  1. i did consider korean but i thought the writing on the images is not korean so that would not make sense.
  2. so cool!!!
  3. it seems you like hwang mi hee a lot! is she chinese? she looks chinese.
  4. how did you translate it? did you put it through google? am I colouring this for you then kenji?
  5. the thing about the chicken and the egg... many people take it so literally... if we want to take into account those kinds of people, we have to say, what came first, the chicken or the chicken egg. it seems that by trying to 'work it out' the peoples have lost the true meaning of the expression. it is like a koan, it is not meant to be worked out. it is meant to be understood as a quandary. the answer would not be either egg or chicken. the answer would be " hmmm, i see what you are saying". it is teh same as saying, if god created teh universe, what created god? or if the big bang created the universe, what created the big bang? that is the meaning, it is not meant to be answered in such a fashion. when you get to concepts such as infinity, or eternity, a man's mind is too puny to fully grasp such a thing. if you truly try to understand eternity, you would certainly go crazy.
  6. yeah, that makes sense. i tell you what i did like. the newspaper was called 'atashi' instead of 'ore' , that was a nice touch. also, i notices they called him shinji, but his surname was different. it began with the letter t but i can't remember, I just know it wasn't kido.
  7. it's not spoilers. was my post confusing? I thought... if somebody was avoiding this thread.... somebody might avoid this thread for a number of reasons. that person might not have seen recent eps of shinkenger so they won't want to read this thread. alternatively, a person might simply not be interested in shinkenger discussion. but they might really love the music. they might really appreciate teh opening and closing music. but since they don't visit this thread, they will miss it. so surely it would be better in a thread labelled " shinkenger OP and ED musics" ?
  8. i think these are better if you haven't seen the other series for a long while. I have been watching Ryuki recently and i feel like the world depicted in dcd is not as good as it could have been. it's good to pick up on hte references but i think it's best to experience through hte hazyness of distant memory.
  9. decade red, I think that would be much better as a standalone thread? incase somebody was avoiding this thread for spoilers etc.
  10. bobby, people can call it what they like and wikipedia is not proof of anything. why do you want to argue about something so pointless? surely you have better things to do?
  11. heh heh that telemarketing was good, and the hyrule thing give me a good laugh!
  12. yes, it's certainly the sort of thing that can make brains start to smoke and fizzle... i'll post the video into a new thread now.
  13. >Mei-chan no Shitsuji 05 is available subbed by TimeLesSub
  14. I was watching an incredibly interesting metaphysics video, I'll summarise my thoughts.. if you are interested in it, I can make a new topic for it. in summary - the universe is expanding. if the universe is expanding and the universe is time and space, then do we think time is expanding also? if time is expanding, then maybe the past wasn't such a long period of time back then? maybe billions of years was actually 7 days? or something relative. perhaps our measuring of time, 'binds' us to it somehow. perhaps if they discover the god particle, the higgs boson with hte LHC, we might fid some way to synchronise with time... or something.
  15. but i think i made it quite clear that nobody knows what will happen. I will argue til i'm blue in the face that the earth is not going to 'end'. if you want to depress yourself and make your life a living hell, then by all means you can go along with the crowd that are harking destruction... but that is a completely fatalistic point of view. it is holding onto hte idea that things are pre-determined instead of looking at how there are patterns in the universe. we're not talking about chance events here. we're talking about natural rhythms. like has been suggested, enormous magnetic fields in space. for example. the idea that the earth is going to be destroyed is a product of fear. fear is the lowest form of energy you can be subjected to. i.e. it brings you down instead of lifting you up. this is kind of the basis for ideas such as 'ascension'. if you look at beings that you might consider 'enlightened' such as a dalai lama, you will notice they pay no heed to fear. let me answer directly though... I don't know why people would give credibility to such a thought, it could be that they are caught in a vortex of fear. fear feeds itself. it is a low energy vibration. it drags you down. if you refuse to believe such thoughts then that is a good thing. it means you see the danger of thinking in that way and are keeping clear from it. very healthy. but don't ignore the possibility of a positive outcome. if you can acknowledge the possibility of a good event happening, maybe you might give it some thought and the ideas may inspire you somehow. don't close your heart completely to it because you might discover something amazing.
  16. i'm not too keen on the idol 'pretty' girls. I prefer cute girls. eikura nana -
  17. i have updated the signature guidelines in the top post. hopefully everything should be clear as day

I've given this page a complete overhaul, gotten rid of the many individual pages for kamen rider and sentai etc and placed them o the main page until there is a substantial amount of information to warrant an individual page for them.
  20. we all make our choices from moment to moment, no matter what is pre-determined. like you are destined to die one day, your hair is destined to grow, your heart beats without you even asking it to. the tides rise and fall, politicians lie. there are many many things that are predetermined and we all still make our choice on how we react to each day that is given to us. nobody knows what will happen in 2012. whatever it is, many people will not bend to it, many will try to cling to the earth and the current ways. just like the dinosaurs. just like the ones who didn't go onto noahs ark. everyone has a choice how to live. (or perhaps die ) but like we've said, nobody knows what will actually happen. it could be impercievable to many. it could be a change that only affects those who accept it. i.e. the others won't even be aware. yeah, My feelings exactly. it's great when this type of thing happens. It's like a friend come by to say hi.
  21. awesome news kenji chan!! do you have a link to this persons work?
  22. a pole shift is barely noticable. it's pretty much like a 2.0 earthquake. there is a pole shift either just happened or due very very soon. ( as in a space of months) but as far as i am aware this is not detected by science, so it's up to you wether you want to believe that or not.

    nice capture
  24. i have been feeling that it's kinda cheap but nothing substantial. not until I watched an episode of hurricanger again. there's a hell of a difference. the detail on their suits for a start. there is a phenomenal difference there. then there was the special effects of teh mecha... even considering how long ago it was, the CGI was actually far superior to shinkenger. most notable was teh detail there as well. I look at shinkenoh and i feel like the suit is cheaply made. I wonder how the overall story will turn out... but i am unsure. see, the same thing happened in this latest episode. something happened and it went WAY overdramatic. all of a sudden, shinken red decides to have some major problem and it seems really bad, but .. oh it's okay, they just do some training and problem solved. I feel like if they are making such a big deal about such a smal thing, then how can they make anything dramatic later on? I think i'll give it maybe one or two more eipsodes.
  25. i don't know why you heard dekaranger was good. I think it was very poor myself. i think others share that opinion. hurricanger has the quality that i feel recent kamen rider has. decent story telling that is subtle, rich and well written.
