  1. Just got done watching both seasons of Attack on Titan, *changes to Zoe Hange voice* and I loved it! The music was superb, keeping me at the edge of my seat when Eren was duking it out with Titans and making me think "oh ****" when Annie showed her true colors! The animation was a work of art unto itself! The voices actors were perfect for their respective characters! My only complaint about it is that Eren and Armin are both whiny bitches that needlessly drag out a scene. Yeah, you're pissed, Eren, TRANSFORM AND RIP SOME LIMBS OFF INSTEAD OF FINDING EXTRA MOTIVATION TO DO SO! Armin, get some self-esteem already!
  2. So far I have Transformers: Prime for it. Currently borrowing some of my brother's games like Wind Waker. I recently have been working with a temp agency I worked with before again, and the cons are outweighing the pros in this job. My university professors stressed the importance of punctuality, and the work team I'm with has no sense of punctuality. Even the team lead isn't there 70% of the time and is usually late. My coworkers are great to talk to and work with, but when their late all of us get into trouble. I've been applying at other places and I'm hoping to get a better job some time before I start school again in the fall (got accepted into a local, public university recently). On another note, I got complimented the other day. Last week I bought a romper from one of my favorite stores called Romancing the Stone. Three days ago I'm wearing the romper while walking around the mall with my stepmom. We go into the store I bought the romper from, and both associates on duty came up to me and said I looked adorable in it. Got one heck of a confidence boost that day and more reason to love that store.
  3. No, Barcas going to Sihla and pissing of Alkanphel was before the attack on the mansion. A lot has happened since then.
  4. I guess you could pick up with chapter 1310 with Sin and Barcas discussing events. I'm not sure which exact chapter you left off of, so I'm just guessing the next best place for you pick up
  5. Sunday, I got to be an all out girl with my step-sisters by going shopping! One of them is pregnant, so the two of us that weren't decided to spoil her and buy her a whole mess of maternity clothes since her boyfriend is a deadbeat....(truthfully, when I went to her house and looked at her wardrobe, every fiber of my being said, "Oh hell no! This shall not continue!" and I told her outright I was going to buy her as much as she needed). My sister and I had waaay too much fun dressing her up like a Barbie doll, but it was worth it. We picked out a bunch of clothes for her and left the mall with three bags worth of clothes. She was extremely happy when we got home and showed off her spoils to her mom. Today, I relented and bought a Wii U after getting my university transcript. Wished they had more colors options, but whatever, it'll entertain me on my down days.
  6. Well, my dog was mad at me for a good part of the day. I had to shave his belly to get a whole mess of ticks off of him and he refused to let me shave the rest of him. He laid down in his little bed and pouted for a while. Other than that, I've been reading up on I Ching divination. It's a rather interesting bit of Chinese culture.
  7. I finally got Volume 31 of Guyver! Now, to save some cash for 32 when it comes out.
  8. I have noticed throughout my life that certain people thrive on drama or just stirring up crap for the hell of it. My family has a policy: do not cause drama in the house on purpose. The reason: my ex-stepmother and the BS we went through with her and her kids. She would pick fights with my dad for no reason, and even brought up events that happened months ago that no one cares about anymore. Every time my brother and I got something new, she'd throw a fit or spend bookoos of cash to get her kids something even better than what we got. At one point, we couldn't even get snack items without her taking them and either stashing them herself or giving them to her kids. After I finally snapped (something I don't want to do again unless needed) and Dad divorced her, we all agreed to keep the house and family events drama free as much as possible. The only places we can't avoid this is the work place or at school. As I said, certain people seem to thrive on drama. They will throw monkey wrenches into situations that cause full blown arguments or just piss people off. It's like these people are addicted to stirring the pot and getting a reaction out of someone(s) like a pot head is addicted to pot. Is all this drama really necessary? Can drama be addicting like a drug? Or are the people that cause it just buttheads?
  9. Thanks guys! Well, I plan on getting a summer job before taking some digital design classes at the local public university, then I plan on getting a job in graphic/webpage design.
  10. I have finally graduated from University with a Bachelor's degree in Art! Now, to kick back, break out the berry wine, and relax for a few days.
  11. I think we need to make a thread of places where the Guyver manga can be purchased for fellow Guyver fans looking into purchasing the series or whatnot. I just spent $40+ on eBay getting just two volumes (as an artist that's a huge cut into my paycheck). If you guys know of any places that sell the manga or series products (legally) please post a comment so it can be added to the list. Online: Guyver Advocadcy- they get the manga for you, but take a bit of time. eBay Amazon Yesasia Physical places: Kinokuniya (San Fransisco, LA, Chicago)- last checked to have the Chinese volumes, not Japanese.
  12. Well Jupiter, let me formally welcome you to the site. I am River of Chaos, aka RC (no, not like Transformers Prime Arcee). I'm an artist that was born with a mild form of Autism, though I ended up getting the much needed help after fighting with my school district to receive said help. I have learned to live with it and am now about to graduate from college. I love a good anime with an excellent story line. I have a decent collection of manga and all sorts of books. I first got into anime from watching Sailor Moon as a young child, and from there my obsession grew. In the video games department I tend to stick with Nintendo consoles, but there are a few PS and Xbox games I'll occasionally play. My favorites so far are: Legend of Zelda OoT, Pokémon, Halo, Gears of War, Harvest Moon, and Sonic the Hedgehog. I am also a crafts woman that weaves, crochets, and knits. Overall I'm a nerd from an extremely nerdy family.
  13. It's almost graduation time for me, and I'M READY TO GET THIS OVER WITH!! High school graduation wasn't nearly as stressful as this! On another note, I was browsing through Etsy today and came across a kimono inspired by Harley Quinn's costume. It actually looks good, and the same shop sells a Pikachu kimono too. (I was going to post the link to said kimono, but it's not letting me do it for some odd reason.)
  14. I wouldn't mind knowing where the heck Imakarum is either. Last we saw him was when Barcas visited the temple; and that just put a weird question into my head: What would happen if Barcas visited the island and saw what was going on?
  15. Okay, that was good! Thanks for sharing!
  16. On Spring Break and already pulling ticks off my dogs. At least the powder I bought back in December works; they're not as infested as last year. On another note: I have taken up the Pokémon card game online. The rules are surprisingly straightforward and easy to get a hang of after a few battles. It's much easier than Yu-Gi-Oh, but then again it was made for kids 10 years an up in mind.
  17. Yesterday, the entire University got hit with tragedy. One of our students was killed in a car accident yesterday morning. Everyone on campus is mourning; it's unnaturally quiet here in the dorms while I'm typing this now. I didn't know the guy as well as I should have, but I knew he was a contagious optimist where ever he went. He was in my department (art) and had a lot going for him. R.I.P. buddy
  18. Knitted stuff. My shop is the Knitted River Market.
  19. Yay!! A fellow Etsyian!
  20. That really doesn't make much sense since we've seen him communicate in Japanese before. Why switch languages now?
  21. Fellow nerds, it has been brought to my attention that the original Spock of the Star Trek series has passed away RIP Mr. Nemoy
  22. So got a message from my mom this morning saying how she wasn't amused with my recent purchases at Hobby Lobby and an online bookstore. She put money in my account to put towards tuition, but the demand for art supplies (nerd club is trying to be more active in events and is asking all of use crafty members to make things for the big events) and trying to better preserve my First Communion Bible kinda put a damper in that until Thursday when I get paid. I guess I should probably tell her that I got over an hour's worth of over time two weeks ago when the flu hit most of the campus hard for several days and we were short staffed that week, so that's another $50 to my paycheck that can go towards tuition this month. I'm still upset that I made her upset though. I hate disappointing my family
  23. Hello, and welcome back
  24. Got the new Majora's Mask remake for the 3DS today. I. Love. It! The graphics are brighter, Clock Town is more spread out, the bosses are harder to kill (already went through Woodfall Temple and my neighbors heard me say "Die already, you rat bastard" for over thirty minutes when fighting the boss), and saving the game is a hell of a lot easier than in the original. There have been tweaks added to the story line, such as more information being given as you progress through the game, but they're more like patches to plot holes or just things for people that don't crack open the manual. Sound effects and music are much clearer in the game, so players can more enjoy the soundtrack as they journey through Termina. While I'm not a big fan of remakes, I can't help but fall in love again with the Legend of Zelda when this remake is perfectly executed like this. I would highly recommend this to any Zelda fan out there, or for those looking for a good RPG.
  25. So, the Pokémon Company released "official" images of a speculated Mythical Pokémon named Hoopa, which was mentioned a few times in Pokémon X/Y yet was never released. I honestly had no idea this Pokémon existed until the announcement (just thought it was just something random in the game), but now after digging around the Pokémon community I found that the coding for Hoopa exists in X/Y and people have been hacking the game to get the Pokémon in their party. Why they waited to reveal Hoopa after the release of Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, I have no idea unless they were planning to releasing it along with the movie it's going to star in later this year. It would explain a few things when it comes to catching certain legendary Pokémon in the game.
