Okay, seriously, what's with the random ads that keep popping up when I get on here? Is it Google doing this or what? I love this website, but it gets annoying when an ad comes up when I'm trying to read an interesting thread!

Just found out my friend's funeral is tomorrow morning Me and my brother are going; this will be heartbreaking for us both.

Thanks, guys. I think I'm still in the denial stage; his death hasn't really sunk in yet. I'll be returning to classes and work tomorrow, hopefully stable enough not to do something drastic to someone.

This morning I just got new that a good friend of mine from high school was killed in Sunday's tornado I found out from my dad, then I found the casualties list, and confirmed it through posts by friends in the area. I can barely talk, let alone type, about this without becoming a complete wreck. A classmate is having to notify my professors why I can't come to class today, and even my bosses at work are telling me to take the day off. He was the best of friends to everyone. During my brother's game nights, he'd talk to me about Pokémon or the latest anime episodes he'd seen; we'd discuss games our friend group wasn't interested in or upcoming manga releases and if they were worth the money spent. We even saw each other at the first A-Kon trip I took with a university club. He would have graduated college this month, probably gone where he could be his all out otaku self at work.

The casualties list was just released....and a good friend was listed.....Friends also confirmed this.... RIP good friend....

@Chernaudi: As far as I can tell, most of my friends are safe. My family moved up to Fort Smith three years ago after I graduated high school. You can never tell with this weather if were in the safe zone or not.

I lived in Vilonia. Joplin got spared this time around.

My home town....has been reduced to rubble....Three years ago, it experienced a similar tornado, but never before had we ever experienced a death toll so high....16 dead alone in my little town...Homes reduced to their foundation slab, and a new school that'll have to be rebuilt from scratch; I can't even begin to describe how serious the damage is....

Went camping for Spring Break last week. Have I ever said being surrounded by trees with not cell phone reception, no wifi, and being on one's own vast property in the middle of nowhere is very therapeutic? My dad and uncle inherited land from their dad that's located next to a federal forest, so me, my dad and brother, and uncle were out camping in near isolation for an entire week. Best part about the trip: no drama and near perfect silence to enjoy a book or two. Didn't have a problem with bugs in camp due to burning holly and cedar wood we had to clear out of our path way.

......*blink*.......that's it? THAT'S FRIGGIN IT?!!! I go camping for a week and come back to an anti-climatic chapter! AAARRRGGHH!

guyverfan: I don't think they've given a specific number yet. I'd imagine they'd be able to haul an army of 1 million in it on take off, but during the years of travel I'd imagine that number would increase to its maximum capacity due to breeding.

^^^Aether, this is exactly what's been bugging me since the evidence began pointing towards Imakarum. Takaya isn't good at keeping identities secret from the fans, but the reasons behind the characters actions are his best kept secrets. When Apollon's identity is reveled, everyone following the story thus far is going to receive one hell of a shock to learn what's really going on, at least that's my opinion.

I now have volumes 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 of Guyver in my collection now I'm a happy camper! I also got my trademark hair cut today; my hair used to got all the way down to the small of my back, and now it's above my shoulders. I won't be hearing meemaw complain about my hair clogging up her vacuum in the near future, lol

A-Kon is the largest anime convention in the southern United States, held in Dallas, Texas, and it keeps growing in attendance every year. It's where Funimation and manga companies reveal the new titles, announce new seasons for an anime, and hold panels with voice actors from their big hit shows. There are other panels with various online comic artists, historians, professional cosplayers, and even video game programmers. It's an awesome event!

A simple rotation action would work; the programs will think it's been edited even though nothing has changed the image itself. On another topic: I will not be going to A-Kon this year While I won't have to work this summer to afford my college text books, I will be sad that I'll miss the awesome things happening at the convention.

If that's the case, then I'll need to go into those files and make it appear that I modified something to get the scans in order. *sigh* When I get my computer science degree, I'm going to make a tablet that is smart. P.S. I realized recently that I seem to have an unhealthy obsession with plush dolls...I have so many it almost makes my room look like a little girl's room.

Well, Guyvers 1 and 3 survived swimming through the Relic's liquid stuff, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say they could survive in a vacuum like environment.

I have a feeling Takaya may be reading these threads concerning who Apollon is and is enjoying--if not laughing at--the fans' constant debates/speculations....

So, once upon a time, I had several fanfics--including my Guyver stories--on fanfiction.net. Last night I couldn't get on the site and today I got the 404 error message Are there any other sites I can post my stories on? I know deviantArt is a place I can do that, but I want to post where people don't have to strain their eyes while reading my stories.
