1 Watt=1 Volt x 1 Amp per second, so is a more a measurement of average energy in a given time frame. In a way it is similar to F=m*a/t So you're suggesting some sort of amplification is going on when the Smashers are actually fired as opposed to the energy they charge up with? Such as the energy is just a measure of the amount of particles being stored up, which we can then multiple by the velocity they are fired at for the final energy level? If so that could work and explain the difference. . .

Preprogrammed Self Upgrading Guyver
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
It's a fan fiction character and thus both its data file and stories are in the Guyver Fan Archive section of the site. Omega Guyver Data File Essentially, just have the CM upgraded so it can go beyond the default and similar to the Gigantic adapt new features. Much of the Gigantic's abilities for example are derived from the technology of the Relic added to the Guyver and some abilities like the Exceed are adaptations based on the needs of the host and the nature and capability of the Guyver technology. The limit of course will be the level of energy, the more it has the more it can do but without the Gigantic Power Amps or WG HSL the energy of a Unit is limited. However, if evolutionary based then the unit will have to work with what it has and so that will limit the adaptations it will be capable of. So you can say even if it has the knowledge of the technology it will need that it can't work with what it doesn't have access to. So like the Gigantic it may need time to grow a new feature (remember the Gigantic was Cocooned for about a year). The explanations are essentially simple on principle... The HSL is an advance form of the Guyver Bio-Boost. Normal Guyvers upon activation create a wormhole between the host and the boost dimension (this is seen as the blast field), where the unit is stored when not in use. So as the unit transitions into normal space and goes over the host the link provided by the wormhole infuses the Guyver with energy from the boost dimension. This energy is then supplemented by Gravity Control Orb that continues to siphon a trickle charge of energy from the boost dimension, thus providing a Guyver with a basic HSL so they don't need to eat to recover energy. But the rate of siphon is insufficient to power things like the Mega Smashers, so it take time to recover energy from using up that much energy all at once. For the HSL system, I took the concept from the fact that the Bio-Boost Organism that composes the Guyver unit can naturally bio-boost (access the boost dimension on its own). And simply applied it to the host in a system based on the unit interface with the host, via the CM. Thus providing the host with a full Bio-Boost not limited to just the Gravity Control Orb siphon. However with potentially unlimited power there has to be a regulation or otherwise the system would just draw power until it explodes. So the host is used to regulate the power flow by adjusting the flow rate to the tolerance level of the host. The WG system is primarily designed to make this process as efficient as possible, thus the reason for the 4 CM segment's to better regulate the power flow and allow the 4x power level. Integration of the system to the CM also allows the CM additional benefits like the ability to project its own shield and to auto teleport into hyper space. Essentially I took the Guyver's natural dimensional interface capability and expanded it to a more effective power system then the original system allowed. Also the same dimensional interface technology also grants the Guyver access to wormhole physics and as such the Guyver has the potential to manipulate dimensions and the energies involved in those manipulations. Thus I was able to grant the WG with the Gravity Shield (I'm a stickler for making logical sense ), which is derived from the blast shield, which as I've just explained is part of the Bio-Boost system. . . Understand so far? Now the CPM is just another derivative of the HSL system, which is why they are similar. Basically taking the same factors that make the Gravity Shield possible the WG2's CPM system creates a semi-stable dimensional interface with the boost dimension. In normal use this allows energy from the boost dimension to be directly siphoned and directed into a directed beam blast equivalent to a Mega Smasher. However, due to the advance power management feature of the WG design the host also can will control over how the energy is managed. For WG this is what allows him to focus his body shield energy to produce the Mega Pressure Cannon. The similarity of the CPM however to the HSL allows the WG2 to channel its energy internally and thus temporarily boost the unit's internal power to twice its normal level. However this basically means the WG2 is working at 200% when using the CPM's to boost itself. Like a human pumping themselves with stimulants, you get a boost but you'll eventually burn out. Though the WG tolerance is quite high so WG2 can keep it up for a fair amount of time, but not forever. So you can understand when I say WG and WG2 are basically the same, just optimized differently. WG for example can use the gravity shield to also boost himself but gravity energy is not the same as the raw energy provided by the CPM and so the results would be less efficient. However the Gravity Shield has a far higher maximum energy capacity and thus though WG2 would have the physical advantage a WG would have the overall raw power advantage. Similarly WGC uses the same technology to produce his Meteor attack, consequently showing how flexible and adaptable the WG tech really is. -
Well, the Mega Watt reference in the VDF for the energy output of the Mega Smashers is the one figure I've always disputed, since my own calculations for the energy requirements for a 1 second blast capable of vaporizing a whole bunch of zoanoids and blast a trench along miles of ground puts the Smashers in the same power level as an atomic bomb (which makes more sense when you consider the fact Takaya stated his inspiration for the Smashers was Godzilla's atomic breath). Though this could just be a translation error, or simple underestimating the power needed to vaporize stuff, I believe it more likely the energy reference covers the ambient energy of the Mega Smashers, such as its luminosity since the Smasher beam can be quite blinding in its intensity and really the Mega-Watt figure would barely flash fry a single human let alone vaporize any significant mass. Take 100,000 volt cattle prod, it produces about 100 joules of electrical plasma (equivalent to 100 watts) but that is barely enough to put a pin-hole into a tin can. The difference in energy is significant, 1 ton of TNT equals about 4.2 x10^9 joules (joules are roughly equivalent to watts) and an atomic bomb equals 10 to 15 thousand tons of TNT. The Mega-Watt figure would just be a fraction of that power. But as scaling goes, this would only put the Gigantic's Smashers in the low Mega Ton range (similar to a tactical nuke) and would fit the level of destruction that they are inferred to be capable of, considering these weapons already countered and overpowered Neo-ZX-Tole's Final Blast Tempest. The scale factor to Exceed would be immense but still not enough to destroy a planet, the energy of which is frankly greater than the energy output of the Sun. Even if we go 8000x the Gigantic the Giga Smashers would still only be in the two digit Giga Ton range. To compare the volcanic eruption that produced the Tsunami that devastated so much of the world a few years ago was equivalent to the energy of 100 Giga Tons. This falls short of even the energy needed to destroy our moon, though it is sufficient to cause enough damage to cause a mass extinction if that much energy was directed towards land and created a nuclear winter scenario. Though directing it at a Caldera could amplify that a bit.

Preprogrammed Self Upgrading Guyver
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
I think you're forgetting the fan created character of Omega Guyver, who could upgrade his unit by adapting the technology of a more advance unit it may come into contact with. Matrix enhanced beings like Dreadnought are also capable of self upgrading, if Jason ever allowed it. But I believe gelionlegends idea could work along the lines of how Angel Guyver's Unit functions but in reverse. Say the unit was designed to optimize itself for the host but since a Unit can be bonded to any life form that the unit evolves itself to best suite the host and this results in increased capabilities over time. Though a standard unit does this instantly upon bonding, going with the same line of thinking as the Warrior Project we can say what if the unit was specifically designed as a weapon instead of just a universal space suit that became a weapon because of its human host. So say this unit is equipped with an adaptation bio-matrix that increasingly optimizes itself to function more as a weapon and enhance the host characteristics beyond the norm. Much like Mark II tech the technology should already be there but how it is applied could be the difference as the unit learns what works best with its host. Though consequently this may mean the Guyver losses some abilities as others get enhanced for traits that don't work best for the host. Essentially, just say the CM is given learning capability and slowly but surely figures out how to make the unit more of a weapon. -

Note: The Barrier Shield is a natural function of the Relic's, which is why the Gigantic has this ability, but it has its limits. When Guyver 0 was created he fired upon two Relics, the first was a surprise and thus had not time to put a shield as the Mega Smasher destroys its brain and Navigation Spheres (this Relic later becomes Silha Island), and the other was hit after Archanphel warped Guyver 0's Mega Smasher beam around himself and let it go on to hit another Relic which did manage to put up its shield in time but even then the beam damaged the Relic through the shield (it's unknown whether this Relic is the one from Relic's Point or the Fossilized Arizona Relic but I believe it to be the later).

Question on Guyver Prototypes
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Nope. SG is one of Brian's best kept secrets -
Well the size of the beam emitter should also be taken into account, Dragon Lord's Final form did have a very massive mouth and the Whales Purgatorium did ball up to a pretty massive size before it fired to boot. While Neo-Zektole's Final Blast Tempest just came out of his, tiny compared to Dragonlord Khan, body. So the radius of his attack started out much smaller and would of course needed more range to spread out. Assuming it could spread out as a thermal ray is usually almost laser like aside from atmospheric absorbsion that would cause it to spread minimally. After all most of his beam weapons were basically lasers anyway. The Purgatorium, though also a heat weapon, appeared more like a particle beam blast to me (like how the beam reacted when Exceed blocked it with his hand) and could thus spread out more significantly like the Guyver Mega Smashers do over distance.
-
Slight confusion here I believe. . . Let's clarify that the Final Blaster Tempest would only have destroyed Tokyo if it had hit the ground. Neo ZX-Tole Final Blast Tempest was a One Million degree heat beam! Basically this means his attack would have triggered a nuclear explosion, because you heat any form of matter to a million degrees and you get fusion, as the matter breaks down into energy. Something like the effect shown in the movie Independance Day when the alien ships fired their main weapon into the ground and it created devastation for miles around. Or in other words the beam was so hot it would have made the target area explode for extra collateral damage. But the Final Blaster Tempest was countered and over powered by the Gigantic's Giga Smashers, resulting in a blast wave sufficient to injure Purg'Stall who was flying over the city at the time but the city itself was unharmed. Sho's estimates as Exceed was that the resulting blast wave of their two beams slamming into each other by itself would be enough to destroy Shinjuku. So if Sho did nothing and let the beam hit the ground then it would have done far more damage as then 100% of the beam energy would hit the city versus the fraction that gets by as the two opposing beams countered each other. So we can conclude Khan's Wales Purgatorium was indeed far more powerful than Neo ZX-Tole's Final Blaster Tempest. And we shouldn't assume a target has to be completely covered by the radius of the beam weapon in order for the beam to be able to destroy the whole target. Like a Meteor or Comet impact can hit a small area but cause damage that can effect the whole planet, so too can extremely powerful energy weapon attacks can cause significant collateral damage. The numbers may be too much for them to accept, scientist don't like it when formulas put out insane numbers. Just look at how long it took to calculate the energy output of the Star Wars Death Star? Guyver On Radar
zeo replied to Spartan Warlord's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
RADAR is also effected by size and whether the object has any sharp angles for the RADAR to reflect off of to make it more easily detected. A Guyver is only human size and has lots of round angles and thus would have a very small RADAR signature, provided of course the RADAR system is sensitive enough to detect anything around human size to begin with. Basically even if detected they could mistake a Guyver for a bird or perhaps a drone aircraft. Though there is a chance that the bio-armor may absorb RADAR signals and thus be completely invisible, unless standing in front of something detectable and would thus show up as a blank spot. The main thing to probably worry about then would be the possibility of accidentally colliding with an aircraft, especially jets, since a Guyver doesn't have access to the flight ID system that helps keep track of all air traffic and so would have to rely on Hyper Sensors to avoid impacts. . . It's just avoiding things like a super sonic jet that may be the problem. -
Yes, the Unit the Guyver Zoalord bonded to was modified to give him less than the full Bio-Boost but the Zoalord himself was also not that powerful of a Zoalord to begin with and the combination of those two factors is why he was only about 200x but this is still significant since Zoalords are capable of what I would call ultimate attacks that are far beyond their normal power levels and thus he would eventually have had sufficient energy reserves that would have allowed him to destroy the entire planet. . . I agree Archanphel is probably around 35x, though he may be as high as 50x, when he was at his full power but because Archanphel believes the Creators would try to destroy him before he could reach full power as a Guyver Zoalord that he decided not to become a Guyver Zoalord. Consequently, the incomplete prototype Warrior Unit he is bonded to essentially doesn't boost him at all to avoid tipping off the Creators. Thus the intended purpose was simply to facilitate the regeneration needed to fully heal him back to his original full power, which is quite significant all by itself and he still benefits with the limited HSL that helps renew his energy reserves, an ability available to no other Zoalords. Remember Archanphel stopped a Meteor from destroying the Earth that by McAvoy's own estimates, based on visual analysis of the Manga image of what the Meteor would have looked like had it impacted the Earth, seem to indicate it was about the size of the planet Mars. The power requirements of destroying anything that size and only leave a couple of fragments barely large enough to trigger an ice age is far more than most people can even imagine. To compare the Gigantic's Giga Smashers to the power Archanphel demonstrated would be like comparing a fire cracker to a nuclear bomb. Even the Exceed version may not have enough power to equal that level of power. Though normally Archanphel's abilities are probably far less but even crippled as he is now in the Manga, essentially slowly dying, he is still said to be capable of confronting all the other Zoalords and winning. At the very least he demonstrated the ability of piloting the Ark all by himself even though it normally requires all the Zoalord's combined power to do so, though the strain forced him into a premature hibernation period. Consequently, if not for his vulnerable hibernation periods even the Gigantic may not be capable of defeating him. Of course Archanphel faces far more grave threats in the WG fan fiction and so bringing him back to full power works without threatening to make him a fic ender. But in the Manga, just like the other Zoalords, his power is ultimately finite and thus has its limits while Guyvers can continuously renew their power.

Question on Guyver Prototypes
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Partly, but you also have to factor that his is a specialized unit that was created to test a specific feature that was later integrated into the final Warrior Unit Prototype Type 1. Similar to say Battle Guyver and the highly specialized body shield system her unit possesses was the basis for the WG body shield system. A good comparison can be made to the Lynn Satome's Nova Storm Unit, which was a test bed for the enhanced gravitational powers of the Black Nova Unit. He did not possess Mega Smashers either, since all his unit power was focused to generating and controlling gravitational energy. Add that Shadow Guyver has apparently continued to operate successfully even after Dreadnought came into the picture, though he probably avoids him as much as possible, should give some idea of how effective his cloaking system must be and how much power such a system must require to be that effective. . . Btw, cloaking is also based on the body shield system so having him being able to produce an effective shield shouldn't be surprising. Though it probably taxed him considerably to refocus his cloak into a shield (yes, similar to Stargate Atlantis and them having to switch between cloak and shields). -
The Zoa-Crystals are officially all created from Archanphel's, singular/not plural! Barcus and Archanphel basically took Archanphel's Zoa-Crystal and took some shavings/samples, which they then cultivated into whole crystals to which Barcus was granted the first one and Waferdanos the second, etc. as Barcus was charged with fulfilling the original plan of the Creators to create a total of 12 Zoalords, with Archanphel as the sole Master Zoalord. Unfortunately, no details have ever been given on how Zoalord's are processed, we only know Waferdanos was never processed because he was never human to begin with. Barcus found him on an island by the same name in which he was literally the forest of the land. Possessing Subjecti, humanoid vine like plant creatures that Waferdanos can create from his body at will and serve him in the same way Zoanoids server Zoalords. Barcus senses Waferdanos had power near that of a Zoalord, combined with his status as a divine being (as far as Barcus is concerned since both he and Archanphel were directly created by the Creators) that he decided to give him one of the Crystals. Planted into the forehead of Waferdanos humanoid like Avatar body the Zoa-Crystal reacted to him by converting his mass, including the Subjecti, into energy and compressing him into the more humanoid hairy form first seen in the Manga. Though we know of no incident in which Waferdanos controlled any zoanoids, his status as Zoalord would indicate that he could and thus we can state this ability is derived from the Zoa-Crystal, since he is the sole example that we know who was never processed. While the Zoa-Crytal itself is stated as being a means to store vast amounts of energy and is the secret to the Zoalord's power but as noted Zoalord's abilities do vary with the few exceptions like Archanphel who appears to have all abilities at his disposal. I would thus suggest that the ability to generate psycho-waves (this is what they call the mental waves that Zoalord's use to control other beings), the Barrier Shield, Zoa-Crystal Energy Beam, and flight are all abilities derived from the Zoa-Crystal because these abilities are demonstrated both in Zoalord battle form and their human form. Additionally, as a storage vessel of immense amounts of energy allows the Zoa-Crystal to sustain the life of the Zoalord from what would otherwise be fatale wounds until the energy of the Zoa-Crystal is exhaused. For example Purg'stal had depleted most of his power by the time the rogue Zoalord's assassinated him, Yentsei though still had energy when he was sliced in half by his own dimensional slice portal and thus survived until he finally did deplete his crystal. Though apparently this is limited to sustaining life as regeneration appears hardly enhanced, if at all. All that stated, I would say Zoalord's are optimized similar to Hyper Zoanoids but without the Zoa-Crystal Hyper Zoanoid's do not have the means to properly regulate their power and thus have a higher risk of burning themselves out. Thus the probable difference between a full Zoalord and a Proto-Zoalord is the Proto-Zoalord is only given a false crystal that grants the abilities of a Zoalord but does not possess the same level of energy storage and efficiency. Thus a Proto-Zoalord suffers the same problems as a Hyper Zoanoid like the Libertus or Enzyme III's that have metabolism's that run so fast and hard that they literally burn out and shorten their lifespans to just a few years. . . The lack of energy reserves being the biggest difference, since full Zoalords can draw power from their crystals but Hypers Zoanoids and even Proto-Zoalords must draw that power solely from their bodies. Btw, Murikami was Guyot's test-body, meaning Barcus used Murikami to test the design he was going to give Guyot. This was why Guyot was able to effect Murikami's crystal to the point he was able to immobilize him and even shatter his crystal. So Murikami was already attuned to Guyot's crystal and thus made the perfect raw material for Archanphel to create Imakarum from Murikami's body. However, Imakarum possess greater gravitational powers than Guyot and a wider range of abilities. Examples include the ability to fly, even into space, while in human form and utilizing his gravitational powers without having to fully transform. Imakarum also stated his gravity points were greater than Guyot's and thus unlike Guyot he did not completely exhaust himself when he created the Zoalard Black Hole attack, though it still drained him considerably. Imakarum is also capable of generating that swirling vortex attack that Archanphel used on Aptom the first time they met, combined with the fact Archanphel is trusting Imakarum to complete his mission and thus made him the aire apparent to Archanphel that Imakarum may possess a similar wide range of abilities as Archanphel now and may just favor his old gravitational abilities but until he is again engaged in battle that part remains just my conjecture at the moment. Finally, another factor that may be involved is the shape of the Zoa-Crystals, they aren't the same! Combined with how different the Zoalord battle form abilities appear to be suggests that they are indeed specialized for specific ability types. Purg'stal's crystal for example was more diamond shaped.

Question on Guyver Prototypes
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
I don't believe SG has Mega Smashers? He's a Stealth Unit, not a fighter. Like Klingon Cloak it takes a lot of power after all. TG was always intended to get upgraded later, in the beginning it's just the raw basic unit. Basically the TG project was never fully completed and there were missing components TG had to acquire to complete himself. As for firing weapons, yes and no. The weapons can be fired faster but the temporal field only effects what is in contact with TG. Once fired it falls back to normal time. So main benefit was quicker charge ups and faster refire rates. -
You're welcome, it's nice they're doing things like that along with the universal emulator that'll allow those memories to be preserved for all time.
