Hesei: Ghidora the Three Headed Monster. I just really liked how Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra worked together to defeat Ghidora. Plus I like the original idea for Ghidora being a space monster that destroys planets than any of his other iterations.

Showa: Godzilla vs Biollante. Come on the puppetry and look of Biollante's final form was just awesome.

You got your eras mixed up. Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster is in the Showa series of Godzilla films while Godzilla vs Biollante is in the Heisei series.

Millenium: Godzilla, Ghidora, and Mothra Attack of the Three Gaurdian Beasts. I liked how they returned Godzilla to his roots as being a really pissed off motherf***er that wants to destroy Tokyo (world). However I was shocked to see King Ghidorah as a good guy, thats the one thing I really didn't agree with.

GMK is the only movie where he actually wants attacks Japan though. All of the other movies either have him under alien control (DAM, Godzilla vs Monster Zero), attracted to an energy source (Return of Godzilla and Godzilla X Megaguirus), or just wondering around Japan like a wild animal and destroys stuff by accident/in his way (There's way too many examples).

As for Ghidorah being a good guy in GMK, it does bug me but at least he is still Godzilla's nemesis.

Yeah you're right I got the eras mixed, my apologies. Just got into typing it up didn't really think about it. As for the roots thing I was referencing as to why I liked that movie not the whole Millenium series.

I love my local stores, I just found on my Kmart a Godzilla vs Biollante Miramax DVD for 5 dollars, I did not even think twice on buying it, it also has a making of video so that is always a plus since I love making of videos.

The blu ray for it is pretty cheap as well. It's only like 3 or 5 bucks more. Depending on how lucky you are, there are certain copies of it that have special features that weren't suppose to be put on there due to legal issues, I think. Either way, it's a good buy. Godzilla vs Biollante is probably the best of the Heisei Godzilla films and certainly one of the better ones we've had in recent years.

Oh and filming for Legendary Picture's Godzilla reboot started recently up in Canada. The fact that Bryan Cranston is in the movie gives me hope for this. There's been quite a few set pics, mostly stuff like guys in military outfits, destroyed vehicles, army vehicles, etc. I'm interested in seeing Godzilla's design in the movie as well as the designs of the other monsters in the movie.

well, there is a recent news saying that they are going to use a suit as well as cg to improve the visuals, the news article provided an image of an unused suit concept for the movie which looks pretty cool and makes me wonder what is the final design.

That rumor was proven false. Several staff members including one of the producers and the director have said that Godzilla is going to be all CGI.  Plus, that concept art image has been floating around for a while now, it is actually concept art of Godzilla for Godzilla 2000.

If you're wanting reliable info about LPG, go to the Tohokingdom forums. We usually debunk a lot of these rumors.

weeeeeell I think it is about time to see some more images regarding the Legendary Studios film and here are some set photos and posters I managed to find.

also it is confirmed from Comic-Con's Schedule for july 20th  that Godzilla will be facing multiple monsters

An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

^There's also a phone app. There's also statues of Godzilla shown at the Comic Con area for LPG. Nobody knows for sure if they are the final design or not. Oh and they finished filming in Hawaii recently. So they're pretty much done filming the movie entirely, now they just have to do stuff like finishing up the CGI models, other special effects stuff, soundtrack, reshoots, ADR, etc.

The multiple monsters thing has been known for quite a long time. Nobody knows what monsters he's facing though. I doubt they're gonna use any familiar faces, especially since they'd have to pay Toho for the rights of those monsters as well.

Yeah but I wish they would at least get the rights for King Ghidorah,or at least their own version of mecha godzilla.

Here's a description of the new teaser for Godzilla shown at comic con:

We’re introduced to characters first off: Cranston seems to be an engineer/investigator of some sort — we see him in hazmat gear, and later running towards a crisis event in a government installation as the rest of the staff frantically runs away. Aaron Taylor Johnson is a soldier; Ken Watanabe is seen in a control room of some kind, and Olsen is shown in moments that suggest she’s been a victim of some disaster, she is a Nurse and a mother in the film while being a refugee of sorts, as we see her as she reunites with a young girl in a sports stadium that has been converted into a shelter.. A montage of various images shows a world in crisis and deploying military forces to fight some crisis moment.

And then there’s the kaiju attack. The first monster we see is a spindly-legged insectoid thing — is this Mothra? Didn’t quite look like it, but that’s possible. The monster is attacking an airport, and there’s a great wide shot that sees the kaiju destroying a plane, which leads to an explosion the camera follows by panning across a huge set of windows, looking out from inside the airport terminal. Part of the plane’s destroyed fuselage flies right to left across the screen, and is eventually stopped as it crashes into a giant foot.

That’s the intro for Godzilla, and the creature dwarfs the other kaiju. Few shots really show Godzilla, but the scale is very effectively communicated by the relationship between the insectoid monster and our favorite lizard. The overall effect could be described — and this isn’t a literal account of the footage, but an impression of its effect — like a slow pan up from the faces of the various human characters stuck in the middle of a monster-created mess, passing a smaller beast and finally trying to focus on the father of it all, Godzilla, hidden in fire and smoke.

Now, I have heard other descriptions of this bug monster. One mentioned it being a hybrid of the Cloverfield monster and a spider, another being a giant mantis-like kaiju, etc.

So from that description I take it that Kumonga and Kamacura will appear in the movie and possibly mothra although I doubt it. here is a video showing footage of the godzilla encounter event with a better look at the big G himself.

when i get a better HQ video of this I will post it, enjoy.

Legendary has already said that Godzilla is fighting original monsters in this movie. So yeah, we're not gonna see Mothra, Kamacuras, etc.

From what I hear, the design of Godzilla shown in the Godzilla Encounter wasn't the final design. So in other words, Godzilla is look different in the movie than he did in the Godzilla Encounter thing.

Not bad, although something seems weird with his eyes, not menacing enough but oh well it looks like godzilla which is what really matters. Lets just hope his powers and abilities stay intact and it does not give a focus on the military, one of the most important rules in Godzilla is that the military can't win, they can either slow him down or seal him but never kill him.

...I don't really care for the eyes ehhh I've seen better designs was hoping for more of an menacing look. Oh well all that really matters is that we're getting a new Godzilla movie! =)

Hmmm I'm not sure how I feel about his face. Weird. He definitely has his own unique features compared to previous designs. Some of his teeth look very dull as well. But I'll hold my judgment until I see more.

THE TRAILER IS HERE:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151917162869490

I will get a youtube version once it is up.

It's just the Comic Con 2012 teaser trailer, which was made before they even started filming the actual movie. Godzilla's design has been changed since then and that multi-armed monster isn't even going to be in the final movie.

yea but this trailer has never been released before to the public, it is a nice trailer tho, I'm very anxious to see the finished product, also if I had to complain I would say that my only minor nitpick is his roar, it just seems weird.
