rare.That when one dies it really is a loss.

There would be one thing that would have me very leary about writing in a "Shizu harem". It is the possbility that Shizu is Agito's step sister. Agito's family ties and that of Shizu's are a little too grey to write into that much detail. While there is a possibilty of Agito having an army of Guyver 3 I personally don't want to do that as it reduces the impact of what Shizu the clone is. She was hard to produce and with a limited amount of orginal not modified human DNA a once off (that's my excuse anyway ) I'm still working on part 2. It's not coming together easily as there are a larger number of character involves to make it flow more easily in reading terms. I've also to think a little bit more logically and have the story flow in a way that is not natural and give reasons for it. Here's the best example: The Japanese Guyvers: Sho and Agito do not have much of a reason to stay in Japan. Here's the thing we know: 1) Sho and co planned to move the USA before Aigto's Gigantic Dark betrayal. To make matters worse for the idea of them sticking to Japan in the fan-fic after Union you've the fact that EVEN after all Agito has done, Sho not only forgives Agito but gives him the remains of his dead friends so Agito can bury them in the USA. 2) Agito's hostility in Union to the ACTF. Why would be bother with it? Japan has less free forces that Japan and Agito would still have ZT members hidden somewhere he could trust or better yet move to the USA where he could get in with a new resistance movement. It doesn't make sense for Agito not to be in with the ACTF and hide from them as much as he did in the Fan-Fic. So basically I've to be better in my story writing to correctly explain why events happen so that the Japanese Guyvers are in Japan during Time War. There is a valid reason, I'm not going into it much right now Basically ye guys should get the idea, what I wrote then doesn't correctly match what I know now, so I've to plan out if I can change it, write it out or just go with it and hope no one notices.

thanks It's turning out to be, as it's nice place to go to after working on part 2 of Union. It's nice not having to think "will this match what is already wrote" and just flow with the story and work on characters that never had any real development and giving them some character. My plan orginally was for this story to have no fighting in it whatever, but I realised that too would be boring to write and more so read. So there will be action as you can guess form the opening, just for a change it'll not be Dreadnought (can't use the same character all the time, otherwise he turns into Optimus Prime in the transformers, and nothing can happen without him!).

Not much free time at the moment, I've being getting a new kitchen installed in the house along with a LOAD of other house builds... Got a new back door to the house where one of the back windows used to be and were the old backdooor used to be is now bricked up! So sufice so safe RL is keeping me busy.... Anyway. I've not forgotten the webesite and will be adding a new section to the soon to be renamed "Hosted Websites" section of WG.com. Guyver 4 Anime page which was deleted a few months back with Geo Cities removing their free website section will be joining the WG.com. First through I've to do a LOT of converting of website copies I made a few years back after the last Geo Cities wobble. You might wonder "Why would you bother doing that Brian???" Simple answer is I loved the Guyver 4 Anime page 15 odd years ago (my god that makes me feel old!) and if not for it I'd have never thought to have made the Warrior Guyver fan-fiction. The idea of writing a fan-fiction of my own which has a Guyver 4 charater of my own based on Isis from Anita's fan-fiction being around and the orginal fiction dispearing into the delete bin of the internet didn't sit well with me. SOO I made a very big archive back then. The problem is getting it all to work together on this website and removing the horrid averts from the HTML code of the website. While it might be distracting as I've my own WG-Fic site still to finish, I'm working on both as it's just something I have to do. Not sure on an ETA as the next 3 weeks are ****e for time, but simply put WG.com is not forgotten!!! I also need to once again update the messageboard... Who... meh hate doing this as it's one of those times you really hate if it goes wrong. Need to remember to do full backups before I start!

Worth pointing out the Op's point though, this isn't a normal unit, it's a Warrior Unit.

Depends on who or what exactly appeared in the DC universe. Lets say for arguement sakes we go all powerful, Dreadnought was the one to appear there. Or to have REAL fun Zagam. You're talking mainly the high end heroes who would have a chance. You're talking extream fire power, regeneration, etc. Dreadnought though would probably not attack anyone unless attacked. Zagam on the other hand would be pure death.

What I'm about to write here ties into also why I've not updated the site the last weekend. For the next few weeks I'll be focused on working on Character profiles for the site. The reason being is while yes, it's a bit of a pain in the ass and doesn't progress the actual story much it makes it a lot easier to write in the future and help the story some much needed character development of lesser characters. If you look at Illusion of choice's preview you see how the story gets better with a developed character that has back story giving you his point of view. It helps you understand the character more and it gets more fun to read when you see what will happen to other characters later based on his choices. it also helps keep track of a mammoth cast, today for example I was looking at my Merc cast and wondering... "hmm Marian Selfridge, what type of woman is she..." I realised it's a completely blank slate at the moment. The character has never had any real development ideas in the past either. Her only story was an emotional wreak after the death of her husband (that event has since being erased story wise thanks to the re-write). So there's the one thing this character has, she loves her husband. That is it. The problem is when you develop characters is keeping track of them all, so that is what I want out of the character profiles section. To be able to develop and keep track of the the characters in the story. It's good for me the writer, it's good for you the reader and its good for those slackers... aka fellow fan-fiction writers that sometimes... rarely write up some stuff. The above is the character profile of Alfrid Drano. Basically all future profiles will be somewhat like that.

Part 2 of Union is already at 3 pages of newly wrote story. Much like part 1 though I don't think much of the orginal fiction will remain by the time the re-write is done. I've being looking ahead of this too to see in terms of "heavy rewriting" which stories will get the same treatment as Union. Warrior Guyver 2 Character story -> Will not get heavy editing, but will get some additonal story to explain why in this story Agito is more of a hero than he normally would be. It will also show a little more about the Gen. But Revenge -> this story will get a lot of need added elements to it and basically is a "Chronos" story. Rescue -> Very heavy rewrite. BAsically will be a new story. Any elemenets to do with Chronos, Kavzar or Guyver XT9 will move to All Things Change. NOW heres the thing. I want to also get the story preogressing again. So Story 9 will also be wrote while I'm working on Union. This story will be called "The Illusion of Choice". The only thing I'll say about this story is that it's set a month after the events of 7 Days.

Thanks Xtro, thankfully Part 2 of this story is a little more fun to write. Simply put it's not fun writing orgin stories and at least now that part 1 is out of the way I can have more fun with the story.

The WG-Fic site will be getting some luv this weekend as I work towards getting it fully back up and running. I'm debating with myself at the moment if I want to redesign the site again as I've figured out how to get CSS menu's working correctly... I think I'll get the site re-formatted first with the template I made months ago and then for from there. At least from then on it'll have modren formatting and will be easier to work with if I do go with the idea of updating the menu system. Last Saturday I uploaded the newly rewritten Union of the Guyvers: part 1.

I'm working on the website at the mo... Just tested a new menu system at www.warriorguyver.com/index2.htm and it's working fine I'll be apply this to the site over the week and getting the newly rewrote union story Part 1 up as well hopefully. Nice to see a more cleaner code working! I also tested this on my iPhone and it works well.

Part 1 is finished All I'm going to say it restarting the story isn't easy... Thank feck that part is over and from here on I'm dealing with already created characters that have had development and not having to remove a Grakken from the story that was idiotic! I plan on getting the story up either this weekend coming or the one after. I'm going to an Aslan gig on Saturday night in the local night club so will be most likely too hungover to do anything after that this weekend

It was a great movie! Bare in mind, Mark is signed to do "Six Movies" and is heavily rumoured to be Iron Man 3. That would count as 1 movie.

Lets add to that what if as a "part b", what if Dreadnought (a) came back with Fiona as well and Dreadnought (z) found out?

Update time, working on the last story block of Part 1 of Union. At a rough guess if things continue as they are over the next 2 to 3 weeks it should be complete then. I'm looking forward to that as going to what was basically the start of fiction and trying to explain things and write about story lines that simply didn't exsist when I first wrote the story many, many years ago has being more defficult than I expected. Fun though, it'll be nice to carry this on throughout the story and see how the new plot lines work out.

It's still coming along. I probably shouldn't have done Time War before this story but such is life as it would have being easier to write, more so the dialog as I've to develop Taylor Smith to be interesting and also explain a lot with Chronos. The battle of New York is almost done, there's basically one last part to do that is very important. Once that is done I get the fun of introducing the Grakken. That will probably be easier than how it happened in the past, though more complicated in another way (Cori will be kidnapped in that story, so the question is when to time it and how to involve Sho and Sean).
