The January 2013 issue of Shonen Ace magazine has released its latest chapter to the Guyver manga series.

This is a message to the members of the Guyver Advocacy group that the pages to the latest chapter at the above link will be replaced when higher quality images are obtained.

I have to say, that is the BEST chapter of guyver in a LONG TIME.

I think the last time I have been that excited was when Guyver II F first appeared.

what a heck of a ride.

we're starting off thinking who the hell is this? then what we are greeted with is the coolest bit of strategy! so creative to do such a thing! my first thought was that it was aptom, but then we are greeted with something that looks like guyver, but has crystals all over it, almost like a zoalord... so unusual!!

but on top of that, what a course of events! they are actually hoping to team up with Shin against Apollon?

or.. well actually from what i managed to read quickly, it seems Shou is asking information about him.

I actually thought the thing was perhaps a Guyver Mark II that Apollyon brought with him or maybe Apollyon had evolved and powered himself up with the Zoacrystals. I want a figure of Guyver-Aptom.

Ryuki, yes, this month's latest chapter was definitely an earlier discovery than it normally has been, as I have recently found a new source for obtaining new Guyver manga material from over a month ago. Judging by its results, so far, it looks to be quite like a reliable source.

A modification to the original message of this thread will be made as soon as better images of this chapter are posted on the Guyver Solution Web site. However, should other Guyver fans here may find them sooner than me, please feel free to share them with us in this thread. Thank you.

I wonder about that shield Guyver-Aptom made, maybe Aptom doing that semi-barrier again like he did in book 12?

Well, they just wanted to know everything Shin knows about Apollon. That's pretty much it. You can probably guess why.

can we imagine that the powers were somehow combined or should we assume that this is merely a 'cloak' ?

I don't think Aptom was advancing the Guyver in anyway, he seemed to use his own sonic blades to get in and covered Guyver one so that he could cloak him, I really doubt that Aptom could increase the Guyver as it stands.

Except for the barrier he created for protection against the energy blast.

to me, it seems more likely that it is aptoms ability.

probably something to do with that zoanoid that kept valkyria confined with a massive barrier.

we didn't see him actually absorb that guy, but shin does make reference to it in this chapter.

Well, at one time Aptom did say that he didn't know what all he gained during the Draglord incident (where he absorbed a butt load of Zoanoids of every type including Hypers). Maybe he absorbed that kind of Hyper Zoanoid then and didn't know about that ability recently?

Well let's think a moment what advantages and disadvantages Guyver-Aptom could have.

+: Cloaking and a shield. Weapons that can still be used: vibration blade since Aptom has it and Aptom's particle cannon can make up for the Mega smasher.

-: Pressure cannon and head beam and probably sonics too can't be used and no mega smasher.

I dunno might be a nifty quicker trick but I suspect this was a one timer.

He could have absorbed the corpse of the barrier zoanoid that FGII split in half without her knowledge

I spent 5 minutes staring at the second panel with this new creature, guessing who he is.

Also great whe Sho goes on the offensive.

OMG OMG OMG! BEST. CHAPTER. EVAR. I always KNEW other people could wear me as a suit! Next stop: Keep Valkyria "warm" when her Unit times out.

Finally a great chapter.

At the first i thought it was a guyver-zoalord, the supreme being... , then the true uranus aspect, instead it was...

That was awesome!!! I also thought it was a Guyver Zoalord! That was clever stuff, I would've been crapping my pants if I was Shin.

I doubt that Aptom can enhance the Guyver with that "cloak". It probably is purely for disguise. Though it does look like it could be an awesome battle form. All those crystals sure make it scary looking.
