  1. A pretty good idea but I've barely had time to get the Data Files to where they are now and they're not even complete. So how about this, any fan who is interested can write a blog using the site's calendar for timeline reference about any events or subjects that interest them and if it fits the fan fic we'll officially post them with the authors name just like a Newspaper editorial. What do you guys think?
  2. You basically got it right Juggernought ... Misconception, humans were not just kept in captivity by the Creators. They had to prove themselves as being warriors and suited to being the weapons the Creators needed, which mean they fought everything from Dinosaurs, to fellow humans on through to zoanoids. And the one human trait that sets us apart from all other life on Earth is our brains. The Creators didn't zoaform humans until after they had already chosen us to be their weapons of choice. Zoaforming was just their way of giving us the physical tools to go along with our brains. Like giving a soldier a gun, doesn't do much good unless you train them first. Correction, a modern human would have little chance, most of us don't even run a mile or lift more than our own weight. But ancient humans would have all been like Tarzan, able to run for miles even while carrying their own weight in supplies, etc. In fact it has been shown early hunters basically ran down their prey with marathon running that the other animals simply couldn't handle. Also Faye was an outcast from the other humans (reasons will be better explained in Chronicles), which is why Jason found her by herself and why she has been so loyal to him. So she had to prove herself all on her own back then, which means she had to be deadly. Violent yes, but predictable not so much. Aside from consistently choosing a violent method of solving a situation that is. Even Jason doesn't know what she will do all the time. Agito is a tactician but once you take into account his ruthless nature then he becomes quite predictable. Faye on the other hand follows instincts and a mind set we're not use to so she isn't always predictable. And lets remember there is a difference between fighting and war. Faye is better at fighting while Agito is better at war. Basically put, putting Faye and Agito in the same room without their Units would be like putting a modern man in a room with a lioness.
  3. No, Wynd hasn't evolved and the power of the Stone/Crystals isn't biological in origin, but you're getting warmer.
  4. Actually sounds like Marvel Comics two versions of Adam Warlock. The Magus being the bad Anubis and the Goddess being the good Anubis. Both ultimately would have destroyed the universe, which goes to the whole ying and yang balance thing that without balance everything goes to hell concept. Which is a theme in most comics, even Superman needs Clark Kent to keep Superman from becoming a monster. Anubis just has nothing to compare what he is doing to to know it's wrong.
  5. Unless of course they steal an idea from Stargate SG1 and put a time dilation device on a planet and fast forward it so 20 years happens in 20 seconds normal time. Add the ability of WG units to work together, and their ability to analyze battle scenarios multiplied by the number of units working together and I think they can make a dent. I'll be like a swarm of Guyver ants engulging the OOA Actually no, the exact opposite really. W'Kar units are survivors but they don't really adapt anymore than any other Guyver unit does. They can evolve but that takes time. So any adapting of W'Kar usually just comes about from the skills of the host in using their abilities. Everything a W'Kar has ever done has always been within the range of their given abilities. Take for example if you remove the W'Kars energy manipulating and draining power then you pretty much take away his ability to adapt. W'Kar for example could not adapt to his vulnerability to extreme hot and cold until he evolved for example. WG on the other hand are more like the W'Kar reproductions units and have advance use of dimensional technology, not to mention the ability to adapt like the Borg. WG unit's just don't normally handle as much energy at one time as W'Kar units can since they are still basically Guyver units, unlike the W'Kars which perminently bond with their host and perminently alter them. The W'Kar element is multi-dimensional, but that isn't from technology! It's just a fact of what it is, while the Reproductions are limited to technology like the Hyper Space orbs, etc. So it would be interesting to see how the WG dimensional technology, which is the source of everything from the blast shield to gravity shield, as well as the CPM and auto escape to hyperspace, abilities, would work with the W'Kar's. Remember the HSL is the Hyper Space Link power system as well, and thus dimensional based, how that would deal with the W'Kar element could possibly for example augment the W'Kar's energy handling ability even further than any previous W'Kar unit has achieved. Not to mention provide a way to directly feed the W'Kar element dimensional energy. After all lets not forget the Apothecary Unit! At the very least the increased efficiency would help make sure the host doesn't get overloaded and explode like the original host for the W'Kar unit did, since that is one of the built in functions of the HSL as a power regulator. In fact it may make the host even more powerful since the HSL scales up to whatever the host can handle and a W'Kar host can handle for more than a normal host. The direct brain interface of the Warrior CM technology also augments the host mental abilities and perception, which could help make a W'Kar host more stable. So you see there is much that could happen, after all the abilities of the Reproductions all come about from improved technology despite the lack of actual W'Kar elements in those units, but of course that depends on whether the W'Kar unit accepts the WG technology any more than it would MKII or whether it would produce any mutations. Like what happened to Greg's Brother's W'Kar unit when it was given MKII, though less likely with a fully functioning W'Kar unit it is still a possibility.
  6. His data file describes all his abilities... Part of which is derived from one of the three stones he was given and the rest are just amplification of aspects of his power by the other two stones. You could quantify them as... 1) Storm... 2) Power... 3) Strength... Combined they turned him from a Elite Zoalord to Master Zoalord level power, though note he is still an Elite and only has Elite level telepathy. Prior to absorbing these three stones he was basically like Guyot. So you can figure what abilities the stones granted him
  7. Well you can safely cross Tonnin off that list, not exactly the covert type anyway
  8. Indeed, despite the fact WG2 was both faster and stronger than Nova Blaze as well. Not to mention the WG natural combat enhancement as it augments host combat skills and reaction time practically gave Stephen a 2 to 1 advantage and Sai still held his own until he got exhausted. But that's part of why Stephen was impressed with Sai afterward and didn't take advantage of him at that point. Well no sense aside from eliminating her as one of Sean's vulnerabilities, so he can concentrate on fighting for the ACTF, and ensuring the safely of the one person on Earth who knew more about the Creators than anyone else outside of Chronos. Besides which the Battle Unit is primarily a defensive type, so fits VIP Cori So militarily it was a tactical choice, especially with the new Grakken threat revealing itself, that not only protected an asset but also made it possible to bring her skills to the forefront whenever the ACTF would be faced with something alien.
  9. Getting colder Btw, Wynd's power actually varies. So can go from completely human to the examples already described, this is because of the nature of the particular power he gained from that stone. Hint, the abilities he has shown are just side effects of the one power he has gained.
  10. Hmm, yes it would be interesting to see how the W'Kar unit would handle the WG dimensional technology and rapid adaptability?
  11. Well, let's consider the characters in a little more detail... More like Punisher like training, remember two things he lost his entire family on X-Day and he was not only slated to be the host of the Warrior Guyver but also was the protector and liason for Guyver US before he became WG. Special Ops is a good guess, though after X-Day only special ops would do for a normal soldier to stand a chance against zoanoids. However, aside from proving himself and patriotism he never had as strong motivation as Jason and Agito had. And we do have examples of WG2 fighting other characters like Nova Blaze for comparison. Definitely a bad ass fighter but most of that comes from his cold hearted ruthlessness. He's more a tactician than a fighter for example. Even though he is highly trained and his motivation is driven by revenge similar to Jason. Agito however has never shown the heart that Jason and Sho have shown in battle. Also remember he was still a teenager when he became Guyver 3 so most of his training wasn't yet for preparation for some Chronos position but rather because of the resources his elite position granted him access to. Chronos wasn't really considering him yet until after he betrayed his adopted father for any real position. But shortly after that he was revealed to be G3. Yes, though skill levels may vary mercs, especially those still operating after X-Day had to be damn good or extremely lucky. This is an interesting case because Lorcan, as WG5, also has access to Jason's memories and thus also Jason's training on top of his own. Though inversely this could also be against him, in terms of how it could also confuse him. Well, aside from any training he has received since becoming a Guyver. She's a fighter though and it's not like Jason hasn't taught her any moves. Actually trained from birth to be a warrior and is in better physical conditioning than any other character in the story. Think a cross between Tarzan and the Punisher. Still just a basic zoanoid type, which chronos considers expendable and is a firepower type so never really considered for hand to hand. This means it is little more than a weapon and would only have basic training in combat. In otherwords a grunt foot soldier with a really big gun to play with.
  12. Safe to say that's not going to happen! Even if it may appear that way in the present story arc, there's a lot more planned than just simple balance of power.
  13. Well, I can tell you they aren't from the Clan ship Though that should be no secret since they started being found before the Clan ship crashed and none are in the Clan Ship crash site area.
  14. Aranor is correct, the human brain doesn't really perceive anything outside of an eternal present. Our sense of past is limited just to memory of the past and our sense of future is even more limited to little more than imagination. In fact it is really hard to really emphasis how limited human perception of time really is as it would be for a fellow blind man to explain to other blind men what it would be like to see. There really aren't appropriate words to properly describe the gulf between what we perceive and what a true perception of time encompasses. But let's clarify some facts of the character... Nope, haven't overlooked that at all. Point of fact is Jason's brain is exactly the same as it was before he bonded to the Unit. You're just confusing how the unit augments him via the link his mind has with the Unit and the Matrix. Remember we have said repeatedly Jason will not allow himself to be perminently altered. So all the so called funky Matrix Powers is because the Matrix is linked to him so it responds to his commands directly. Jason himself has not be altered outside of that link and implanting of Unit and Matrix elements into his body. In otherwords Jason's abilities are technological, not biological based. Again this does not solve the problem that doing that filters/censors the information, making such an ability little better than just looking at a recording of the events of that day. And quantum wormholes could very well effect the past by their very presence never mind that they may instead be diverted to a parallel reality in which case the information gained by that method would be useless. Which again leaves you with filtering and censoring of information. Never mind you forget the same safety protocols could very well prevent Jason from properly using that ability for the exact reason his mind could not properly handle it. Leaving all the information it does provide him suspect or at the very best limited. Remember, Dreadnought's abilities may be amazing but by no means was he ever intended to be a god character. So true omniponence is not one of his powers. Again, this is not to say he couldn't do something like this just that don't expect much from it. Hell, even the psychic guy on the Deadzone TV series doesn't get all the clues in one sitting either.
  15. Sorry, I'm a strong believer in human potential too, but none of those examples shows a single person's brain doing anything it doesn't do for all of us. Even if we ignore the serious mental handicaps such examples also show, people like real Rainman for example only really show someone with a type of super memory. But memory is just something our brains were designed to use. It's not a demonstration of any trait that would let us process information that we didn't evolve the capability to do so. Simply put, perceiving time outside of the normal parameters we are use to is not something the brain was designed to ever do. Thus having something like super memory will not solve that problem. For example it is impossible for anyone to have more than one line of thought at a time. Consequently, anyone who multi-tasks is only splitting up their perception among multuple tasks and thus doesn't fully pay attention to any one of them. So even using 100% of brain power will not change that limitation. In fact scans of the brain shows the more we concentrate on a problem the less we are consciously aware as our brain diverts resources to solve the problem. Our brains still have quite a way to evolve yet before we can truly start comprehending the true mysteries of the universe. Hell, most people have trouble just thinking in 3D. While any concept of true time involves 4D or more. Really, the only way the human mind could handle temporal perception is if it is kept in a linear and finite format. Anything involving true interactions of time, like movement and interaction through 3D space like complexity, would be totally beyond our brain's ability to comprehend except in abstract terms. Idea's like parallel realities and alternate timelines is just the tip of the iceburg when dealing with non-linear time and infinite time concepts. For perspective on our mental capabilities lets look how far we have come, for example recent genetic evidence not only indicates our brains are still evolving but that the last two big changes in that evolution coincided with significant changes in how we think. The first showing up just after modern humans showed up and coincides with the development of agriculture and the next genetic change occured about 5000 years ago, coinciding with the development of modern civilization. But our brains, like our bodies were designed for our survival. Like the ability to see color lets us tell what is safe to eat, language developed so we could work together, etc. So we have come a long way from our primitive ancestors but just because we have started to scratch the surface of cosmic truths doesn't mean we are yet evolved enough to handle it all. As it is we are pushing the limits of the brains we are presently stuck with. Really, it's not just a matter of unlocking the brain's potential but also how our brains are designed to work. The way we think and process information is hardwired into the very shape and design of our brains. This was the point about scientist developing machines that will one day be able to read our thoughts. The way our brains work are so similar, despite the differences in personality, that information can be drawn from it because we basically store and process information in the exact same way. Thus providing machines with a set pattern that will allow them to decode our brains signals and literally see what we are thinking about. So just using more of the same will not let us do things that the brain isn't yet designed to handle. Like the old saying goes, there is a difference between wisdom and knowledge. Having all the knowledge in the world does not a wise man make!
  16. Since I have insider knowledge I'll wait till everyone else posts before revealing my vote.
  17. Possibly but unfortunately there is no detailed information on the Ark's design, so it's all speculation at this point.
  18. One miracle at a time We can't all be F-15 pilots who can land with one wing Boy, can those take a beating. Anyway, someone can do the audio book first and have someone CG it later.
  19. Well just goes to show the fan base has a fair age range. I'm 33 myself
  20. Fair enough point but I have to point out that still doesn't solve the perception limitation of a human mind, whether we use 10% or 100% of our brain's capacity doesn't matter if our brain isn't designed to process that sort of information. Remember our brains are the result of evolution and as such, just like our body, it performs certain tasks well and others not so well. In fact recent studies have shown that our brains follow a fairly set pattern, which is so similar among us that it may be possible some day to have a machine read our minds. On the other hand, the Warrior Unit CM does have a more rebust interface with the host brain than a standard unit's. In fact it could be seen as an extension of the host mind. So you could have the Matrix augment to some extent Jason's mental capabilities. But only while in Armor and he may not retain the information in its entirety in his human form.
  21. zeo

    Any Idea?

I would say over analyzing, Chronos has already shown several armor forms for the Zoalords that had more to do with style and message than actual functionality. Both Guyot and Imakarum for example did not demonstrate their full power until their armor had been destroyed first for example. So if anything the armored form should be symbolic of something the character represents.
  22. The Gigantic both goes over the host Unit and Merges with it just like the host Unit merges with the host. So just like with host and the unit merger, the host unit becomes part of the Gigantic. The actual process of Bio-Boosting involves infusing the Unit and host with energy from the Boost Dimension upon activation. The Gigantic does this as well and thanks to its greater mass geting infused with a lot more power. But the Gigantic also has power amps which further amplify its power. This is similar to the normal Guyver in that the normal Guyver maintains its power with a constant infusion of energy from the Boost Dimension, which is siphoned from the boost dimension and thus the Guyver never really runs out of energy or needs to eat. A Guyver only gets tired if damaged or if they use up energy faster than it gets siphoned, such as with the use of the Mega Smashers. The Gigantic can siphon even more energy, which combined with its greater Bio-Boost capacity means it has 20x the raw power of a Guyver. Mind you this doesn't mean it has 20x strength, just 20x power. The Punch for example is not backed by raw strength but rather by the Unit's power focused into the punch. Btw, we use to call it the Power Punch before the translations revealed that it is actually called the Gravity Knuckles attack. But the Gigantic does have its limits as well, which is why it will collapse shortly after using the Giga Smashers, which are 100x a normal Smasher, as it uses up too much energy for the Gigantic to maintain itself. Incidently this also means it takes longer for the Gigantic to recharge versus a standard unit and thus must remain in the boost dimension for significant periods of time in order to fully restore itself. Though simply passing the Gigantic to another Guyver puts it in the Boost Dimension long enough to instantly fully regenerate the Gigantic from any and all damage, it must stay there a bit for it to fully recharge. Now as to those pods, I'm not sure but the data files do indicate the Ark has Relic like shuttle pods to transport personnel back and forth from the planet. These pods are not self sufficient though, being alive, and must return to the Ark to be maintain and fully fueled or they will die. Depending on the size of those cocoons, they could be those shuttle pods simply docked but considering the Ark is miles long and is basically the size of an island that I think they are probably just part of the design of the ship.
  23. Since I never said the second Matrix couldn't offer the Hologram - You pretty much answered your own question with the matter of information flow... Basically however the Matrix presents the information it will either risk information overload, remember also these Holograms aren't limited to just optical illusion as they can fool even hyper sensors, or limit it to such an extent he could easily miss whatever you may want him to find. You have to remember, the Matrix is already enhancing Jason's perceptions but at his core he is still just human and as such has specific human limitations. For him to perceive more than he is already could very well require him to alter how his brain works so he could process all that information and not get lost in it all. We also can't underestimate the difficulty and dangers of extending our time perception beyond the limits we are normally use to. For example, just take away light and float someone in water and they will no longer be able to tell up from down. Perceiving time outside our normal perception would be far more difficult. Never mind the emotional strain of having to relive a traumatic event, which combined with the perception limitation would most likely require Jason to have to view the same scenes from different angles over and over, possibly even thousands of times, before he finds something he didn't know about before.
  24. Hey, if anyone wants to make an audio book of the fan fictions, feel free to do so. I don't think anyone of us has the voice for it to do it ourselves. Same rules apply as when making your own fic based on our characters though. Who knows, one of you could be the next Orsen Wells and put the world in a state of panic thinking the story is real.
  25. *Bump* Are there any other things about the Guyver that anyone wants to know more about?
