The porpous of the avengers is to do things that one of them can't do, meaning that each member skill compliments the others into completing a mission, in hawkeye's and Black Widow's case, they are highly trained shield agents that focus on espionage, and stealth black widow in particular who has a habit of being a double or triple agent from time to time, they have been working together for a while before being avengers so they are a good team, even tho they don't have super powers their skills and abilities more than make for it, hope that helps Ryuki. actually right now the avengers are divided into 3 factions right now in the comics to handle different tasks, there is the regular Avengers who deal with worldwide threats lead currently by Captain america, the New avengers who from what i can gather focus on just one area at a time, they are lead by Luke Cage and then there is the Secret Avengers who focus on the top secret stuff of the goverment not surfacing again lead by captain america, then there are members of each team that switch from time to time if they are needed the 2 most common ones are Spider-man and Wolverine. I find it so sad that certain places of the world are getting it so early... But the places where the movie is based, and where the characters were created.... Gets it 9 days after. (May 4th ) I mean, Over a bloody week difference... Not just a few days. I mean, ok, yeah I know with other movies they tend to get them a bit later at times... But geez, this isn't a foreign film...
