  1. not so, well according to the PBS genetic history oh humanity program a few years ago. The entire research managed to prove every single human race from every corner of the world that they were related by finding at least one person within each of them who's had an direct uninterrupted male heritage. This history went back tens of thousands of years. You don't need two peoples sets of DNA to prove your related to one person at one point. Maybe to complete a family tree, but not prove a common heritage as stated by the PBS hosted research they stated they couldn't do the same research with females at all. I didn't realize about the mitochondrial. I ended up researching the DNA and learned nothing special about it as it functions much the same as male DNA. The exception being that it's actually got more DNA and can rapidly change. But I have to admit that just because a lineage is easier to trace through male DNA, I guess it doesn't actually give any real foundation for my theory. It just sounded like a good idea at the time.
  2. There are a ton of websites that post info and art based off those books. Even magazines related to Anime use them too. I loved watching the G Gundam series... it's silly and uses tons of stereotypes and cookie cutter characters. But it's such a guilty pleasure to watch thanks to all the bravado, overtop personalities, cool music, and cooler gundams. Just got to wonder, why the hell did my country have to have the killer clown in a junky jester themed mobile suit? Aww well, so long as it wasn't turned into a robot version of Henry the Navigator, A giant pig, or some pirate themed gundam. XD
  3. It could matter when it comes to the Guyver though the Guyver OVA movie had a female guvyer on equal grounds with a male guyver... then again it was sho. A Guy who really couldn't put up much of a fight and was more likely to fight like steve urkel then a warrior (seriously, he pokes the eyes out of zoanoids at one point instead of simply outright killing them efficiently). So we don't really know for sure how equals would be in terms of skill. I think it applies to zoanoids too to some degree on how females effect zoaforming... come to mind I think I may have hit on an explanation for the lack of female zoaforms. I remembered something about both the Guyver story and human Genetics. Human genetic trails can only be traced through direct male descendants. So if you want to track people who may have a genetic relation to someone who shared the same father 10,000 years ago, you'd need to test males to do so because females wouldn't have the genes. Now when Zoanoids interbred with humans, the zoanoid bloodlines thinned to nearly extinction with only a few natural born zoanoids popping up occasionally through out history. Now, what if those few individuals capable of zoaforming are all males because they had direct male ancestors to those original zoanoids, meanwhile the females lacked that same set of genes. This could mean that only males were the most potent and easiest candidates to be zoaformed. Males with broken male lines could probably only have trace amounts and to be zoaformed, directs were more likely to be hyper zoanoid candidates, and others who've had too many female generations before a male child popped up may be some of the few who are incapable of be zoaformed. Meanwhile females tend to lack the needed material or are too difficult to zoaform in great numbers. Just a theory.
  4. You guys want me to add in the Japanese names of the americanized Gundam names?

He probably noticed them a suspecious number converging at one point while the others went in different directions. "and got stoned aptom." dude, you got me imagining Aptom stoned now. XD Aptom: "Sho man, the universe spoke to me man. I went like WOW, then the universe went WOW, and then were were like both... WOW"
  6. Okay, enough about the crotch related talk. Let's review something about the differences in men and Women. Men physically are usually bigger, more durable, and biological they naturally have about 40% of their mass in muscle, while a woman normally has about 35%. Even if a woman worked out, chanced are that 99% of the men out there will always outproduce her in the strength department. Men also have major short bursts over power and will typically throw all they have into the start of the fight. Men also biologically have lots of testosterone when compared to women, and testosterone can a big difference in how a person operates in physical conditions. Men also seem to be tougher as they often can ignore pain or not even notice injuries thanks to Adrenalin. Women tend to be much smaller and as I pointed out naturally less muscle mass. But unlike men, they aren't as prone into using up all of their strength up within the first few minutes, they tend to spread out their use of power and can last a bit longer at the expense of the energy they use up. Women are always underestimate, especially in boxing, but women actually tend to be equally powerful boxers to men despite the difference in mass and muscle. A man in a similar size and build to a woman might find himself beaten by an equally good female boxer thanks to the low center point of gravity. This low center point of gravity often generates much more of a build in power in the legs that travel to an arm to create an effective punch (The science of boxing), this low center of gravity also helps women with acrobatics as it often helps then land in their feet better (Though a man can probably liften himself up faster and easier) and are much more flexible then men who's build and less wider hips usualy prevent more flexible movements in certian arts. I got a lot of this info from a college teacher in how human bodies function, and the boxing from some of the science beyond it that was explained to me a while back. I(we) could be worng, but I think it's accurate.
  7. I don't think we've seen enough of the gigantics barrier at work to make any accurate guesses. I could handle Neo ZX-Tole, don't remember much about the fight with Imikirum, thus I don't know if it stood up to any gravity bullets, energy attacks, or other attacks he may of used.
  8. you never noticed Toku? The tentacles are still there, it's basically merged with your skin and still moves every so often. I'm pretty sure those things are in each and every centimeter of your body. If you can't accept that, then remember the transformation, that's a hell of a lot of stuff "forcing" itself into all your pores.
  9. I always figured the transformation and mass gain was from rapid cellular growth and protein metamorphosis. Using base structures of proteins and DNA encoded to the body to suddenly begin transformations by causing the entire body to start rapidly dividing cells and huge metabolism spurts. Problem with zoanoids is explaining where all that energy came from. I then remembered that there are multiple processes to complete a zoalord. Maybe one of the sources was a method of cutting back on the energy used, and possibly creating a biological battery from which they can draw upon. I figured the lost likely places would be stored in muscle in fat, but it could also be the brain, but much more highly condensed then normal. When it's time to destransform, they simply breakdown the cells and add all the access energy, proteins, and other chemical makeups back into this energy storage method. Even with my theory and others, I have to wonder how they would maintain such energy... if you were gregole 24/7, I'd expect you to be like a lion, eating much more weight then your own body. So i have to wonder how they sustain their own bodies.
  10. lol the riding up thing killed me. Though I don't think it's the armor that would be uncofortable. I leave that to the tentacles squirming in your anus.
  11. You know, they had a story about Buddha and it revolved around him and some cat in a painting...
  12. am I the only one who noticed the resemblence between the bottom cat of Razell's post and Big Pun the late rapper? oh and...
  13. Any religion or organization that makes it a crime or simply taboo to question aspects and ideas of the faith are inherently flawed. The same goes for any religion or organization that claims that some person elected to or who buys the office is the emissary to any one god or gods or the sole arbiter of the nations laws. As you become aware of the control and restricting of open ideas or worse... voicing them, then you should immediately know something is horribly wrong. I take the same horrible examples held in those above mentioned ideals and organizations and apply the same ridicule to religion in order to avoid the same narrow minded trap so many People fall prey too. Hence my love of this quote by an unnamed individual in regards to religion... I'm a little sleepy here, so my mode of thought here is possibly irregular, and I'm partially not sure what I'm typing. My point is that many religions have basis off those above mentioned groups. In fact, I'd wager my life's worth that they'd all eventually ended up becoming prominent religions over time. Hitler would of no doubt ended up being German Messiah of a Christian based religion with militaristic and aggressive Muslim like ideals (Hitler often commented that he wished German's followed a Muslim religion for favorable views in war.) Stalin's government basically had him as a living god... much like a Pharaoh who treated his subjects as slaves of labor, willingly working them to death, all in a while they prayed for the pharo...err I mean Stalin to save them from the death camps he sent them to... of course they had no idea they were their to work and die from his orders. Mao wanted to be revered as much as a god, and in a sense he and his family are treated as if royalty in china. The Kim's ARE gods as far as anyone is concerned in north Korea. Now, if you look back in history, you got the same things appearing throughout various peoples. The Popes of old were merciless men acting like gods on earth in gods name. Kings and emperors were no different from Divine beings, and one could never question ideas, laws, war, or even faith for that matter. All this to be god or control god. Today's question about god is as much about him existing at all as much as it is about choosing to believe who's message about god you should follow.
  14. I was expecting it to be crappy like G Gundam (I love G Gundam, but it is still crap) and a lame imitation of Gundam Wing. I was pleasantly surprised, and I'm so glad the characters tend to be older then just puberty stricken murderous teenagers in Gundams. Just got pissed that they started to kill all of the older characters towards the end... what is it with Anime hating older male leads and chubby people? Also, it's the most realistic of the Gundams so far.
  15. You know, you may be right about us not earning it... but if you think about it. All of the worlds progress has mostly been achieved by the ambitions of the few. Even if these Elite are horrible monsters, they may in turn give us a better world through their ambitions. Alexander the great loved to conquer and take over the world, and did everything he could to build a great empire. It may not of been his intentions... but he opened up a lot of ideas, trade, understanding of different peoples by intermixing his soldiers with different races/peoples. They in turn prospered up until shortly after his death. I would prefer and naturally would like to have a world where the common man was responsible, but even the USA had to rely on several incredible men to get these ideas out. The only reason we turned out as well as we did is because they were remarkable human beings (with some exceptions since they didn't few some People as human.... unfortunately). Their moral character was usually very impressive despite their flaws and standard thinking from that era. Look at Henry Knox, the guy lost all his livelihood when his bookstore was burned down, but he still went through the efforts of paying off the men he was in dept too despite it, and he could even of disappeared and avoided paying it thanks to the war. Later on he carried that same moral compass into government and paid off all of the countries debts and turned around the economy. Lot's of People were against this, and simply wanted to erase and ignore the debt, but he insisted in paying due's. Unfortunately, there may not be a single Elitist out there with the same moral compass, and even if they have one, they could easily be stupid or misguided.
  16. Man, I finally caught up to the episodes of Mobile suit Gundam 00. Lockon... Noooooeeess! To top it all off, the only likable member of Trinity, Johann, died too. Oh, and I just remembered another one that tugged at me pretty good. It didn't make me cry since I rarely cry in anime. But it still hit me. Natsume's death in Generator Gawl.

thanks, though lots of People have treated me as if I was hostile towards religion oddly enough. Religion is nice, just not when it's warped by certain people. I was recalling something about old Jewish Folklore. They follow the book of the old testament. But there are other stories aside from it, ones that aren't part of the canon story. For example, Lilith was Adams first wife and mate, but was cast out of the Garden before Eve was created. She ends up being with Able centuries later and birthing the monsters and fiends that haunt humanity since both were sinners. It's not i the bible for old Testament, could it be that jews prefer not teachign this as mainstream because the concept of divorce? Also, I wonder why the GOD, the christian version doesn't have a name? He has adozen different names between Jews and Islamic folk, so why not Christianity?

Well, I have been called an Atheist... though I still follow the message of Christ, and most of the Ten commandments. I just don't do the prayers or worship god anymore. But in a sense I am still christian. Though I think I can either be called a Free Thinker, yet, you can call me the Antichrist for all I care, because I don't want to be associated with anyone. I just don't like the functions of organized religion, simple because People are often told to and raised to believe every word that someone in charge of your sect preaches... well at least mine did. Not sure about all others, but a good number of them do. Most also tell you and make rules saying you must have blind faith in their methods, or otherwise it's a sin. I just find that very hard to tolerate. Oh and "manipulating People to a fair degree" can be considered an understatement. Weren't all the crusades enticed by the idea of salvation? Thousands of People marched, without armor, weapons, food to go into a battle because they were promised heaven if they did this and so forth. You wont see as much of that today as it was back then, but countless People died and left all they had being in their lives just for this one goal, to free the holy land, and if you fight for it and die, you go to heaven despite any sins you had. I have to say, it was a brilliant marketing strategy at the time. I was asked if I have faith in anything by a religious friend asking how the hell I can live with myself when I don't have faith in god, or any religion for that matter. My response was simple, I have no faith in god, just faith in my morals. It's cheesy and it ain't much, but It's me, it's my faith and though I miss blissful religious zeal, I'd rather be ostracized then stick with what I don't believe in. And yes, I know I sound sorta dreadful and hateful. I'm not hateful towards people, maybe myself and those why cause grief in life, but I do encourage People to follow their own faiths, even the religious type.

Being judgemental of unfactual beliefs that are forced on some People isn't a bad thing in my opinion. But I see what you mean. Alright, how about; "It's misleading to take the identities of others and pass off your own work as theirs to influence more people." It's dangerous to have People do that, to pass their ideas and work off in someone else's name... Friedrich Nietzsche was against antisemitic thinking, but his sister was pro. She altered and released his work with her ideas approving such thinking instead of judging and condemning it like he original intended. Hitler ended up agreeing with his sisters views, thus giving Friedrich Nietzsche an undeserved reputation as one of the men who helped Hitler Become a monster. It goes the same for the religious writing in my opinion.

All written material in the new testament such as the traveling apostles were written much later, and pretend to be written by the actual People who were supposed to life in that time period. Yet it was physically impossible for most, and those that could be remotely possible are disproved by the fact that it was all written centuries after the events described. It's dishonest to take the dishonest words of a pretender as fact, especialy if they have conflicting accounts.

you know, they made conventions to stop biological warfare. But still hasn't stopped the US from studying, developing, and even experimenting on the American population (in secret as it has been revealed recently). who said nanomachines have to function with advanced AI? simple programs to react to chemicals or attack certain objects like cancer is all that's needed. Currently they need to really be worked on and mass produced, but no need for advanced AI when it comes to this field just as it's getting started. The first prototype Nanomachine I read about was in popular science almost 8 years ago. I have to say that we can expect working ones in upcoming years, and productive ones within 3 decades. Anime and other media, just gives us more ideas as to how to use them. Right now we are trying to create new forms of energy through bacteria to create natural gas, imagine what nanomachines could do in that field if we develop them far enough.
  22. [goes into fake chronos elite mode again] well that really depends on the regime. Alexander the great wanted to conquer the entire world, but by being so greedy and ambitious, his subjects prospered. The same can be attributed to the elite in power. Eventually, uniting the world would lessen world conflicts and better resource management would occur. They would no longer have a need to start wars or human suffering, just maintain their wealth and power base by making sure they always keep the world at debt and it's regions in constant financial competition. Of course, you could claim they would still make life unbearable for the common man, or possibly even plan to continue selective suffering of People to maintain a common enemy to manipulate people. But this is why having fictional villains to fear over is ever the most useful too. Anyone countering this helping hand to a united humanity is of course both stupid, and an anarchist. Voltaire was right to point out that the masses were nothing more then a bunch of ignorant rats that needed the lead of a strong ruler to think for them since "Common sense is not so common." The world needs more Alexander the Greats, more Cao Cao's, more Napoleon's, more Philip IV of France, and many like minded individuals. [returns to normal] it's good to pretend to be the person favoring this type of world. In all seriousness, there is no telling how the world would be life under the control of such few. It's a gamble, and thus vary dangerous, and we've seen the results of families controlling the world for too long. Often leading to decay, war and the near destruction of the civilization. These People are either like Nero or Caligula if they truly exist... PS: Nero was a good leader, he's got an undeserved reputation.
  23. Saw the thread, then watched the whole thing. A video, like so many others talking about a real life version of chronos. It's a flawed work, and it will not be believed by the masses or even noticed. You'll only get a few intellectually stimulated People who will either agree or ridicule it. I agree with many of the concepts in the movie, but it lacks in much backing, and rips so much out of other projects that it's nothing new. All it has is a nice presentation, and lots of interesting topics and theories that have been sourced from other works and ideas. It's a great video overall, just wish they made some added comparisons and threw in details like Nixon's removal of media control limits. Maybe even comparisons to the roman coliseum to today's entertainment, and government with that of Romes and France's prior to it's revolution. Heck, it should even of pointed out that the War of Terror is a simple replacement for the USSR, Nazi Germany before that, Central Powers Before that, and Britain before that. Maybe they should of mentioned how many of these alleged elites are actually distant relatives from europe's royal families, mainly England's. In any case, I don't care. Even though what most of the movie says is true (to a degree at least) things wont change, because People fear change in power, are distracted in life, and anything countering it would be considered anarchists in the eyes of the media. Frankly, it's too much of a bother to remove what us already in power and not easily identified. Even if we remove the ones we know from power, or they end up degenerates due to constant eventual inbreeding (they would eventually inbreed if they really are that greedy, as it would keep the wealth and power in their respected families) [Goes into Fake Cronos Elite mode] Actually, a lot of People wouldn't mind having these elite around. The elite (If actually true) are inherently smarter (not counting bush, though his stupidity could be an act to prevent blame on him) then any of us thanks to their education, wealth and social standing. They have succeeded in uniting various countries that would normally be at constant war in exchange for a few small wars, and a couple of world wars. They have rapidly advanced human technology and standards of living by their methods, thus allowing blissful ignorance, gluttony, and degenerates to thrive while still allowing society to function pretty well. Although human life can be considered precious, killing a million to advance billions of lives isn't such a bad thing on paper, especially if it eventually leads to a unified world where wars will possibly no longer exist. Also, the application of such technology like chips would streamline the world and it's society, virtually ending crime, and making lives more efficient. Slavery... no actually, the term better describing it is Serfdom[.b]... has it's benefits... as it could potentially mean almost everyone on the planet would be on an equal standing, with only the elite being different, but their numbers would be so few, that it would be barely noticeable for most of humanity to complain about the quality of life.

After some time, I wouldn't be suprised if we lookedi nto Biological technology in the sense we grow houses and change the landscape with bacteria we created. Nano-tech, if we created well enough it will open a window to that option.

Amen to that brother. Now Guyver Season two I can pray for. Hell I'm willing to run down the my street naked while wearing only a priests color if that would give us a Season 2.
