So the Guyver/Aptom combo is being used again, huh? That's cool, I was hoping it wasn't just a one off thing since it was so cool looking. I wonder how it would look with the Gigantus? Calling it now, the final battle is going to have Aptom combining with the Exceed.

Yes I understand that, I've been working it out with Ryuki and I've asked my cousin to pay for it for me and I'll pay him back when I can and he will be the one that gets the actual book since he can read Japanese and I owe him for getting into manga and Guyver in the first place. Sigh, ok I guess I should explain why I was being such a bitch about this whole thing. I love Guyver, it is a great series and it has had a big influence on my life. I got interested in science because of Guyver, in particular biology, and the characters are really interesting and well I guess I don't need to explain why Guyver is good as a series here but on a personal level it means a lot to me. So when it seemed like I was going to loose it because of my situation well it felt like um well the carrot on the string I guess. Plus well...Mizuki was one of my first crushes and well I didn't want my actual situation to come out, no pun intended, because of all this. Yeah so pretty much everything I said regarding this situation was fuelled by...the implications of my above statement, so um yeah.

Sigh you know you shouldn't give a lecture about the evils of piracy to some one that never downloads anything but one manga because it isn't sold in shops and in include an admission of pirating something readily available to buy legally, is weakens you stance. First of all you are twisting my words, I was quiet clear that if I COULD get it I would. But as I've said before I CAN'T. I looked into that Western Union thing and I can't use it cause they need photo D which I don't had! I'm not stealing anything because no one is selling me anything. The Guyver manga isn't being sold in English so no profits are being lost. If there are no legitimate means but I still want the product and there is a means of getting it then I don't see what's wrong with that? Oh and buy the way, you aren't exactly selling at cost. Manga's are only 6.99 here and I'm only really paying for the translation in the end. Anyway, my point is I shouldn't have to loose out when I don't have to.

not really, I think if that was the only reason it would be petty. quite simply, for too long we have been reading Manga for free. Guyver advocacy has been responsible for westerners being able to read guyver for free. is that fair? if we make it possible for westerners to read guyver then shouldn't we pay the appropriate price? I believe that is fair. we are all responsible, me included. I consume things for free when I should be paying for it. there is a big problem in our global society and I think we ought to start trying to fix it. I don't think anyone should be finding issue with a pre-order, even when what we are supplying alongside the pre-order is an advance look at what will be in the book. how many of us buy monthly shonen ace...? I understand that people have financial burdens and difficulties, but let's please keep the right perspective. That's all well and good except in this case we don't have any other options. If there was a translated version of Guyver available in shops I would be buying it instead of downloading it here because I would rather have a physical copy then a digital on and I do that with everything else. The fact is that the publishers have chosen not to market their product in the English market and as such downloading the manga here has no effect on profits for it. That being said I'm not apposed to supporting Takaya but I don't see the point in withholding translations when it means people like me without the means to buy the manga can't enjoy it. If I could buy it, actually I'd rather have a physical copy, I would but I can't and it doesn't seem fair that I should suffer because of it.

Thanks for the help. I don't particularly like having to go through all this just for a translation but I guess I have no other option. Not sure exactly when I'll be able to work all this out, sigh. Is this all really necessary? I mean I get wanting to support the product but there isn't an official English release so it isn't like any money is being lost by us downloading it?

I'm not going to get into the Zoalord sex thing. However it is worth noting that with the exception of No.5 none of these reasons apply to Zoanoids, just saying there ain't no reason to have more women in Chrono's.

I love Mizuki's reactions and expressions in this chapter, she's just hilarious. XD I like that the girls are getting a little more screen err panal time lately, Shizu's chapter was really cool and Mizuki really stoll this chapter for me plus it's nice to see her freaking out and just getting annoyed at all the weird stuff she's been through as it reminds me of how she was back in the beginning.

I'm going to assume that there was an off-screen chat between Sho and Agito that we'll see more of, probably through Sho thinking about whats happened and stuff. Honestly though I was to destracted by how amazing Shizu was in this chapter. She was sexy, cute (that dress was just perfect on her) and so full of character, blushing and being contemplative of her role in the fight and those that died as a result. I'm so in love with her right now it's crazy, she completely stoll this chapter IMO.

I've only watched the first part but three things stood out. One, Agito's character is expanded in the series but the fact that we never really know if he's a good guy or not is sort of the point of his character, especially given later events. Two, X-day is completely plossible since Chronos not only has the means to rig elections but can also simple Zoa-form every potental candidate since they don't need to be complisite in the plan since Zoalords can control Zoanoids, a fact that is shown in the show so they don't even have the excuse of not knowing that. Three, and this is sort of a major one that seems like a miner point. Murikami's gun. It doesn't matter if it is to big for a human to fire since, and there is no way anyone who has seen the show can't know this, he isn't human.

Eight Mode C blasts going off is pretty scary but considering what Guyot has lived through before, I don't see this doing anything other than slowing him down.

I don't know about the other two combinations but the Libertas don't stand a chance against Quadriga. Seriously, it's a giant spider with bio-lasers and it's got Richard freaking Guyot attached to it. The Libertas should just go strate to mode C and get it overwith!

There have been a lot of comments about the Creators and their intention for humanity (I didn't quote because this thing would be a mile long) but that was a long time ago and modern humans are very diffrent to the ones the Creators would have been working on. What I mean is that from the point where the Creators left too the events of Guyver, humans have been developing indipendantly of the Creators to the point that humans aren't the ultimate weapons we were. It makes sense to give weapons the ability to think, adapt and support allies but the Creators would have regulated these traits, but without them humans developt less desirable traits, as weapons that is, such as compasion and empithy. This also explains the human tendancy to factionise without a clear enemy we are still programed to fight. It's good to keep in mind that this is aplying fictional factors to real world humans, of course real world humans are the way we are because of natural evolution and socio-psychological factors so we should draw a line between use and the humans of the Guyver. Though it is still an interesting thought exercise.

I have a thought, what if all of Aptom’s cells act as backup information for his brain, like his body is a hard drive and his brain is the processor (yes I’m aware in reality the brain is both but it’s just a metaphor). This would make data storage easier for the cell because, unlike a brain cell, it wouldn’t have to process the data or provide access for more until Aptom’s brain regenerates.

What about Aptom? He said himself that he couldn't absorbe Zoalords or Guyvers because of their Zoa-crystals and Control Metals respectively, though that doesn't exactly mean a Guyver couldn't bond with a Zoalord with a Zoa-crystal but it is something to think about. Just a thought, what if the Control Metal replaced that Zoa-crystal and fused with the Zoalord rather than return to the boost dimention with the rest of the armor?
