  1. Yes, we do all think differently. It's what makes things interesting However the egg came before the chicken, common rookie metaphysical mistake. For scientist all we have to do is account for evolution to get the correct answer (egg layed by previous species that spawned chickens came first). For metaphysics, for some reason this is often forgotten but there are creation myths in which the world was born from an egg. So both agree that the egg came first And you got the scientist and metaphysics answer backwards for thought and mathematics. Both assume what mathematics describe is part of the universe but scientists are more literal and so would state thought came first as mathematics is a system of thought to describe and understand the physics of the universe, while metaphysics would say consciousness simply became aware of it and thus mathematics came first.

  4. Guyver BORG Every assimulation makes the unit stronger and harder to beat. Anyone remember the Star Trek Voyager "Drone" episode from season 5, when the portable holo emitter got assimulated and produced a super advance Borg Drone? With 29th century tech the borg was able to take out a Borg ship all on his own, though it cost him his life the power he had was far greater than any 25th century Borg. I think we can draw parallels from that example. . .

  6. Technically the reason Matrix has problems with the W'Kar element is because the W'Kar element's multi-dimensional properties grants it an incredible energy density. So because the Matrix is indirectly powered by dimensional energy that it's energy fields aren't strong enough to directly manipulate the W'Kar element, at least in its default state. However, Cassandra only ever had trace amounts of the W'Kar element in her system that was too small to be self sustaining. Thus the reason why she needed to be redosed every now and then. So the possibility that the Matrix effected Alexandria in some way could have been possible, though it is more likely the element itself caused some mutation. However, only Allen would know for sure.
  7. It's too early to say, all we know for sure is one game developer has revealed that another is already working on a project for the PSP2, which means they must have a prototype to work with. However until they release the product they could change practically everything about it. Needless to say there is quite a wish list from all PSP users and dual analog sticks is number one on that list. Btw, that image is just a concept art they released a little over a year ago so it is unlikely to look like that but until they release an official image the dreamt up ones are all we got to look at.
  8. Officially they were just for show, especially if we go by the Manga/Anime. But we allow for more mutation in the fan fic because many humans use to be zoanoids and it has been revealed that the Creators left only 10,000 years ago versus the original believed 2.5 million year time line. Meaning the destabilizing of the zoaform DNA from the general populace happened pretty recently and thus trace amounts of zoaform DNA may still be in some blood lines. This could explain everything from G-US from having extra sonic emitters to G-C's single Eye. Though technically the WG fan fic is still sticking to the 2.5 million year time line (couldn't have the time war otherwise ) but we also introduced the idea of the Ancients, who would also have had access to Creator tech and thus we can still have those trace DNA sticking around to modern times. (Ancients explain every old myth, like the gods of the ancient world and even witches and sorcerors... Circe for example from Greek Myth could have been an ancient who had access to zoaforming tech and used it to turn men into zoanoids so she could control them... The possibilities are endless) Not enough for any natural born zoanoids, the DNA would have long broke down to just junk DNA mixed with regular human junk DNA but the Guyver Unit could possibly pick up on those dormant traces and randomly activate any that may still be viable enough to use. So G-US gets a bonus on his sonic buster power and G-C got some better eye-sight. This of course opens up more possibilities for other Guyver fan fics. . . Provide a good pic and I'll take the provided data and lay it out to look like one of WG Data Files, and we can then post it on the Guyver Fan Fiction DF section. I'll also offer my editing service to anyone who wants to write a WG based fan fic and of course we'll accept any Guyver fan fic for the Guyver Fan Fic section.
  9. Far is right, Archanphel would have to have used nearly as much energy as say a Star Wars Death Star would have to destroy that Mars size Asteroid and that's a few orders of magnitude greater then even the total energy output of the sun. . . Like 6 months worth! 80 Gigatons wouldn't even register as a spark in comparison. Really, 80 Gigatons is just enough to vaporize your average state or small country, which is like comparing a pebble to a mountain when you start getting into planetary scale masses. But the Exceed's black hole attack could be an equalizer.
  10. I disagree, it sounds like you're comparing top of the line Military RADAR to everyday RADAR. . . Remember if that was true of all RADAR then planes would get warnings when they are about to fly into a flock of birds (which are a lot bigger than bugs) and they wouldn't need transponders if we could identify them by just their RADAR signature. Unlike military RADAR, civilian RADAR doesn't always have multiple RADAR sources and detection grid. Never mind most civilians don't have access to thermal, wake signatures, etc. Stealth itself is more complicated, take the real reason the F-117 had so many angles was to reflect as little of the signal back to the same source. The flat angles themselves did nothing to provide stealth, it was the arrangement and placement of those angles so the total signature of the F-117 would not reflect all back to a single source. Similarly curved angles also reflect most of the RADAR signal away from the source direction, but being curved means at close range the signal could get stronger as the angles congruent to the source become more likely to reach the source. Otherwise curved surfaces do make an object harder to detect. Especially versus a flat surface facing the direction of the RADAR signal, which would reflect all of the signal right back to the detector, that a curved surface would indeed provide a weaker signal. Also ultimately the F-117 was shown to be too impractical, as the multiple angles impaired the craft's aerodynamics so much that it needed constant computer assist to keep it stable in flight. More advance RADAR systems could also defeat its methods of stealth. Which brings us to the F-22 and Joint Strike Fighters, they have both angled and curved surfaces, preserving aerodynamics so they are much more stable, maneuverable, and can even go super sonic. Despite this they are both still stealth rated crafts. Though you are right that material properties are also a factor as to whether the Guyver will absorb or just reflect RADAR signals. The main confusion though is probably the idea that stealth equals invisibility, when it does not. Stealth aircrafts simply reduce their signature so it is harder to detect them. In optimum conditions, detecting a stealth is like detecting a bird. It may be on the RADAR but is so small that it can easily be overlooked. Like look at a dollar bill on a carpet, it is easily seen, but put a dime on that same carpet and you will be hard pressed to find it at all. The dime isn't invisible, just too small to be easily seen. The same would be true of the Guyver, unless they are looking for something the size of a man then they will easily over look something the size of the Guyver. Just like many drone aircraft often slip by enemy RADAR. Of course if they are looking for you that is another matter, the military for example have the option of recording the signature of an object and so the next time it is detected they will automatically be alerted. This is what happened in the movie IRONMAN, the first time he slipped through but once they were aware of him they quickly detected him the next time around.
  11. I believe that since the Guyver can withstand attacks that would shatter steel, as shown in the new Anime as G1 withstood multiple high pressure sonic attacks, that the Guyver would be impervious to even the .50 BMG rounds that riffles like the AS-50 fire. A .50 BMG can penetrate anywhere from 2-3 steel armor plates in a row but this pales in comparison to the force needed to shatter steel. Of course this doesn't mean it can't still hurt a Guyver, even if it is equivalent to throwing a pebble at someone, if properly targeted to a possible weak spot like the eyes, but it does suggest the Guyver is extremely resistant to at least low level anti-tank weaponry.
  12. Yes but Smallville doesn't exactly follow the laws of physics with any consistency. . . but you may be right, depends on the Guyver's footing and whether he was ready for the impact or not, since the Guyver has been knocked around by similar force from Hyper Zoanoids, like Zerebubuth, etc. while at other times, like the OAV grapple with the out of control G1, the Guyver has stood its ground.
  13. Well it would depend on momentum, the car's kinetic force is just like anything else. Mass x Speed! All the figures you just gave are the rest mass but speed can multiply that very quickly. Conversely the Guyver could also be running towards the car for a counter force. In which case the Guyver might just tear through the car like tissue paper.
  14. That's one way of putting it, opinions do vary but I couldn't agree more with you Ryuki. It's basically Nintendo's attempt to make a multi-media variant of the DS, but they did this building off the original which was never intended to do much more than games. Examples of compromise include removal of the GBA slot, so the DSi dropped backwards compatibility with all GBA games. Even how it processes the coding of exising DS games had to be modified specifically for the DSi so not all DS games will work properly on the DSi. Though that video review of the web browsers does indicate it can surf better than the DS but I've seen Smart Phones with better browsing capability and speed. On the plus it can download games, play music, and take pictures, which of course will be a feature that they will integrate into games just like similar camera systems have been used before on consoles. However to me this ultimately defeats the purpose of the DS and with much more powerful multimedia products out there that this will be one of the worst products that Nintendo has come out with in quite awhile.
