Mostly because medicine, war, and overly large populations have slowed down evolution for the most part. With mars, the situation will be very similar once colonization starts since there will be a constant flow of that same DNA from earth preventing evolution, with medicine and a gradually large population wiping it out. Scientists have pointed out that humanity is no longer evolving, or simply evolving in such a tiny crawl that it will never take hold. Hence my reasoning. I was reading the manga transformers, they had an interesting concept of colonizing mars. Sending Algae and roaches to slowly terraform the planets air and surface.

I think they gave him the elephant feet because of all the Godzilla science spewed out about how he might actually support his weight like that. Unlike Zilla, who would of collapsed under his own mass. On a note, Godzilla was already chubby in various incarnations.

may I suggest...if we think about how the megasmsher works or how we think it works, it accelerates particles by use of those funny round organelles inside the lenses. now, while the megasmasher is a particle cannon and accelerates particles by using the lenses, could it not use the mechanism to accelerate the ice blast through use of whatever energy and forces it uses? in that scenario, we may be able to call it a combo whilst not being a full fusion? That's what i was thinking, that one of the only areas the Guyver has a big obvious source of energy that could be interfaced with and is actually accessible. Sho might of allowed his chest plate to open enough that Aptom can slide some of his body into it to draw upon energy. I think it's the case since Aptom can produce more body heat than the Guyver (Derzerb's DNA folks) so that's not a potent energy source. The only other option is the control medal, but we have yet to see any ability between thosetwo to use it as an energy source.

So it's a race? Here I thought it would be stalemate, which is admittedly wrong since i didn't account for the speed of infection that either would have. Also, might have to factor who's cells might tire out. We don't have data on that second aspect, but all organisms have a limit, even Guyver and Aptom.

Though I wonder if by Zoanoids, they mean transformed zoanoids, not the human form. Zoanoids are vastly larger than normal form humans.

Probably someone who had seen the the classic one and thought no better.

Come on, we;'re friends here, let's get along. So Guyver lent some of his power to Aptom? How the heck? I can't recall a single interface point unless Aptom invaded the Guyver system or something? Since it came from the chest, do you suppose Aptom siphoned from under the Guyver's chestplate, via megasmasher? The only other time we took note of Guyver's other energy sources was with him using access body heat, which I don't think applies, nor would allow for such a massive boost. Regardless, this Guyver/Aptom combo is far more awesome in combat than 3 squads of Hypers.

It was part of the theme, but yes maybe too much focus. Though I really like the added Liskar stuff, it was great. I feel it could've been done better ,of course.

That's provided the parasite doesn't absorb Aptom. The Guyver form is a mix of human flesh and bioboosted flesh. Aptom might be able to override the human cells, but probably be in a stalemate with the bioboosted aspect. Would be interesting though if they could merge.

you would think that with the OVA intro. Yet they need need physical ships, physical suits, all of this being of biological technology that fuses one way or another to it's user. It's safe to say they are physical beings, but probably limited in war potential. from what we gather, they needed muscle for war... a long war or preparing for one. They certainly had the patience, and were easily scared of their own works. We don't know if they were long lived, or generations, or multiple species, or a combination of all those aspects. But one thing is for certain, they needed soldiers, and didn't want to risk their lives or were simply unsuited for the task. After so many years, I really had hoped to learn a little more about them, but we don't need anymore branching plots. Also... why Sho or Agito haven't seen them is beyond me. Since both had after all, seen the recorded imagery of those periods.

Considering the series was canceled for a short while, I'm just glad there is even a bit of work being made. Though, it's fairly bizarre that such little material is churned out monthly. Even then we usually only get 10 months a year of said material. What is he, a father of 6 kids or something? maybe 3 jobs, maybe an animator? We can only wonder.

The Most Evil Villian I've Ever Encountered

Haitani, Zetman. Granted, most of Zetman's characters are horrific beings, but Haitani is special for standing out way above all of them, and it's not just because of screen time. He's managed to kill more people than the Joker in a surprisingly short amount of time. He doesn't seem insane, joking about as he sends his men out for a massacre, only to betray everyone for his own entertainment (And secret agenda) as he goads our heroes. -
Wrong translation filter my friend. Adeu.

Up until WWII the population was mostly devoid of Russians. After Russia won it's side of the second World War, it departed much of the population to break it's unity, and to force labor/kill/punish segments of the population, and recolonized it with Russians. So in essence, up until the last century, people in that region were still traditionally living there for at least for several centuries is a mix of Ukrainians and Slavs. Even the Tartar peoples who invaded that region in the 1400's still remain there to this day despite the Soviet actions. It's very much like what happened to Poland over the last 300 years. Ironically enough, the Ukraine too was once of Poland and eventually split apart. Crimea's last national identity was as the Crimean Khanate, a Tartar dominated islamic nation, which was destroyed some 250 years ago, I think.

The Most Evil Villian I've Ever Encountered

Remember Owl man in one of the DC movies? He at first seems like just another evil Batman counterpart until you learn about his plans to wipe out all existence... everything, all universes/realities, thus all life. He's voiced by James Woods in a oddly charming, logical, and eerily distant manner. "First I'll Kill you, then, ...everyone else" His motive for wiping everything out? Because he wants to make a decision that actually has a solid effect on reality. Whatever decisions one makes, someone out there in a different universe has already made the opposite. Thus there are infinite universes based of all decisions anyone at any point made. So his rationale is that by destroying it all, he made the one decision no one could replicate or deviate from. Note, it's not to be evil, it's not to serve a purpose, or even a real goal. It's simply so it fits a single logic he's devised. -

Loosely based. To fairly different in tons of ways, actually more Three Dimensional than Hitler. Also, he notably thinks art is worthless. -
Well this is a worrying turn. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26679240 All people born in the Crimea who refuse to accept Russian citizenship will be declared foreigners. Also the language over there will be Russian, TV Russian, everything Russian. It seems the minorities, even the ones before Russians started living there will be forced to adapt.

Genetic manipulation? Possible. As for evolution, still might not happen thanks to the same reasons we haven't been evolving on earth over the last centuries. On the other hand, evolution or even forced self made genetic manipulation can be a sort of venue for evolution through.

First of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2. yeah I know, Koei action games are awful, but it's kinda fun in that it's got some of the same aspects as GodHand... just, badly done. But it has lots of characters. Planet Side 2. I play it limited, and it's got some messed up lag, unbalanced gameplay, and lots of grinding, but the scale of the battles are awesome. Oh and Juza is awesome... XD

The Most Evil Villian I've Ever Encountered

Oh he does bring some fond memories of villains I enjoyed hating. There are a select few, some real life ones like Stalin being more horrible than fiction, then again one of my person favorite's is Pheaton from Exosquad. For a saturday morning cartoon character, he somehow makes some of the more memorable villains on film and tv look like chumps. Let's see, an eight feet tall Neo-Sapien (New Man) He is is stronger than five men, but that is not what he's famous for, as he rarely ever fights. His intelligence and charisma are is strengths. Phaeton managed to patiently gain power after betraying his own people to survive. He then gained political power and government on Mars. He then patiently planned out and built up an army, tricked the human interstellar Exofleet to wipe out the pirates while he swiftly took over Earth, Venus Earth and Mars. He enslaved humanity, nearly destroyed it's hope, exofleat, which became nothing more than a weak fugitive tattered fleet. He enslaved humanity, and started brutalizing them into extinction. He proved to be as big a survivor and selfish as Guyot, and eventually started to go insane after some setbacks and critical injury (from falling off the tallest mountain on Mars and later lava no less). He managed to hold on to power, eventually disregarding his own species life, eventually all life in the solar system, building doomsday devices, and killing his own generals and replacing them with clones. He even began hideous experiments to replace his own species with superior thinkers and mismatched chimera warriors until he also disregarded them. His madness new no bounds, and he was single handed responsible for wiping out most of the life in the solar system with the war he started. He held on to power for a long time despite limited numbers, and to this day, I cannot think of any villain who was more responsible for death in such a few short years when compared to say, characters on Dune who took centuries to pull off the same feats. He even persisted despite a slow painful illness eating away at his mind and body. Crazy thing is, he nearly won at every turn too... -
The anime seemed to of cut out all the action for budget reasons. Almost all the fights were pretty low animation, it wasn't until the latter half episodes we saw some really fantastic animation. I think it also went through the story too fast because it did cut the action. We can understand why though, the series is old and considered cliche by Japanese media. At that point, they didn't care to invest in it like they did to shows like SNK. Heck, it's sad when the fillers for bleach and naruto had better budgets than the 2005 anime.

suddenly recall when the late 80's to early 90's. Manga was popular enough to create not only the Guyver movie, but also the Hokuto No Ken movie, and a few others. It doesn't have the popularity, you'd need a director with some leverage to really go for the movie, or an investor.

Yeah, you'd have to exercise more, and increase you're intake. But it's far less trouble to maintain your health than actual zero gravity.
