  1. The American version isn't as good in my opinion. The directors chose a bunch of pansies for drivers.
  2. My dad has a new favorite TV show that is aired on the British Channel here in America: Top Gear. I'm happy 'cause it's a sign that the old version of Dad is fully back. Before he married the evil he was a vehicle nut case, and I'm glad that part is back. Means less bitching for me to hear when I come home when I have spare time and less gray hair for him
  3. In the Bible Belt of the United States: painfully yes.
  4. Sadly, I live in a state that passes judgement without a second thought, even when they don't know what it is. I guess they just don't want to deal with the law if they try to rip me off or something because laws concerning disability employment are on the harsh side.
  5. Slight problem with that: not many Americans know that aspergers falls under autism or even heard of aspergers. I apreciate the suggestion, but telling them I have aspergers might confuse people instead (especially dumb managers).
  6. Been thinking about trying to get a job over the summer to help with college expenses. Major problem with that is the sucktaculor economy and my stupid autism. Tried before but got nowhere with it. Bad economy+mental disability that everyone in America thinks is the equivilance of retardation=pain in the butt to find a job.
  7. How about Darkest Hour by moonstoneglows (or Obsidian Ice....I think that's his name on here)? That doesn't have an OC for a main character. I guess everyone's just tired of writting abou the heros and find it more interesting to write about the enemy....while portraying Guyot as the sadistic slimewad he is. All the same, while the Zoalords are being fleshed out there is still some manipulation room for writers to portray them in their own way (like Kenji's version of Carleon being a pyromaniac that loves to kill humans). There's plenty of room for the imagination to go wild despite the restrictions set by the manga and what Takaya-sensie has revealed.
  8. Welcome aboard, Ehrgeiz!
  9. Well, for me it's because the history and personalities of certain Zoalords can be manipulated since we don't have much info on them (nor have we seen them interact with others very often). They're pretty much enigmas to the readers at the moment. That and since Cronos is such a big organization that is military based OCs can fit right in some how as a rebel scientist, a soldier, or what have you. Guyver I's group is pretty much well established at this point and would be more difficult to fit an OC in, and since they're hiding most of the time it would be hard to keep an interest in the story going. Now that I think of it, if one were to write on the Zoalord/Cronos side there wouldn't be much of a need to create an OC unless they really wanted to.
  10. Today has been.....extremely weird in some ways. First my security software goes to crap, and I am going to have to download a completely new one thanks to a virus I got on MediaFire This just has to happen when I'm saving up for the upcomming Nerd Club trip....but I'm not all completely surprised as to where I got the virus from. Next I get this random text from Dad saying "Blathering blatherskys!" Random as all get out, but I was surprised he remembered that show at all.
  11. I know, but tell that to some of the Hispanic/Porto Rican students here. Some of them really don't care where it's been most of the time so long as it's free (even if it's stolen). I know not all of them are like that, but some of the stuff I hear would probably make Agito Makishima's skin turn green.
  12. Who in the hell goes and steals a person's electric razor while said person is in the shower? Someone stole mine and whoever did it will get the full wrath of a Sakura-wannabe Argh! That sucks!
  13. I soooo want that Alkanphel figure
  14.  Holy snickerdoodles!!! That's one hell of a cliffhanger to leave us on! With Apollon in the picture now I'm thinking: LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLE!!! Also, what did he say to Guyot? Anybody got an idea?
  15. I never thought it to be possible to have dry, shiny, and smooth hands all at once until today. I worked on one of my ceramics projects and was applying water-proofing slip onto it and trying to wash off the stuff from my hands made them shinier. My friends are never gonna let me forget this
  16. I apparently freaked out the nerd club president last night when I decided to wear my yukata. Usually it's him freaking everyone out and it's very hard to freak someone like him out, so I'm kinda proud of myself for doing that.
  17. Was wondering if I was the only one thinking that.
  18. Yeah...I don't think my scanner quality is any better than what you guys have.... I tried to get it all, even with a camera, but it's not wanting to stay clear. If you want, I can type up the words in order from top to bottom. It won't be in Japanese since my computer doesn't have that kind of software, it'll appear as one long word for each line.
  19. Finally! I have a new pair of glasses!
  20. Thanks man! Just needed the publisher company and author to properly cite this book. I have the VDF and hence why I'm using it in comp class.
  21. Well, I would like to see all of it translated, since leaving those last pages with images untranslated make it look like a work still in progress. I really would like to know the publisher and author of the VDF since I want to use this as a source in a paper I'm writing for comp class.
  22. Sadly, my dad works for a bunch of cheap rat bastards that gave us medical and dental insurance, but nothing to cover eye care. I had to pay over $100 dollars to get a new perscription and glasses.
  23. Haven't updated in a while so... Current ceramics project. The objective is to make a vase based off of a historical vase. I based mine off of a Japanese vase.
  24. I now know how my dad felt when he bought me glasses years ago. My wallet is now dead...I don't think I've ever spent that much in one go before.
  25. Wrote this last night out of boredom: Alkanphel walked back into the Sleeping Chamber nearly an hour after he left Rhiannon in there to rest. He had equipped one of the remaining Units and was now starting to feel drowsy just like Rhia had felt earlier. It appears her hypothesis was correct, he mused approaching the altar he had slept on many times. Rhia was curled up on her side peacefully sleeping on the stone altar and Alkanphel couldn’t help but smile at the sight of her sleeping. She was adorable when she was sleeping like that, yet she also appeared vulnerable making him all the more protective of her. He shook his head at that thought. She was safe here on Sihla. There was nothing that could come and harm her here unless their enemies found the forgotten island, which was a very unlikely scenario. Finally getting to the point where he had to yawn, he decided to sleep next to her on the altar. He didn’t care what she would think when she woke up at the moment, and just messing with her like that was an added bonus; it wasn’t very often that he got a chance to pull small pranks like this on her. He discovered last year that she didn’t like sharing her bed with anyone. Sitting on the side of the altar, he swung his legs over into the resting place and laid on his side facing Rhia. He laid his arm over her abdomen and pulled her close to where his head was now above her head. Hearing her breathing and steady heartbeat, Alkanphel closed his eyes and fell asleep for the rest of the night. The next morning came and Alkanphel found himself fully rested for the first time in centuries. Rhia was still asleep and had apparently buried herself deeper into their embrace sometime while he slept; her face was now pressed against his chest close to his heart. Should I wake her up? He thought, thinking about what would happen if he did. “Hmm…” she stirred, starting to wake up on her own. “Fred’rich….you smell nice…” He almost said “huh?” at that. “Thanks for last night….I didn’t know making out would be so fun…” WHAT!!!? “Gotcha,” she looked up at him with a wide mischievous grin. She laughed as she hurried off the altar. “Maaka Rhiannon,” he nearly yelled at her getting up and off the altar as well. “Whoo! That was funny! And you totally fell for it!” “Please don’t do that to me again,” he tried to control his voice, furious with himself for forgetting that Rhia was a master prankster herself. “Okay, I’ll promise so long as you promise not to sleep next to me without my permission again.” “Deal.”
