Is it just me or is Mizuki getting prettier? I'm really enjoying the intrigue of this chapter plus it makes Arky more of a character having him interact with the rest of the cast at least on some level. He's never really been a villain, not like Guyot (whom I still consider the real main villain of the series), so I'm pretty hyped for a Sho/Arky confrontation. I wonder where this is all going?

I hesitate to get involved in such a debate but tat women's comment was to much to let go uncommented on. I'm just gong to say it, she's a racist. Yeah, her not so little rant is oozing with the same kind of hate you find in neo-Nazi sites. By the way, I know that cause I stumbled across it while researching a history report. Anyway, it's typical for bigots of all kinds to lay blame for all their problems/the worlds problems on their chosen hate group, "damn <insert group here> ruin everything". That the bigot belongs to a group that is historically persecuted does not diminish the bigotry of that person. Of course I'm sure I don't have to discredit this person's opinion after she made the statement that being a slave in Africa was more pleasant then being a slave in America. *facepalm* Oh and she talks about all white people even though she can't possibly know what ALL white people are like even on a broad cultural sense since their are white people all over the world, if you count "white" people as any person with non-pigmented skin which would include a large chunk of the Jewish population as well as Slavic people and every other sub-division I can't name off the top of my head. Then again there is a pretty prevalent view in most African countries that non-Africans aren't really black. So yeah, racism isn't just a white thing or even a purely skin colour thing either. It's any difference hateful people can find to draw them and is lines down. From a scientific point of view, the correct point of view, the concept of race is BS beyond general genetic commonalities (not fully definable by skin colour) within groupings of people. Not to mention the fact that a person's "racial" ancestry will likely span several "races" over the centuries. Gosh thatgot more involved than I intended.

Welcome to the site, superpack. I don't know they'll be continuing the anime but I think there is a thread for that already so you might find some info there. You can still get translations of the chapters here but you need to buy the physical copies first. There are threads for the volumes and the info on it is in those. Yeah I've got to agree that the lack of actual things happening is getting a touch frustrating at this point. Don't get me wrong, the manga is still awesome but there are a lot of plot points to resolve and we don't want this turning into Lost.

I think the problem is that Guyver is a bit of a slow starter with the big parts of the story not coming up until deep into the chapters. I've noticed the same problem with Claymore, with the early monsters being a touch generic and the characters not having the depth they have in the later parts of the story. You really need to invest in a series like this and so many just read the first couple of chapters at best before quieting. *shrug* There really isn't a way round that since it actually works to the story's favour since it slowly ramps up the action, stakes and the audience investment in the characters.

Hmmm way to much for me to even hazard a guess at right now. It's entirely possible that attack Apollon is charging is a non-lethal stun attack, but even then that doesn't answer anything since he was trying to stop Guyot not kill him so maybe he just blocked the fire as a side effect of...oh I don't even know. I'm really hoping we get some answers on Apollon soon. A mystery character is fun up until the point were the mystery gets less interesting and more annoying, and the Apollon question is starting to ware thin for me.

So Aptom is a power-up now...ok. The Quadris (is that what it's called?) can regenerate pretty quick, that's cool. I wonder if we'll finally start getting some answers about Apollon, so far we know he's an ass kicker and he's actually a nice guy...maybe.

Well I'm heavily bias on this subject but in general I think Guyver unites improve their hosts as well as adding the weapons as standard so a Guyver Zoanoid would be to a Guyver what a regular Zoalord is to a human. As for Guyot specifically, well he was said to be the strongest of the Zoalords, not including Alky and one of the most dangerous/powerful abilities of a standard Guyver is it's gravity manipulation, which is Guyot's thing...he made a BLACK HOLE TO KILL ONE, admittedly very powerful,GUY!!! I think he most telling fact we know is the Gigantus' gigasmasher is said to be boosted by its two extra gravity orbs, so Guyver Guyot could theoretically have a gigasmasher equivalent with only a standard Guyver. And that's not even taking into account the Gigantus and Exceed. So yeah, if Guyot got a Guyver unite it would be an extinction-level event in my opinion.

Well Apollyon wants Guyot alive for something since he only severed his legs. It's all pretty interesting. I'm going to go against the crowd and guess Apollyon is actually a unique character and all the similarities and stuff are all just a red herring.

Guyot fleeing a much more powerful mysterious guy...why does this seem so familiar to me?

Well that's slightly disappointing, but I guess running is the smart option in this situation. I wonder what Val was thinking there when she say the Guyver/Aptom fusion? Speaking of Val, god she's hot! I've got such a crush on her.

Well the Gigantus armour was derived from a Spaceship so maybe that's why it can sense on a global range. I'd expect a Spaceship to have that kind of ability as standard, not sure about Alky though.

I got mine too, thanks. ^-^ So I like this is 8 pages of set up so the next chapter can jump right into the fight. Since there are three combatants it should be pretty busy. Oh, I just had a thought...I hope we don't cut back to Mitsuki and co in the next chapter. I'm interested to see what's going on with them but not right before arguably the greatest fight in Guyver history is about to go down.

Since Guyot was probably going to stab the other two rogues in the back first chance he got I could see him trying to play both sides against the middle. Of course that depends on how this turns out. I'll be pretty annoyed if Guyot dies after all the build up of his return.

Step 1, don't die. Ok seriously, it's pretty obvious I hold Enzymes, especially Enzyme 1, in high regard so I'm pretty bias but yeah ranged attacks. Though it would need to be a really far range since Enzymes are fast and Enzyme 1 survived having half its head blown off and Enzyme 3s can regenerate and fly.

Hmmm well she's from the OVA and let's be honest she's here for fanservice, not that I'm complaining but she's interesting enough as a character to work. I like that she's working with Guyot and actually seems to be relevant to the story, but it's still early and Guyver has had characters that don't get much depth before dying...I'm looking at you Caerleon.

Hmmm a sweet little story about a step bother and siser bonding despite the um, issues involved in their respective parents' marriage...yeah this is going to get very dark, I mean bitch black.

Hmmm well my first reaction to seeing lil Val and her mother was, "cutie! " then I was like "wait, Val has a daughter? O.o " seriously they look so alike. Anyway, yeah this was a very um tranquil chapter but I like it cause lil Val is so cute and I like that there is backstory that isn't retelling the origin of the Guyver again. Plus it's pretty cool to see what I presume to be a multi-generational family of Chronos members, at least that's what I got from the shot of all the past Liskers and it sort of makes sense that Chronos would have whole bloodlines of people in their ranks.

Ironically this would have been a good idea for me when the order for translation thing first started but now that my cousin is actually buying and receiving the books for me I wouldn't be able to use this new system.

Well not as much information as I was hoping for, and a lot of it was just recapping old stuff. Oh well, it was interesting nonetheless ^^

Hmmm well Shin might team up with Sho and co since he seems like one of the honourable good Zoalords like Purgstal was, but I don't think Chronos as a whole will be joining Sho. Actually Chronos is pretty splintered at this point so I don't really think Chronos is a cohesive orginisation any more in terms of leadership. Let's see, five Zoalords as dead, one just had a meeting with Sho and Aptom, one is with Mitzuki and Tetsuo (where ever that is going), two are rogues, one is a former ally and one has been a long time enemy which leaves only one Zoalords unaccounted for in terms of where he stand in all this. I sure hope Galenos gets a role in he story or at least a good back story...seriously who are you Galenos and why are you apparently made of stone?
