  1. I thing the Guyver still uses its hosts “ears” to hear as normal but without the opening and cartilage. In the new anime the Guyver reacts to the sonic attack by covering where his ears would be, though this could just be a reflex action and the anime isn’t cannon so make of it what you will. Anyway, I thing that the Guyver hears though audio sensitive armor plats that are connected to the eardrum which would be an improvement as the direction of the sound wouldn’t effect such a hearing system as much. Also it removes a potential weak spot buy sealing the ear with armor rather then it being an open section of the skull. That doesn’t mean the sensor orbs can’t, or don’t, detect sound I just don’t think there’re the primary audio sensory organs but the sensor orbs could be uses to hear things beyond the Guyver’s normal hearing range. I’ve always taken the sensor orbs to be an enhancing tool for the host pre-existing senses (which I also take to be present on the Guyver) as well as an additional sensory device for senses the host doesn’t have rather then a primary sensory device. I’ll say this though, as much as I like the idea, it seems unlikely that the Guyver can hear with every surface of its body. I think something like that would became immediately apparent given the massive amount of additional hearing range (I don’t mean range as in distance) that would give the Guyver.
  2. So the question is how would a pregnant Guyver function? I mentioned this earlier but I don’t think that a pregnant Guyver would suffer the weight and imbalance issues the host would. We know that the Guyver almost completely degenerates its host’s digestive system while activated so even during the advanced stages of pregnancy the additional weight of the baby wont off-balance the Guyver because the weight will be redistributed into the torso (as there wont be any organs in the way). This makes more sense if the baby’s safety is a priority to the Guyver because of the host instincts, as it will be protected be additional lairs of muscle. Of course the weight issue is mute in all other regards because the Guyver’s strength means the baby would have to weigh several tones.
  3. Yes but the Guyver is somewhat adaptable and does have a limited AI so it isn’t a set program, also the host mind plays a part otherwise Sho and Agito’s Guyvers would work exactly alike. While they are identical as far as weapons (minus some cosmetic differences) and combat are concerned Sho’s Guyver seems more inclined to its more passive functions like flying the Relic. As far as I can tell Sho’s mentality is the only variable that would account for this difference. As for the aging thing well we don’t really know what effect, if any, the Guyver has on it’s host’s natural state as Sho and Agito are both healthy young men. Weather the Guyver does or doesn’t stop the aging process I don’t believe it would allow it’s host to die under any circumstances as it is fairly obvious that one of its core tenets is its host survival. I doubt death being a natural part of its host’s life will matter much to the Guyver.
  4. Something we haven’t considered it that the Guyver alters its physical structure so it can bond with a host so it is reasonable to assume that during the bonding process the Control Metal would become aware of its host’s biological functions and make adjustments accordingly. I realize that doesn’t really address the issue of weather the host is reset after each bio-boost but it is a point worth considering. Personally I think the Guyver eliminates the preset limit our cell have to replace themselves (which is what aging is on a cellular level) by regenerating them thus creating the allusion of an ageless state.
  5. That would make sense if you think about the Zoacrystals, which could be a weaponized version of the Control Metal’s crystal component. It should also be remembered that the Guyver wasn’t originally a weapon but a spacesuit-esc device for the Creators that was never intended for use on a human. Really Guyvers (as we know them) didn’t exist until some Creator thought, I know lets equip one of these humans with a G-unite…what’s the worst that could happen? It isn’t entirely impossible to assume that the G-unite was the equivalent of a hazard suit that only Creators in such hazardous situations and were removed onboard their ships and possibly not used at all on their domestic planets (remember Earth would be the Creator equivalent of a munitions factory). So in social settings, if the issue applies to the Creators, the G-unites wouldn’t be present to hinder pregnancy or whatever.
  6. That’s something to consider, Guyvers (though they wouldn’t be Guyvers in this context) would be standard kit for the Creators so the fact they have a device for removing them may indicate the need too do so for some reason like reproduction. However, since we know nothing about the Creator’s biology or culture there is any number of social and biological possibilities. I personally like to think that the Creators were scientists from several different races that belonged to a federation-type alliance that formed a separatist ground, that interbred creating a super intelligent but physically weak, imperialistic race. But that’s neither here nor there. Anyway, something else that may support the regression theory is stem cells, which are programmable. Since a fetus is composed of these malleable cells it seems more likely that an advanced system like the Control Metal could alter and re-assemble them without difficulty. Possibly giving the fetus a jellyfish structure during combat to protect it from harm and squish it out of the way without degenerating it at all. Of course that does raze the point about the Guyver’s perception of the baby again. One possibility we haven’t considered yet is that the Guyver will recognize the pregnancy as a means by which it’s host reproduces (which it is of course). Why the host is growing an entity inside herself is probably the question the Guyver would ask if it understood what was happening was part of it’s host’s biological functions. Ultimately the answer it concludes would probably have a large effect on the actions its would take. For example, if the Guyver concluded that the host was growing an external drone creature (like Waferdonis’ Subjecty) then it may attempt to “fix” it after noting the host would have no mental link to it. Or it may conclude the host is attempting to clone herself and the Guyver will purge the “errors” in its design (the father’s DNA). Or maybe it will just leave it alone and work round it then the host bio-boosts.
  7. I think the Guyver effecting the baby directly is unlikely as it isn’t part of the host’s physiology so I don’t really see how the Guyver would have a connection to it. That aside there are a number of factors that would probably effect the Guyver’s reaction to the baby, unlike the bacteria in our digestive systems babies offer no benefits to their host essentially making them parasites. However, the baby does have some of the host DNA and it is widely believed (though I’m not sure if this it a fact) that after a point in brain development external stimuli is prosest as a form of early cognitive function practice. That basically means the baby hears a sound remembers other sounds and notes if and when (whatever concept of time a baby in the womb has ) it heard it before. Of course just because it’s a “smart parasite” may not make a difference to the Guyver, but under ideal circumstances pregnancy is harmless to the host. Then there are the host’s natural maternal instincts, which would probably effect the Guyver considerably since it largely draws from the host’s subconscious. Then there’s the fact that it is widely known that childbirth is the most painful experience women (I say women because it just seems stupid to say person when only women can have children) can have. That knowledge might effect the Guyver as well, which razes more questions like would a woman be able to give birth or would the Guyver automatically activate due to the host’s distress? It’s probably best not to get into this to deeply otherwise we could end up digging ourselves into a hole we can’t clime out of. Remember this entire line of thought is ultimately academic as, as has been point out, these are thinks that will never be dealt with though it would be a good dramatic device I don’t see the story going that way.
  8. Well it’s said that if it exists there is pornography of it, so I doubt Guyver is any different. Now that I think about it the scene were Valcur (is that her name?) merges with the Guyver is essentially a soft-core quasi-tentacle rape scene but that was the OVA. Still, with such a small female cast I imagine it doesn’t get as much “attention” as similar Manga do. There is one thing that occurs to me, assuming that the Guyver doesn’t somehow end the pregnancy, a pregnant female Guyver may not look any different from a non-pregnant one. If the Guyver degenerates the host’s digestive system then there would be no visible bulge as there would be no organs to push the expanded womb out. I know that doesn’t seem important but it would mean that even advanced pregnancy wouldn’t hinder a female Guyver like it does normal women. I don’t think there is any performance differences between male and female Guyvers but it stands to reason that as there are fundamental physiological differences between men and women then that has to translate to the Guyvers. The best example is the pelvis, a women’s pelvis is shaped differently to a man’s allowing for greater range of movement and flexibility. Of course these differences only count if the host knows how to exploit them, being ably to bend a certain way is only good to a Guyver if it equals an attack.
  9. I agree about the Guyver bonding with the host, and then the Gigantic bonds with the Guyver, resulting in a doubly augmented human idea. On a related note, I’ve been thinking about how the theories in this thread might work better if applied to individual areas of the Exceed. Like the energy infused, honeycomb cell structure idea would work for the bones of the Exceed giving them the necessary structural integrity required. Where as the muscles of the enlarged atomic structure (expanding the electrons orbits) idea would work better for the muscles as the unstable energy that would result from this could be contained and even processed into the musculature. This could be a function of the armor plates, regulated by the Control Metal of course. As for the armor plates, I’m sticking with normal cellular mass increase just because the are made of an alien material. I’m retracting my earlier theory about the host’s brain because any additional regulation would be handled by the Control Metal. I’m taking the Exceed to be only bone, muscle and armor (the Control Metal and other devices I’m lumping into the alien material category) because that’s all there seems to be so far. However, I’m fairly sure that the host’s brain is still present because that’s what the Control Metal links too. I’m kinda sidestepping on this one but maybe the environment within the Exceed’s skull allows the brain to function after growing so large. Or maybe the brain is enlarges though the dimensional lens effect that is contained within the confines of the skull therefore overcoming the dimensional instability issues. I’m not mocking your theory by the way and I didn’t omit it out of dislike for the idea I just don’t understand the physics involved well enough to apply it beyond, what I’m sure is a wholly flowed interpretation. Though it seems to me that if the Exceed were occupying two dimensions at once (sorry if I’m miles away from what you where trying to say) then this would create a “weak spot” in realty essentially. Hence my brain idea…my head hurts. On a side note human brains are actually bigger then an animal our size should have but our brains have to do more so it makes sense, and we don’t only use 10% of our brains but we do normally only use around 10% at a time. Also we know what all the parts of our brain do, more or less, we just aren’t sure how exactly…fun brain facts are fun.
  10. First, I’d like to clarify that I didn’t really mean that he flat-out ignored the physics issues with enlarging the Gigantic to Exceed just that he didn’t consider them. It isn’t really something that instantly springs to mind unless you analyze it or are versed in the physics involved before hand. Plus, as you say he is a Godzilla fan so being accustomed to seeing such technically impossible scaling could have made him less likely to question the plausibility of the Exceed. As for the Dragon Lord, that’s something of a gray area because it didn’t really grow because it was constructed from Zoanoids and it required more of them to achieve its full power. The way I look at it, the Dragon Lord is more or less all of the Zoanoids that make its body stacked together so it doesn’t necessarily suffer from the same physics issues. As for the weight, well since its physiology is so different from the Exceed I don’t think we can really compare the two so I don’t think it changes anything.
  11. I’d like to say that I wasn’t arbitrarily dismissing the enlarged atoms theory, I was just trying to point out that if the Exceed were a robot or something it wouldn’t work. However, as it is organic its atomic structure is different to non-organic materials so it can work, but it ha its own issues. “Exotic materials” is a good place to start because the normal rules of atomic structure don’t always apply within biology, take oxygen for example. In its natural state it is Oxygen 2 (two oxygen molecules) but within the blood stream it is carried as Oxygen 1 (which is otherwise impossibly). So some function of the Exceed’s biology could create an otherwise impossible atomic state for the atoms to safely undergo enlargement. Another thing to consider is that the Exceed may have unknown elements (elements not yet discovered and/or not present on Earth) as part of its atomic structure that would be more tolerant of the enlargement process. Of course that still leaves the issue of the enlarged cells but if, as zeo said, the Gigantic and therefore the Exceed is more plant based then the cells would have actual cellular walls. Unlike animal calls that only have a membrane planet calls have a solid structure which makes them more durable and in this case would mean the Exceed’s cells would have greater structural integrity. Do that help? I think I’ve said this before but it is possible that Takaya intended the Exceed to be a scaled up version of Gigantic and simply overlooked the fact that its technically impossible, or rather improbable. That would explain why the Exceed has the same volume/weight ratio even though physics says it shouldn’t.
  12. I said, “Exceed doesn’t have the exact same structure as the Gigantic” because it can’t! I base this on the fact that there are three pages writhe with posts trying to solve that problem…several of which are yours. I guess I didn’t realize, you and YoungGuyver’s theory didn’t imply the Exceed was different because I assumed drastic structural changes where a necessity for the level of alteration involved with the theory. There are two problems I can see, if you increase the size of the actual atoms that doesn’t solve the problem so much as redirect it, as the atoms would be under considerable stress and the Exceed would essentially be a massive atomic bomb. Likewise if you, as I believe you are suggesting, widen the distance between the nuclei within the atomic bonds then the resulting stress on the bonds from the necessary extent of the widening would be massive. The Exceed would disintegrate at the slightest provocation, never mind blocking Khans beam. That’s all academic anyway because organic substances would suffer from completely different problems under such an atomic expansion. You see, as I understand it, the atoms within an organic substance are grouped into nucleotides which them selves are arranged into DNA and/or RNA (which one doesn’t matter here). Why this matters is because if you enlarge the atoms of living thing that has the knock-on effect of enlarging the nucleotides and then DNA/RNA strands. This all continues from the protean on words, so everything else about the Exceed is enlarged. Over and above the fact that the cell walls would collapse, the Exceed would have no working respiratory system because the red blood cells would be too big to carry the norm-sized oxygen. Sorry if all that seemed antagonistic but I’m a little hurt that my conclusions and thermos where referred to as concoctions …that wasn’t nice.
  13. I should have said this in my last post but the reason that I think the brain would have to be altered is the way brains work. As I understand it, the human brain functions be passing electrical impulses between the wrinkled areas of the surface, which is why less complex animal brains are smoother (I know there’s more to it than that but this is the part that matters here). The problem is that if you enlarge a human brain to the size it would be inside the Exceed would it still be able to function normally? The electrical impulses of the brain would have to increase in voltage of course though the Exceed has access to the boost dimension so that wouldn’t really be a problem. However, I don’t know enough about the mechanisms of the brain to say if that would have an effect on the host but I do remember that greater surface area results in better functionality, which is why our brains have folds. Sho didn’t seem effected by this, his thought processes and intelligence seemed consistent with his normal state that could be explained as a function of the Control Metal, though greater intellectual capacity seems like a plus in a fight to me. Like I said, I don’t really know if any of this would have an effect but I thought I should put it out there anyway. I’ve kinda veering off topic with this so to address the original point, can we even say there is a height/weight ratio now that we’ve all pretty much agreed that the Exceed isn’t just a scaled up version of the Gigantic. I mean without knowing the inner structure or composition of the Exceed we can’t really take about ratios without something to compare it with and since the Exceed doesn’t have the exact same structure as the Gigantic we can’t us it as a comparison. Really we’ll have to wait for Guyver 3 or the female Guyver (if she can) to use the Exceed before any real comparison can be made regarding height to weight.
  14. My history is so bad and I forgot Balcus was only 400 but look at him, you see how I could make that mistake. You’re right though, even now women in military roles aren’t equal but the irony is that Guyot’s indifference to life, rather than his modern up bringing, that would make him more likely to allow women into Chronos but for the wrong reasons. I can’t imagine a megalomaniac like him taking gender, race or creed into consideration, “all will fight and die for my ends” that’s his view of equality, we’re all equally entitled to serve him. I’m not sure what Imakirum’s position would be, he’s a modern man but I guess he wouldn’t care ether way, all he does seem to care about is Arkenfel. To be honest I don’t think there is a gender exclusion rule in modern day Chronos anymore but there probably was one in the early days…what would really help is a copy of Chronos’ recruitment policy.
  15. Another issue to consider is the host, if the Exceed were just an energy filled shell then that would mean the host, and the host’s brain, would have to be converted to energy so the Control Metal wouldn’t have anything to attach too. I think that’s something we need to remember, the Control Metal has to be connected to the host’s brain in order for the Guyver, and by extension the Gigantic and Exceed, to function. I’ve been thinking about that and I’ve come up with a theory, this doesn’t really effect any of the other theories in this thread as it only deals with the Control Metal and the host’s brain. Anyway, we have some understanding about the Control Metal and what it does but what if the method by which the Gigantic becomes Exceed requires constant regulation to maintain. Such regulation is not a normal function of the Control Metal so, because the brain has to scale up to be attached to the Control Metal the Exceed uses the excess brain mass to form pathways for the regulation of the Exceed. This would allow an oversized brain to function normally, as the original brain mass is isolated from the mutated mass by the Control Metal connection. I now it’s a bit out there but no matter how the Exceed is achieved the Control Metal/brain interaction will have to be resolved.
  16. I absolutely agree but such archaic view may not permeate all of the older Zoalords, Krumeggnic in particular (if I’m right about something). I realize Krumeggnic seems to be African but for some reason he gives me the impression that he is Egyptian, I don’t know why exactly just something about that face pant (unless its to do with him being a Zoalord). Anyway, if he does trace his origins to ancient Egypt then that would be a plus for female Chronos employees because, according to a documentary, women enjoyed more equality then they do in our society. So, providing Krumeggnic isn’t actually African, then at least one of the old Zoalords wouldn’t have a problem with women in Chronos. Even if that isn’t the case, in the interests of fairness bare in mind that the ills of a society aren’t the ills of every individual in it and vice versa. Also, a progressive society doesn’t always breed progressive people and I think I’ll stop with the pseudo-metaphors now.
  17. I don’t want to be the one that says, “it can be big because it just can” but Takaya using suspension of disbelief to sidestep the size issue is a possibility. After all he is a fan of movies that require you to ignore the fact that things growing that big would be subject to every issue previously razed in this thread. It is entirely possible that one or more of our theories is the method by which the Exceed overcomes these problems but this is a fictional entity we’re taking about. We all have to keep the deus-ex-machena (I think that’s how its spelt), the Exceed can be that big because it’s an alien super armor, idea in mind. I hope it isn’t though. On a cheerier note, I like the idea of the Ark being an enemy in of itself, that would be cool.
  18. Well that makes sense as far as the Zoalords go, there have been several female leaders throughout history so it stands to reason that among the entire population there would have been suitable female candidates. However, the lack of female troopers may not be due to prejudice but Chronos’ recruitment system. It takes a certain kind of person to willingly work for an organization like Chronos, ruthless, murderous and basically inhuman (no pun intended). Due to the restrictive nature of women’s lives during Balcus’ time, women with these qualities tended to get dealt with more readily than their male counterparts so suitable recruits would have been harder to find. Then again I am just speculating and of course that doesn’t apply to modern times so maybe there is no rule that women can’t be Zoaformed its just no one has yet (in Chronos).
  19. Actually, if you think about Guyver is much more conservative than its contemporaries as far as nudity was concerned. If you look a the OVA, which is typical of Anime of that time, Valcuri (a female character inserted for sex appeal only) takes a shower right after being introduced. Compare that to the slightly more original accurate series and you’ll notice the only to nude scenes aren’t completely redundant to the plot, ok we real didn’t need to burst in on Mizuki changing. However, if I was Aptom and I wanted to get Sho mad, striping Mizuki with my blades would seem like a good way to do it. I’m not sure if this applies to the Manga as I can’t think of any other Manga in Guyver’s categories to compare it to but another thing to consider is that Takaya could be trying to distance himself from his more sexually orientated work to the point of overcompensation. Understandable if he wants to be taken seriously in the mainstream but after so lone he seems to be easing up a bit with the inclusion of the female Guyver (a bold decision considering the connections that could be made to that unfortunate OVA).
  20. I hadn’t thought of that but yeah it could just have been a one off, I mean it would make fighting the “regular” sized Zoalords kinda anticlimactic if Sho just activated the Exceed and crushed them. Still, with Apollion and the female Guyver it could be a while before either Sho or Agito actually have a fight. Plus there is the possibility that one of the unrevealed Zoalords could have a giant, and if so probability more powerful than Khan’s, Zoaform. Who knows what could happen but I think we’ll see the Exceed again, I have a feeling there are one or two more tricks up its massive, bio-mechanical sleeve for us to see.
  21. The colour scheme having some relation to the function of the Exceed isn’t entirely impossibly but it could all just be a design theme for the artwork. However, for the sake of argument let’s say the colour schemes of the Guyvers and their upgrades have in-universe relevance beyond artistic design. This doesn’t discount the highlighted areas having significance theory but it seems to me that the colour scheme of a Guyver is determined by its host (subconsciously), like the armor’s facial design. Guyver 0 was green, Guyver 1 is blue, Gigantic 1 is gold/yellow, Guyver 2 was dull yellow, Guyver 3 is black in both cases and the new female Guyver is probably purple like the OVA version. So it is a shaky theory but on the other hand it would make sense, from creative perspective, to make aspects of the Gigantic and Exceed that have importance to be visually recognizable. I’m confident there will be a data file on the Exceed at some point but how informative it will be is anybody’s guess.
  22. It is also possible that all of these methods are being used somehow, because as I see it the one thing I think we all agree on is that something that is ten feet tall growing to fifty-two meters is a complicated process. Perhaps it is too complex for any one of our theories to wholly cover every aspect of the Exceed necessitating a multi-tiered method of growth. I will say this though about the Exceed’s apparent indestructibility, that could just be down to the Exceed being superior to Dragon Lord. However, it was never hit by its ultimate purgatorum beam and there are still more powerful enemies to face so I guess time will tell, though it wouldn’t be very dramatic to make the hero invincible. I know this isn’t something anybody wants to hear but it is also possible that this growth method is something none of us thought of, but I’m sure that’s very unlikely…I’m sorry please don’t hurt me.
  23. Well first off, I realize I was stretching biological possibility rather thin but in my defense a Guyver doesn’t function like any other living thing, it has no working digestive for a start. However I think the infused energy idea works but I still think that there are some biological alterations taking pace as well. If I might venture a slightly different theory though, the actual size is achieved through cellular increase and bolstered but energy infusion with some slight internal structural alterations. I also like the quantum entanglement theory and I can’t really think of any reason that it wouldn’t work just that the instability issue may make it a bit iffy for a combat oriented creature. Something else to consider is that the Exceed’s gravity orbs where glowing to, so that might account for some of the strain. I could be possible that the Exceed constantly manipulates the gravity field around it so that the excess strain on its body is reduced just enough for its body’s structure to function and still allow it to access its gravity based weapons. A bit if a convenient answer I know but it would solve the weight problem. I wasn’t suggesting that the Exceed was some random mutation, by the way, but that the Gigantic and Exceed where distinct like the Guyver and the Gigantic. However I still consider them all to be just upgrades of the Guyver not separate things but enhancements of the central entity.
  24. Well yes it does but I obviously failed to explain it right so I’ll try to address every point you brought up as clearly as possibly. What I meant when I explained about the issues of the Gigantic being around 10 feet tall was that, just as the Guyver alters its host internally, the Gigantic alters the host further to allow for its size increase and thus even further alterations are made as Exceed. I should point out that I’m taking the Exceed to be a new form not just a bigger version of the Gigantic even though there is no obvious external difference aside from the colour (and size). Well we can’t really apply the biological restraints of the host if we except that the Guyver, Gigantic and Exceed alter the host when they are utilized. The problem with your second point is that it implies that the properties of the Gigantic remain the same when it becomes Exceed but that isn’t what I’m saying. In fact it is the exact opposite, the Gigantic and the Exceed are (for all they look the same) actually completely different. An example would be a cat and a tiger, they have several common traits but biologically speaking they are very separate (not the best example for this argument but it’s the best I could think of). Remember that Dragon Lord was humanoid, well close enough to make the pint that any design issues at that scale would probably apply to it a well. If on the other hand you are only referring to the fact that the Exceed is humanoid well that only means that it has a humanoid outline and is not necessarily representative of its mechanics. Think of all the four-legged animals in the world and consider the different ways the function, barring in mind that none of them had an alien symbiotic guiding their design to the peek combat form. There is no reason a humanoid structure couldn’t function on such a scale it just couldn’t have a human’s internal structure. You seem to have misunderstood me about the joints thing, you see internal skeletons have joints to allow for movement but an external skeleton requires gapes. If there were no gapes between the individual skeletal plates then the animal would find it impossible to move because every point of articulation would be held in place by the surrounding skeletal structure. An external skeleton is both armor and a skeletal structure except it holds things together whereas an internal skeleton holds them up, essentially they both provide a foundation for the rest of the body they just do it in different ways. I’m not sure of all the benefits and drawbacks of an external skeleton but the most obvious is that it provides protection as armor but its does restrict movement more then bare flesh would. The exact pros and cons of external skeletons don’t really matter as a Guyver has both, as for as I now this has never happened in nature for one reason. Nature tends to get ride of redundancy and a duel skeletal structure is insanely redundant but it would also give that animal incredible durability. Well, like I said there has never been a real world example of this but an internal and external skeleton wouldn’t have to be directly connected to work. You see the internal skeleton has the muscle, flesh and organs built around it, acting as the core and the external skeleton contains the muscle, flesh and organs like skin, acting as the shell. You have to remember that the body is all interconnected like bricks cemented together so the issue of sheering is a mute point really as the body isn’t wholly dependent on one thin to hold it together. Plus we are talking about a creature that is built to survive the harshest conditions (as its original function was as a space suit), rapidly repair itself and is bounded to the bases for a weapon. Again this brings us to the fact that I think the Gigantic and the Exceed are different so even if the density of the Gigantic is integral it is still only integral to the Gigantic and not the Exceed. My theory is that the Exceed is different from the Gigantic in more than just colour and size but function as well. I think that the Exceed has weapons and abilities the Gigantic does not which further indicates that it is more then just a simple function of the Gigantic but an upgrade like the Gigantic itself.
  25. First I never dismissed the article, in fact it is correct if not for some slight mix-up about volume and mass, it just doesn’t apply to the Exceed. You see the whole point of the article is that giant ants and tiny people would have to function completely differently from their natural size for various reasons but the Exceed is hardly natural. I think it does more than just get bigger, I think it alters its entire internal structure to function on its Exceed scale just like the Guyver alters the host’s internal structure. And all external skeletal structures have gaps otherwise the thing wouldn’t be able to move, like if our skeletons didn’t have joints. I’m sticking to my theory that the Gigantic uses the power amps to power and maintain an increase in cellular mass, it would require more power to create the new cells than maintain them which is why the amps balloons during growth. However it doesn’t just grow it alters its, already robust, internal structure to coupe with the additional strains placed on its body. The strongest evidence for this is the Gigantic itself, at around ten feet tall a human would be subject to all manner of health problems. In fact the tallest man to ever live (so far) was only nine feet tall and he suffered from several ailments due to his height and it is generally excepted that very tall people (six feet +) tend to have poorer coordination. The point is that the Gigantic is obviously compensating for these issues so it is reasonable to assume that it can do the same for the Exceed.
