Reread this multiple times now; still can't get over Alky's face He looks like a bored kid while Tetsuro's getting his keister handed to him!

My dad said (and swears by) that me and my brother saw it when we were itty-bitty, but ever since I had a concussion I can't remember much before Junior High. I know I was introduced to the 2005 anime in High School by a computer junkie friend, who also showed me the fan art on deviantArt. I guess that's also how I got introduced to the site and to the fandom. Ever since then I've been addicted to Guyver like a kid addicted to sugar.

Anonymous: Technically, that's Alky's house.

 This is awesome!

Thanks, Yuki-chan. New stuff: I finally got and beated Pokémon Alpha Sapphire completely...It. Was. Fantastic! It's a well executed remake of the old Hoenn region games with a lot of upgrades. I love the new Primal forms of Kyogre and Rayquaza, and I was super happy to get the chance to catch Deoxys in-game finally. My only complaint about it is that leveling up all the Pokémon in my party seemed too easy as I completely annihilated the Gym Leaders and League. Still, it's fun and addictive!

This semester of school has started...with me hitting the ground running. It's my last semester and I've got mixed feelings about graduating. I'm glad to be getting my diploma soon, but sad I'll be leaving this wonderful campus. I also am anxious about this last stretch because I have so much to prepare for for graduation (senior exhibit, etc.), and apparently I'll be the first in my family to receive a Bachelor's Degree in anything. Lots to do in so little time (and so little budget).

So, my step-sis rescued her Pomeranian dog from her dad on Christmas day before he could 'give it away' like he did to two of her other dogs. After some digging around, I found the dog brush and she brushed a ton of dead fur off of the poor thing; I even had to get my fabric scissors out to cut off the matted chunks (his tail is almost bald now because of it). During this, we found signs of mange on the poor thing, so today he's getting treated to a medical bath with a dose of organic shampoo to help with the itchy skin. A very poor way to say 'Merry Christmas', huh?

Sprechen se English, please. My German sucks, and that drawing was done by a member called Lucethia (both here and deviantArt).

Have I mentioned that one of my classes if called Music of Harry Potter? Yes, we do have a class like that on campus. It is taught by the residential organist and book worm of the music department, and she has turned us all into movie/music critics. We're even nit picking the reviews made by critics! Once you learn all the music terms and then watch the movies, you see that most critics tend to just listen to the soundtracks and not the movies. Now we all have an 'ear' to pick up individual themes and leitmotifs and a critical view of compositions (tone, execution, etc.). We all have our favorite composers and our least favorite (*cough*Goblet of Fire*cough*), and John Williams is among the top three with Nicholas Hooper (once he actually pulled his head out of his rear and did some good work) and Alexandre Desplat (who also composed the music for the new Godzilla), if not number one on a few lists. I could go on and on about it for the next three years. Once you take a class like that, you'll never look at movies the same again!

I applaud you, Captain Rodgers *applause* That's a real hero right there!

I can't believe how fast time has flown! It's already December and everyone's getting ready for finals exams. I'm going to try to get Vol. 31 of Guyver off of eBay sometime after the holidays. That might be what I'll do for future volumes from now on; the scanlations keep getting mixed up on my tablet every time I try to read Guyver and I like have the physical copies.

Looking for input on a Guyver fanfic I'm working on.
river_chaos replied to PowerofGuyver's topic in Fan Fiction
It sounds interesting enough. I'm more interested in plots of a story, but you seem to have a good idea of where you're taking this. -
Oh my word, senior year is rough. It feels like I haven't gotten a break in forever. At least I'm keeping up with everything in school. For one of my senior projects, I'm doing a tribute to Guyver (not that many people are going to notice ). Hopefully I can pull it off and be able to place it in my senior show next semester.

That's a very difficult question to answer, Alk. I don't know if even Takaya knows his exact age. Still, there have been archeological finds that suggest that the ancestors of homo sapiens were around during the big Ice Age. Those primitive looking humans might be from the species that evolved into today's homo sapiens. If Alky was created a little before that time period, that would place him around 2.6 million years old as Salkafar suggested.

I found a new way to determine when I'm extremely stressed: apparently I sound like one of those weird creatures from the Dark Crystal movie when I groan in frustration. I didn't know I could even do that O.o Classes are going great. I'm very excited about the school year, especially Family Weekend that got moved up to this month instead of October. Everyone's going to be in a rush to prepare for that in time. Nerd club is going great; we've got a wide variety of Freshmen this year, so hopefully we'll have more members. I'm about to head to bed. Work was rough tonight, and I've got classes that need my full attention tomorrow. See ya later!

Finally back to school! Yay! My professors are all from different fields, and will make class interesting this year. My business professor will even get out a water gun and drench you in ice cold water for missing class without an excuse. I got a Theater Major for a roommate this year; she's cool, and the girlfriend of a good friend of mine. We get along and talk, even talk about random stuff like when our dogs made a horrendous mess that made us gag. I'm already missing my puppy, and apparently he's missing me too. I'm glad dad's GF is will to bring him up every now and then when she visits.

Finally got ahold of the Maximum Ride manga I have to say: the manga is easier to read than the novels. You're not having to process the details through Max's point of view 90% of the time. I'll be giving some dogs a much needed flea bath later in the evening. The flea problem has gotten pretty bad, and it appears we're going to have to switch flea/tick drops because the stuff we currently have doesn't stick to the dogs skin like its supposed to. At least we've got the flea/tick collars on them to keep the little buggers off their heads.

Just got word that Robin Williams died....DAMN IT!! This sucks! He was an awesome guy and one of my all time favorite actors/comedians! R.I.P. Mr. Williams
-
Even for Attack On Titan they had to tone it down a bit for the TV series. The manga shows a lot more blood and people getting eaten alive (not indicating it; actually showing it).
-
Made the mistake of reading Attack On Titan before going to bed last night I forgot how bloody the slaughter scenes are, damn! I don't think the anime has so much blood in it, but then again they probably had to tone it down to even get it on TV in Japan and America.

That's because Star Wars is known on an international level by all ages; everyone in the world knows what Star Wars is. That and I don't think they've found a cool enough name to call themselves.

Zoa-nerd sounds cooler.

It's kay, Yuki. Just be more specific in the future
