  1. Yeah, I also have a friend that's a yaoi/yuri fan. Anywho, I made a lovely discover on campus today: there's a milkshake/smoothie maker in the university cafe!! Now I don't have to drive across the city to get my chocolate fix!
  2. Hmm, weird. Yeah, it's spelled "joso". Okay, after exploring the site some more and seeing the joso section, I can say they're misusing it. They're using it for the yaoi section They've got some nasty stuff up too.
  3. Yeah, I'm starting to learn a lot about the Bible's origines and the many times it has been monkeyed with. By the way, do you know what the word "joso" means? I saw it on an import website (for Japanese manga; didn't explore the place long after accidentally hitting the hentai link) and I can't find it in my Japanese dictionary.
  4. Upon looking at the pics you all have up, the human face looks like it would be cramped in the Apollon helmet (good thing none of the Zoalords are clausterphobic *kadunk kish*). Still, it is possible that a humanoid's inside the armor. I think it's Imakarum in there because Apollon's taller than Alkanphel (going by size comparison between Zoalords and how tall Apollon was in comparison to Carleon during their fight; Alky's at the average human teenage male height, Apollon's the size of a full grown man).
  5. Heiress of Alkanphel is complete. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6804970/1/Heiress-of-Alkanphel Will be working on the next part of my Guyver story soon
  6. Ahhh! Another cliff hanger!!!! At least we know for certain they're on Sihla now. I guess it's safe to assume that Imakarum or Alky is Apollon now? Anyone got any idea as to what Mizuki and Tetsuro are saying while they're looking at the mural?
  7. Had an interesting discussion in Old Testiment class today over a person's beliefe of the Bible (whether it's the true and absolute word, or if the Bible is a collection of experiences from the Hebrew/Christian point of view). I even told my instructor that we need to record some of our discussions because people could learn from what we're discussing and debating in this class.
  8. First day of classes went by fast, along with my first day on my first job. This semester I landed a job in the school cafeteria for lunch and dinner hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and dinner hours on Sundays. I am gonna be buuuuussssyyyy this year.
  9. Thank you for your work, GuyverAlpha!
  10. Sadly, we weren't. She and my meemaw were close though.
  11. A member of my family passed away today She had been fighting cancer to several months, and yesterday she gave up the fight. The angels came for her this morning. RIP Auntie....
  12. Went to see the Dark Knight Rises today Very cool movie! Now, to wait on the next few movies I wanna see next. I know one of them I'm gonna see on my birthday.
  13. Aether, you might want to look again. There's a dipiction of Alkanphel in his Zoalord form under the Creator's ship. Now that I think of it: back when Barcus was retelling his story to Amniculus and Purgstall, we didn't get a very good view of the interior of the temple or the images he passed on his way to meet Alkanphel. Even when the point of view shifted to Imakarum we still can't see the interior very well. Anyone else notice this?
  14. That just made my day!
  15. Maybe Takaya had a mind slip and forgot to draw Mizuki's shoes when he made that Happens to all manga artists. Quick question: Why would Apollon bring Tetsuro and Mizuki to Sihla (if that is where they are)?
  16. Knowing how Takaya looooves his cliff-hangers, I'm going to predict that there's gonna be a long dialog between Tetsuro, Mizuki, and Apollon. At the end he's gonna take off his helmet out of view and Tetsuro will say "Holy freakin' ****!" Mizuki will faint from pure shock and we'll have to wait another month to find out who Apollon is. Just kidding, though it would be funny and annoying if it turned out like that.
  17. We've got two crock pots, lots of skillets/pans, two pots, many glass bowls for either the microwave or oven, plastic resuable cups that need to be replaced, plenty of coffee mugs, too many utensiles, and too much silverware. Dad accumilated a lot of cooking stuff over the years Still, we have stuff that needs to be replaced (messed up or the bitch stole after she and dad split), but that's for when we can afford to get stuff. It's easy to organize a kitchen when you get a fell for said kitchen and learn what's more efficient.
  18. Well, after many days of finding all our kitchen esentials, we've finally brought a method to this madness of a house. We ended up throwing away a lot of tupperware and rearranging everything in the kitchen cabnets (Meemaw's logic--if it is logic--makes no sense to us). Really starting to get impatient with waiting for the new Guyver chapter; currently sitting on pins and needles to find out what happens to Tetsuro and Mizuki.
  19. Gotta love some July rain :)

  20. Wow, dude You have one generous friend indeed! That was very kind of him, and I bet he'll like the stuff you send him in return.

    Guyver arcs!?

The Baka rules and stuff confuse the hell out of me along with the need to divide up a story into arcs, but I will agree with BB Dude and Ryuki on the arc stuff. I DEFINITELY second this. It was pretty well self contained... then they found out that Cronos was a Multinational Corporation/Secret Society/Cult. That's Why I refer to it as the Cronos Japan Arc. I meant to comment on this. I would like to suggest the following to reflect this view. volume 01 - 01 (Guyver Discovery Arc) volume 02 - 08 (Guyver Reborn Arc) volume 09 - 17 (Guyver Gigantic Arc) volume 18 - 25 (Guyver Gigantic eXceeD Arc) This is probably going to the most acurate (and probably the best choice) for seperating the Guyver inot arcs.
  22. New drawing time!
  23. Kawaii!
  24. That's sad if their only doing it just for the views
