Easy ZT, Mecha is still finalizing the setup of the site. From what I understand It'll break into two parts, the main site for gaming news and reviews and a discussion board forum for everyone to discuss whatever they want, with the main theme being games of course. Right now the message board is working and he's just working on the main site which is all but setup except for some minor last minute bug issues. The theme of the site is that it is a gamers site made by gamers so the reviews would come from ordinary players who volunteer their time. So there won't be any capalistic bias in the reviews and virtually anyone can participate. It's not a business site, it's more a personal fan site like the WG.com is. As to what the site can offer you, would depend who decides to help out with the site.

Actually that's usually covered too unless it is an extremely powerful wormhole.

I believe in god, I have my reasons as I've experienced certain things in my life that lead me to believe this, but I don't believe in religion since it is too open to interpretation as People can use it to justify just about any action and often do.

Okay, this'll be a long winded explaination just to clarify! The Unit that Alkanphel uses in the WG fan fiction is not an actual unit. It is only a partial unit, since its construction was never completed. Basically it's missing parts and only has the basic structure of a unit but not all the abilities and functions of a unit. Alkanphel decided to bond to it because it would not make him into a Guyver, something he would not want as that is the reasons the Creators left and abandoned him. And because despite it being barely functional it would still help regenerate him and return him to his original full power before the Creators impaired him. Essentially it is only one step above the Bio-Armor upgrade given to Kron. So aside from some additional perks Alkanphel is still Alkanphel, which is why he's called Warrior Alkanphel instead of WG Alkanphel. But Alkanphel already has a wide range of abilities and with his full power returned to him means he is once again the most powerful steady character in the WG fan fiction. Though what will happen to him once he emerges from that cocoon is another question

Sorry, no comment. Clarification: They are prototype units. Just like the WG prototypes they have certain similar abilities but they aren't the final type of unit. So there are no Black Nova Guyver Assassinoids!!! Only Guyver Assassinoids created from earlier prototype units from the Black Nova Relic. Calling them Black Nova Guyver's would be like calling Battle Guyver a WG.

Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers
zeo replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Thor is a demi-god and virtually immortal. All those who have possessed his power have been similarly enhanced and could do things like fly through space, etc. So cosmic radiation was never a problem and Thor has been hit by energy beams with little to no effect. Not to mention Mjolnir can also be used as a shield. So a Neutron bomb would probably be useless on him too. But the Human Thor's did have one weakness. Seperate them for more than a minute from Mjolnir and they revert to their human form. -

The Hulk can withstand any type of radiation, even Gamma radiation which is the strongest type. Mainly because he can absorb it like a sponge. A Neutron Bomb is basically a radiation bomb, which is why it can destroy organic material. But just like Godzilla that just makes the Hulk stronger. Really, the Hulk is an example of an insanely powerful character. -
Nanotechnology may help heal the body

Yeah, lots of surprising things they are discovering. Like recently they discovered they were wrong about cell death after 5 minutes of no heart beat. Turns out after a certain period of time, it's the oxygen influx that kills. Basically the same thing that tells a cell to die when it detects cancer also can be triggered by a sudden influx of oxygen after a period of inactivity. In actuallity if they didn't pump the patient full of oxygen when they try to resuccitate then the cells of the body can survive hours before the point of no return. So right now they are researching ways to resuccitate that avoid this by slowly re-introducing oxygen to the patient, along with inducing hypothermia to slow metabolism and reduce the shock to the system. Which means you don't need to have been frozen in an ice cold lake to be resuccitate after an hour. IOW, the 5 minute limit will soon no longer be the limit. -

Well that depends on which version of the Hulk you are referring since more than one version had Banner's genius intellect. -

Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers

True, the Hulk is one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe but he does have his weaknesses. Aside from his numerous psychological problems, which have changed over the years. The Hulk is still based on a human body. So he has limits like he still needs to breath, though his power does allow him to hold his breath for up to 2 hours. And his power is based on Gamma energy, so his metabolism is a bit like an atomic furnace. So in addition to his own energy generation he can also absorb ambient radiation to increase his power. But this also means he can also be drained of energy as has been shown in the past. The X-Men Havok once nearly defeated the Hulk by absorbing his gamma energy and then firing it back at him all at once. Fortunately for the Hulk that was a bit like fighting fire with fire so he survived it since he re-absorbed most of the energy. It also takes time for the Hulk to get mad. So a sufficiently powerful opponent can defeat the Hulk if they defeat him before he gets a chance to get mad. In the Marvel vs DC mini-series Superman defeated the Hulk that way by just going full out and knocking him out before he could get mad enough to be a problem. Course not too many characters can dish it out like Superman can but if they catch the Hulk when he's relatively calm then there is a chance. The Hulk's rate of regeneration is also proportional to how mad he is. So it is conceivable for Dreadnought to win with the Matrix Bomb by just teleporting in while the Hulk is still calm and vaporizing him before he could even blink. But of course since the Matrix Bomb is a 100 Gigaton explosion of energy that he would pretty much assure the extinction of all life on Earth so that would probably not be his first choice. Dreadnought might be better off draining off the Hulk's gamma energy and then use a non-radiation type weapon to finish the Hulk off. But he would have to be fast as the madder the Hulk gets the faster he generates energy. Course not even the Hulk can survive a Black Hole and Dreadnought can teleport the Hulk just about anywhere Or just turn the oxygen in the Hulk's body into something less useful with a little molecular manipulation There are many possibilities. It's just in a straight fair fight there is no way to defeat the Hulk. -

No Marvel power scale goes as follows Level 1 = normal strength (can lift own weight or less) Level 2 = peak (can lift own weight up to 800 pounds) Level 3 = enhanced (can lift 800 pounds to 2 ton range) Level 4 = 2 to 10 ton range, characters like Spiderman are in peak end of this range. Level 5 (Class 50) = 10 to 50 ton range, characters like Marvel Girl, etc. Level 6 (Class 100) = 50 to 100 ton range, characters like the Thing, Colossus, etc are in this range. Then there class 7 which is 100 tons to infinite range. Thor, the Hulk, Hercules, and Silver Surfer are all in this last class. The Hulks base strength level (when he's calm) starts at 100 tons. As he gets madder the stronger he becomes. Remember the Hulk can break Adamantium when he's enraged enough and Adamantium is virtually unbreakable. Only the Grey Hulk was below 100 tons in starting strength. And as for Thor, as a demi-god his power is such that he doesn't need much more than brute power. Besides which Many of Thor's enemies are more powerful than even a Guyver Zoalord. -

Yup, in a fair fight the Hulk would most likely win. But who said Zeus would fight fair. For example the Hulk can only hold his breath for about 2 hours. So all Zeus really has to do is teleport him into deep space and wait 2 hours Yes, Thor has the strength of a Demi-God so is basically as strong as the modern version of Superman (John Byrne created version in which they lowered his strength to being able to lift mountains instead of planets). Ditto with Hercules and others with stated god like strength. Yes the Mega Smashers are actually around 10 kilotons in power. Weltall2 is just thinking of the old power scale for the smashers before we did the math and found out it actually needs 10 kilotons of energy to vaporize a small army of zoanoids. The 500 tons was a rough estimate according to the stated power of the Mega Smasher being able to destroy a skyscraper and because the anime led us to believe the beam duration was a lot longer than a one second blast as the new anime now shows the duration actually is. We were just being conservative with what little we knew back when we first started this site. Just like we originally only estimated the Gigantic as only 2x a Guyver because we had never seen it demonstrate anything truly spectacular. But we now know the Gigantic is a lot more powerful. Which is part of the reason why we are doing the Chronicle story line as what we know has changed a lot since the fan fic first started. And you guys are both right. The Guyver would easily handle many of the Marvel characters but it is also true even the less powerful characters have abilities that could challenge even a Guyver. Mutants for example, someone like Colossus is easily 2x as strong as a Guyver and equally if not more durable. Cyclops, optic blast may not be as powerful as a Mega Smash but they are more powerful than Pressure Cannons and he can fire optic blasts a lot faster and more accurately. Banshee could actually knock out a Guyver due to their vulnerability to sonics. Night Crawlers teleporting ability would allow him to get to the Guyver before the Hyper Sensors can warn the host. So can do things like plant bombs and teleport away or grab the Guyver and teleport it to somewhere dangerous. And if Jean Grey was ruthless enough she could just read Tetsuro's mind, find the Guyver's vulnerability and telekinetically rip out the Guyver's CM from a safe distance. And of course the X-Men would work as a team so even though the Guyver may have a chance with each of them. Together they will take the Guyver down every time. -

This is a common problem with estimation as many people think of man power in terms of normal everyday average human strength. But most sci-fi and comics like Marvel rate man power in terms of peak human potential. Which is basically the ability to raise up to 800 pounds over one's head with arms fully extended. Of course that's one of the hardest positions to raise a weight. Strong man contest for examples regularly have contestants just carry 800 pounds at waist level up a short ramp. Which is an easier way to carry such a weight. Examples of how this rating is used is the Six Million Dollar Man, who having the strength of 5 men could move a mass of up to 2 tons. Which translates to 800 pounds per man. Marvel comics regularly use that figure as well. Then we have the Guyver, with scenes like in the first anime OAV showing Malmut smashing a truck into the road. Considering the average mass of a truck and that Malmut was only rated at 12 men, means the Guyver series too measures man power in the peak range. Combine this with the fact the Guyvers have all demonstrated equivalent strength levels despite having very different levels of physical training means we can safely say a Guyver has peak human strength times 100. Or at least the peak potential of the host as height, weight and leverage still count and are still different for each host. But they should all be close to a peak of 40 tons, give or take a ton or two. -
A new scientific question.....

Basically think of the body shield like the WG's immune system. Since the shield is always active it is optimized to use the least amount of energy to get the job done. If it was at full power all the time then WG wouldn't be able to touch anything for example. Another example is the body shield will stop a railgun (near light speed projectile weapon) bullet but won't stop a regular bullet because it poses no threat to a WG armor. So a threat has to be recognized and then countered. But it's the Body Shield that allows the WG to adapt to biological attacks so after the first attack the unit adapted the shield to neutralize the acid at the moment of contact. Thus making the WG immune to the Enzyme Acid. It was also the body shield that kept WG together after the Bio-Titan had blown him nearly in half. And it is the body shield that the cloak, power wave, and similar abilities are derived from. -

That would be a good trick since he doesn't have any dimensional manipulation technology. Though if he gets his hands on some advance alien technology that could become a possibility. Sorry I'm a WG writer, we don't have Mark I or Mark II units Depends how much of it he could channel, like his normal armor maxes out at class 100. More energy wouldn't change that so it still depends on which armor he uses in the fight. But having unlimited power is the same like a WG. He would be able to use full power for every single attack so long as he doesn't burn out his armor with a power overload. For example the Hulk Buster is a kamikazi armor designed to absorb gamma radiation and go critical and explode to take out the Hulk. It would make it possible for IronMan to block even the Mega Smashers since they can be deflected by a powerful electromagnetic field. Different type of energy, so it wouldn't counter the swords by frequency but it could just deflect the swords with raw energy like Prug'stal did to protect himself while the Gigantic tried to punch him to a pulp. But it depends how far away from his body the field extended as the swords would penetrate to a certain depth before being deflected. But using the Thor power source would be the same as the Guyver going Gigantic. So two can play that game But one thing you are forgetting is IronMan can remotely operate his other armors at the same time so he may be out matched by the Gigantic he could still try to win by shear numbers. Not to mention some well placed tactical missiles he can *cough* borrow from the military and if out in the middle of nowhere maybe a nuke which could be powerful enough to knock out the Gigantic's shields like Prug'stalls massive lightning barrage did. -

We don't really know what the CM is made of, it is only called a metal because it looks metallic but there are non-metal elements that look metallic as well. Also in the live action movie, though not cannonical it still had Takaya giving his opinions to the writers, the Chronos Scientist said the CM was made of both organic and inorganic elements. What we do know is the CM is made up of different components, which includes crystals which allow it to communicate through the boost dimension. Unless the CM is a brain upon itself, remember even if the host brain is ripped out the Unit will continue to function to defend itself. There is also the Guyver Organism which may contain its own level of intelligence. Also just like Stark's technology the CM is augmented by the host brain as well, which is what allows it to recognize friend from foe and do things like vaporize a bullet before it hits Tetsuro. Because that is self evident, it's an example of nanite technology. It just appears like liquid but it is actually millions of tiny machines which is how it can regenerate him so quickly as they re-assemble him at a molecular level. But the CM is based on organic technology, unlike Ultimo who was ultimately just a robot. The Guyver is alive, even without its host. It's a hell of a lot more powerful than any of IronMan's weapons. And the Guyver can choose to use one cell at a time so can fire up to twice. Though the one time limit was mainly introduced in the new anime series as previously it was linked to the Guyver's general energy level, but in either case the Guyver can recharge as well, since it is constantly drawing energy from the boost dimension, and only needs some time before they can fire the Smashers again. Sooner if they only fired one Smasher. But if given time the Guyver can also instant recharge if the host can find a moment to deactivate and then reactivate the armor. Sho did that in the Manga and was back to full power instantly, even the damage to his armor was instantly regenerated. Though of course he was vulnerable for that period of time. So he faked being unconscious. There is no question Stark is a technical genius and his armor augments him even further but the Guyver is completely alien to anything he has ever encountered before and the questions remains if the CM is even hackable. Remember the closest Stark has to something as advance as a CM is H.O.M.E.R., a computer so powerful it nears the capacity of a human brain, and not even that is portable. And also remember all the things he has hacked such as cellphones and satellites is nothing compared to a CM. Even the most powerful computer in the world is still dummer than an Ant. As for IronMan's Reflexes, Spiderman can still outdraw him and the Guyver is close to Spiderman level reflexes. Calling the Gigantic also instantly regenerates the host armor as well. But that's all besides the fact onto whether IronMan can beat a Guyver. IronMan may not be able to hack a Guyver but fight one is another story. A Guyver has vulnerabilities like Sonics can paralyze and even knock out a Guyver. A direct electrical discharge into the CM can zap the host brain and knock them out and cause the unit to auto-deactivate. Two things in which Stark could easily pick up on and use in the fight. On the Guyver side though, vibrational swords will easily slice through IronMan armor unless he's using a shield. The Pressure Cannon easily rivals the Repulsors at full power. Though the head beam may be useless but similarly the head beam isn't hot enough to effect the Guyver much either. The Guyver is also extremely hard to damage. The sonic blasts Sho withstood in the anime for example are rated to equal the firepower of several tanks firing at the same time. And Sho took quite a lot of hits with no visible damage. He just got knocked around a lot so there is the question of whether IronMan can even Harm a Guyver without resorting to the noted Guyver vulnerabilities. Though as I stated before IronMan is physically stronger, but not even the Hulk Buster can match the Gigantic and we don't know if the vulnerabilities of the Guyver extends to the Gigantic as well. Btw, a Guyver boosts 100x host potential. For example dispite the difference in physical conditioning each of the three Guyver were near each other in strength. We also have the scale upon which the zoanoids are measured by like Malmot is rated at 12 men yet could smash a small truck that easily weighed over 4 tons. This basically means that instead of your 200 pound estimate it is actually closer to 800 pounds which puts the Guyver's maximum strength at 40 ton range. So IronMan at 90 will be more than twice as strong but he maxes out at 100 tons, not counting how strong the Hulk Buster armor is. While the Gigantic is at least 5 times stronger with 20x more power. But either way, it would be an awesome battle. -

The Regeneration from the CM only took 11 hours before it started, once it started it only took minutes for the CM to regenerate the Whole Body! And as you pointed out Wolverine had a lot more than a CM to work with. And we can be pretty sure the CM is more advance than Ultimo. Besides the Gigantic can grow to Giant size too. The main thing is a Guyver's strength maxes out at about 40 tons. But then again the Gigantic is 20x more powerful. So if IronMan amps up so can the Guyver. -
