It has been a while, but I've decided to get back in Pokemon. Just bought a 3DS, picked up a copy of , and reserved a copy of Kinda of a good thing too. I haven't seriously played since the Red and Blue days. It lets me get my childhood wish of a 3D Pokemon adventure. I still remember being sad that Pokemon Stadium was just the fighting. Good game, but I was disappointed back then. I've played for a few hours, got one Gym Badge and already have seen/caught around 50 Pokemon. They also decided to make the game easier by giving you EXP. SHARE AFTER THE FIRST GYM. In Gen I, you only got after more than half way through the game. Definitely enjoying the third dimension and I'm can't wait to start riding down the road on a Skiddo! I totally agree on the animation. In general the hand-drawn animation from the 80's and 90's is far superior to the easily produced digital works used nowadays.

I just discovered this American Tokusatsu series from the Monstrosities YouTube channel. I don't know if it will any good yet, since it only has two short episodes. The designs look good and the acting is cheesy, but it seems to have some actual soul unlike the recent Power Rangers. I'm surprised the action on the 2005 anime was sub-par. The advertising certainly didn't help either. At least the story followed the manga more closely.
