sounds like you had a nice time in SF. it must have been a long journey! it is a shame they didn't have the back catalogue of books. I am sure they could special order them for you if you phoned them ahead of time. congratulations on doing well in your classes!

let's think about how the gigantic was made. the CM (and possibly the navi spheres that were linked to it) recorded data on the zoalords. the system then used the resources it had available to construct a system to protect against that foe. in this regard, the gigantic is not much different from the standard armour. it is a set of statistical data and schematics for a defensive/offensive system. at its core, it is the relic ship in a new configuration. the connection from gigantic to user is via the DCM and the way in which it connects, when as a ship, is through a beam of light and proximity. is the connection to gigantic, the same type of connection as when shou interfaced with the relic ship? in this case, it is a connection shou didn't have to begin with and is not necessarily designed to be a permanent connection. how does shou re-interface with it? he has some connection data. my thought on this, is that the connection/ interface with the relic ship, is a temporary one and specific to each user. if a unit were to go back to a dormant state, would a new user automatically have access to the relic ship? I don't think that makes sense. chances are, shou's unit had been activated before. if it retained the connection to the relic, then either shou or agito would have been able to communicate with the relic ship from afar before accessing it. now I'm actually correcting myself on the fly here, because i had assumed they had no connection with it, but now I think about how the door opened automatic ally for them. I guess I'll end my post here by asking the question, do we think they were connected to the relic before entering the control room? could they have called the relic ship to them at any time? perhaps they had full access to it, but just weren't aware of it.

since the description of the remover is that it clears host data, I don't think we can conclusively state that it would remove gigantic data. but is the data that is required to call the gigantic, host data? or is it guyver systems data?

This is pretty much one of the most important questions here. This is what we have been going over, trying to get at how the remover actually works. the handbook you mentioned, is that the one from the tv series? The VDF states pretty much the same thing, but does not mention a beam. though what we do know is that the remover must charge. so it is building up energy for some kind of discharge. maybe like an old camera flash unit perhaps. also, if the term beam is correct, then it would also correlate with what is shown in the manga panels. it would make sense that it is discharging some form of electromagnetic waves. we can't say for certain but it does seem likely. if it were true, could it be sending out a beam of low wavelengths, perhaps transmitting with high intensity short range radio waves alongside the light? or maybe using specific frequencies of light pulsing in various patterns? maybe by focusing towards the guyver, it is emitting a burst of intense waves on all frequencies in order to effectively scramble all data storage, sort of like the electromagnetic pulse that would come from a nuclear detonation.

odin, you do have bluray player don't you? a ps3? I have you on my friends list so you must have? do you have any pictures of gamera? something that looks cool.

I've considered doing it on many occasions, but it uses a lot of kanji that I am unfamiliar with and no furigana. it would take me ages just to find the kanji. I have no idea of anything that happened on 4chan so I couldn't say.

durendal! you took the words right out of my mouth ! yes, this is something I have also thought about. guyot is not a badass any more. he still has neat powers but he is nowhere near a match for shou or agito. he only has a dummy crystal so taking on either of them is suicide. especially since they have a gigantic each. he can't even get them off guard while the other is using the gigantic. also, it does take a while to charge the remover. so what he really needs to do is to get into an advantageous position. stealing the segawa siblings was no doubt part of his plan to gain an advantage. he figured he could get shou to submit and take his unit. maybe. alkenfel009, you make a fair point, but i am unsure if it is that simple. how does the remover work? does it use a specific frequency? what if cronos are using a different protocol or different frequencies? let's look at it this way. an iphone and a samsung note, both use phone networks, both connect to the internet, both transmit voice and data. but if you plug the samsung into itunes, it will not connect. on the other and, if you hit them both with a hammer, they will both smash. so it depends if the unit remover is using brute force, or if it is using a specific frequency. my opinion... the CM has to be pretty robust in order to be an effective and reliable system. the resistance to brute force must be pretty high so I think the remover uses a specific frequency and protocol. now the question is in my mind, if the fake CM is made to specification. this is actually ironic because the question i am asking is... is the artificial control metal 'kikakugaihin'? in the words of the creators, the artificial CM could be 'guyver' in and of itself. if it is to specification, then the protocols and information exchange mechanisms will be the same. if not, then it would be a sort of jerry-rig. if produces the same effect, but the inner workings are different.

no need to say sorry, just need to be a bit more clear on where you're coming from. mentioning the CM and sonic blast, immediately brings to mind the vikkar. nobody(?) would think you were talking about the sonic buster because i'm pretty sure the guyver would be toast if he got hit with that. I don't think the effect on the CM ever came into it when thinking about what that would do. I mean, you haven't specifically said it, but I'm going off what you said about the two guyvers fighting. I am right aren't I ? you were talking about the sonic buster possibly forcing the unit to deactivate? I don't think anyone's ever thought of it, or brought it up...

yeah, I am afraid that figuarts just looks like a childs toy to me. maybe because it is the type of thing I had when i was a child, the power rangers figures. the lack of embellishments makes it feel like it is made for an audience that lacks refinement. also the paintjob looks juvenile.

I usually have a pretty keen memory and is why I questioned it. to my recollection, shou never faced the vikkar while equipping the gigantic armour. the first time he saw them was when he was fighting chaos aptom and he made fast work of them after his feint. The unit remover was explained to work by forcing the control metal to delete user data. the method of communication is unclear. to delete data by brute force doesn't seem feasible or cronos would have created their own remover by now. the way it was explained and the fact the remover has it's own structure resembling the CM, the way it works seems to be through data communication. something I like to keep on top of and is very important to keep in mind, when you aren't sure of something or if you are assuming, make sure you phrase it that way.

what is it that you look for in your phone? personally, I look for reliability in terms of signal and pc connection etc. at least that is what I would look for. my iphone is so bad in this respect. it loses 3g connectivity on many occasions for no reason. it disconnects from my pc for no good reason. the power stops charging for no apparent reason. I want to see an OS that is stable and fully tested from the beginning, and not too much emphasis on updates with shiny features. I want the basic version to be 100% working first.

now that, I can appreciate! nicely done man

1. I don't recall this part, can you remind us where this happened? 2. how similar are you thinking? what evidence are you using? just need to clear these two things up

I get it. well I have some kamen rider faiz, with his wolf form, I also have ryuga and alternate zero, a gift from my bro. I don't display them because they fell over and alternate zero's sword broke. I glued it, but i don't want to risk it again so they stay in the box. I see how they could be re-imagined, but then I always assumed all toys/figures are taking liberties. the megazord toys are completely different from what we see on screen. but here is my issue... I wonder if a figure is made to be very close to the official character design, does it look plain and boring? you know, because it is tough to get the textures and lighting onto a figure.

there was a big fuss about it on jefusion before jin debuted. not sure if we talked about it here. but it is pretty awesome isn't it :)/> I love it when actors go into similar roles. but it's nice just to see them again! it's one of the reasons I love watching j-drama. I've seen the guy who plays sasword, in many different dramas. he is such a charming guy. I've also seen the guy who plays kamen rider kabuto, many different drama. it is so nice, because as we watch them on the screen, they almost become our friends. oh yeah, the guy who plays wataru in kamen rider kiva has been in a drama called atashinchi no danshi alongside the guy who plays sasword.

yeah that sounds about right. well I view it as something like a new version of 'ushio to tora', but with less blood and horror. -
yeah I can see the links in the story. isn't it sort of a judge dredd -> robocop relationship? heavily inspired by it, but has become its own creation? on the other hand, the story of the film could bear a very close resemblance, but we can't tell because we only have a trailer. that will be an interesting element to my first watch of it. seeing how close the story is.

no, it wouldn't. if I hyphenate, it should be clearer. "manufacturing 'equipment' - lifeforms" in other words lifeforms as manufacturing equipment. That is the implication I am getting from the grammar. particles in language btw, they are the small words that act as a function but don't have any inherent meaning in and of themselves. examples :- to, and, with, the, etc. yes, you are right, the 'next to' is throwing me. no I could have my particles mixed up again, but any way I was looking at it, it seems clear it is using the word for "next to" or "neighbouring". but how about this... I was reading it as tonatta. perhaps if i read it as to natta. let me see...... ok yes that works. tonatta means "neighbouring" but to natta means "and proves to be" . past tense, this results in "became", so the jist of it is that 'these spaceships themselves, BECAME the mothers body'. damn, I really need to study more...

hmm, I can't tell the difference between these and my s.i.c. figures. all i see is poseable figures. but then I guess that is because i am not really a figure fan!

that is fairly impressive. I wonder how a company such as capcom has grown to be what it currently is and yet still do this. I think this means there is still hope for them yet. they have not yet become the new EA or ubisoft. they could turn this around.

paraphrasing is fine, but only so long as the intentions are clear. let me add a lot of 'embellishing' to my translation. ãã‚‚ãã‚‚ãれらを生ã¿ã ã™æ¯ä½“ã¨ãªã£ãŸã“ã®â€å®‡å®™èˆ¹â€ãã®ã‚‚ã®ãŒ from the beginning/initially - they were producing/bringing into the world -/- the mothers body/parent body - next to - "spaceship" itself é™è‡¨è€…é”ã®å‰µã‚Šå‡ºã—ãŸã€Œé“å…·ã¨ã—ã¦ã®ã€ç”Ÿå‘½ä½“ã ã£ãŸã®ã The advents' - to manufacture/produce (tool/impliment used for) lifeform - for embracing to add more to that, the terms manufacture, tool and lifeform are not separated by particles so I read it as one term. "manufacturing 'equipment' lifeforms" The mothers body or parent body, is referring to the body, but not necessarily the womb or any specific part, and so that is why I felt 'bearing body', as a noun, was most suitable. but as you can see, the grammar structure is a little bit difficult. I'm still thinking about this and I wonder if this dialogue is merely suggesting that the labs were beside the ships. thought the drawings we have seen do not suggest that.

V guyver, excellent clip! I think that looks just like the pressure cannon! and Guyver0, nice one posting that. I never had access to that book so I had no idea. seems like we do have a definitive description of the pressure cannon.

natsume yuujinchou san is the third series of natsume yuujinchou if you keep your eye on any anime media, you might recognise nyanko sensei. cheers for the lowdown on Bleach. I figured it would be something like that. you and I have similar taste I think so I can be safe in the knowledge that I will probably not like it. -
I've heard of them vaguely. not sure what they are all about. what do they do mostly? is it kamen rider?
