  1. Uh, dude. TokyoPop's out of business, at least here in America that is. Still, I don't think they'd screw up a manga that much *knocks on wood*. Still, it pisses me off when people plagarize like this
  2. Well, moving to another place is always difficult, even if your just relocating to another house in the same city. Really, I couldn't imagine myself in another country. Me and my family have moved twice in the span of two years since I started college, and I've made it clear to my dad that I don't want to move again any time soon. When I was younger and my mom had taken me and my brother with her to live with her parents, I had to attend a school for kids that were complete pricks. The teachers weren't the best either, and I never really fitted in there. I remember the library there being completely pathetic as well, even for an elementary school. My grandparents didn't help matters either; we weren't allowed to cry or get a glass of water without permission. It took a while for Dad to get me and my brother out of the habits drilled into our brains. Still, when you go to some place new you learn something(s) that stick with you for life. I learned to just be myself and not get attatched to someone right away until I know them better.
  3. Well, at one time Aptom did say that he didn't know what all he gained during the Draglord incident (where he absorbed a butt load of Zoanoids of every type including Hypers). Maybe he absorbed that kind of Hyper Zoanoid then and didn't know about that ability recently?
  4. Okay, first raction: what the hell is that thing?! Second: HOLY ****!!! THAT'S SHO AND APTOM?!!!
  5. Ouch! I listened to the first few seconds on medium volume. That thing is loud! *rubs ears* It sounds similar to a bagpipe really, minus the extreme volume.
  6. Pibgorn? No, I haven't. What is it? Yeah, I like the gemshorn sound too. I seem to have a talent for finding things at random when I don't know they exsist, like the auto-harp I got as a high school graduation gift.
  7. It's kay, Ryuki. Onwards: Came across something random while looking at ocarinas on eBay called a gemshorn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJX8o1goaEg A recorder like instrument made from a cow's or goat's horn and produces a rather interesting sound. Too bad I can't get the tenor or bass yet that would be fun to play with.
  8. Ah, okay. I understand. Still, it is kinda fascinating to spot old military equipment. If it helps any, there were also American Civil War cannon models for sale there too, but they shoot only golf balls.
  9. Hey, self-defence only. Besides, I can't buy guns. My brother and uncle were the only ones who bought guns. I meant that I would've like to see more up to date stuff instead of a giant sea of old relics that are either falling apart or just wall peices that belong in a museum. I don't mind finding the katana (that's a one in a million chance of finding one at a gun show or at all), I just wanted to see more variety.
  10. Went to a Gun Show over the weekend with my dad, brother, and uncle. We would've enjoyed it more if the place wasn't packed wall to wall and the vendors sold more up to date stuff instead of WWI&II stuff. I saw a WWII Navy Captain's katana there that was on sale for over $1000; uh no. I'd rather buy something that I can actually use, not the junk you just hang on the wall at home. I did buy a bracelet there though; a vendor was selling bracelets that were like Pandora's stuff (same manufacturor too) but for a lot less ($35 dollars well spent I say).
  11. I'd probably make all the corrupted politicians step down (I'd rather not kill them unless needed), make the government make smarter laws that would help the economy instead of hurting the people, and blast anyone who says "art is not needed in society" with the megasmasher.
  12. I'm not sure if mine would be considered awesome since they stopped before any action could happen. I've only had one that's Guyver related. I'm in the position of a run away test type and three Zoalords are chasing me, one being Carleon (I think; not sure since they all looked real life like), another being Li Yentsui, and the last be Waferandos. I eventually got away from the by jumping off a tall ledge and into the deep river below; and it stopped there. That was years ago before I started reading the manga.
  13. Actually, it's 5 seasons, Ryuki, and a lot of it is cannon. There's twelve volumes of the manga, and the anime company made the anime while the creator was still working on the manga. If you get the chance, look at the manga sometime; it's loads better than the anime. Today I went on a club trip with the university's art club to the state capital. We went to an art museum and walked around the market next to the river. I think we all had fun hanging out and talking about arts and crafts (there was a farmer's market where craftsmen sold their homemade goods).
  14. Thanks Durendal!
  15. Sailor Moon was the very first anime I ever watched, and it's as old as me. I love it to death, and I'm currently collecting the manga that's being republished with better translations and artwork from the author. Oh, and they're remaking the anime too! From the news going around the web, it's suppose to be launched sometime in 2013.
  16. The crappily translated English dub is girly/kiddy, but the original Japanese dub is aimed towards both adolescent genders. You might find it humorous at times even though it is on the girly side.
  17. WHAAAAATT?!!!!!! You've never heard or seen Sailor Moon before?!!! We must fix this!!! *drags Ryuki to YouTube* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC-4Q_PIljc&list=FL_r9zNhy-sbsX6U6FNiC9Lw&index=5&feature=plpp_video Edit: Okay, I just wanted the link...-_- Whatever, it'll work.
  18. I'm not that good yet. Anywho, I'm kinda afraid to show this, but I wrote a Guyver crossover story with Sailor Moon http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8488183/1/Sailor-Gaea Yeah, I'm wondering what the hell caused me to think of such blasphelmes things and how it's getting so many views. Currently the view count for it is over 300 this month.
  19. Ahhh... No action again! Well, at least we saw Barcas as shocked as he'll ever get when he learned that a certain slimewad is still alive.
  20. Good luck!
  21. They can be made to do that, but I'm not skilled enough yet to make those.
  22. Thanks, Ryuki! Glovettes are finger-less gloves; all fingers are left bare while the palm and wrist are covered. It's an ideal acessory for autumn weather, especially if you're working on something that requires for you to move and stretch your fingers a lot (the organ proffessor here on campus was especially happy to see them at the booth yesterday). They can either be knitted or crocheted, but I knit my glovettes; not sure if they can be woven.
  23. All the glovettes I made the past two months sold like hot cakes on a Sunday at the University's Festival yesterday O.O I'm even getting orders from fellow students and some teachers are even saying they're planning on custom ordering some from me! Holy mongoose in a monster truck! I didn't expect this at all!
  24. Nothing like sitting back after a hard week's work and watching comedy specials with a roommate that enjoys a Fluffy guy making jokes about himself and his friends.
  25. Is it just me, or does Shizu look like she's....I dunno, emotionally tired?
