So why am I starting a topic about a Hollywood film in a subforum that is supposed to be for topics related to Japanese Drama/anime/games/etc.? Quite simply, because the movie was inspired from the Japanese light novel, All you need is kill. It also has a manga to it. Despite my abhorrence to Hollywood takes on Japanese franchise, recently I've learned to be a little forgiving of them. Has anyone ever watched Elfen Lied? Red hair girl named Lucy who is psychic and has horns on her head? Kills people for fun? This is probably one of the most violent anime shows I've ever seen with tons of nudity. Its a fun watch. Just wondering if anyone else has watched it.

I seems like whenever I so much a glance at main stream western comics their seems to be another event comic starting up. While I dont hate Events it seems that some of them are done just because.....because. The ones I'm thinking of are poorly written, ignore cannon and are pointless in the end. On that note I'm curieuse as to what some of you think and what Events stood out to you as very good or bad. For a recent Event that pissed me right off DC's Trinity War. WHAT THE F##K! Just thought I would share this cool show with you guys called Famikamen Rider it is a spin-off series of Jewario's you can play this show where he discusses imported games that are good and don't need to learn japanese in order to play them, Famikamen Rider is similar only it discusses everything Tokusatsu related from movies to manga to games. I'll just post a few videos and wait to see if you guys like it. This particular episode discusses what the guy who played Kamen Rider Ichigo did when he was not doing rider stuff as well as some very cool trivia about him, this is the main reason why I decided to post this thread.

Who is your favorite anime couple? Mine would have to be Ayato Kamina and Haruka Sato.

Who is your favorite girl(s) hero in anime? My favorite anime girl hero is Reika Mishima. Reason being, she is a goddess that represents the god Ixtley in Rahxephon. She's very beautiful and is a guide and mentor to Ayato. At times she appears when Ayato is in desperate need for help. The show always seems to get very interesting and intense when we see her. Really loved her character and in my opinion, she is one of the most beautiful anime girls I've seen.

I haven't watch much of the different series as Gundam Wing and G Gundam are the only two series I've completed. But I would have to say that my favorite Hero Gundam is between Heavy Arms, and Deathscythe Hell from Gundam Wing. Though, my favorite Villian Gundam is definately the Devil(Dark) Gundam. From what I've watched the Devil Gundam is the most powerful Gundam second only to God(Burning) Gundam.

What is your all time favorite power ranger? Mine would be the White Ranger, Tommy, the former Dragon Ranger.

Here we can discuss Final Fantasy topics. Fan art. The games, and have discussions, and also talk about our favorite Final Fantasy games and what we loved about them. I really loved Final Fantasy X, and I enjoyed Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XIII. What I loved about Final Fantasy X was the sphere grid system. It was easy and simple. You could go anywhere and not all characters were limited to one class. Both could all do magic and melee. The crystarium grid from FFXIII reminds me a lot of X's sphere grid. I'm not kidding you. I'm really not. I was surprised as well. This is something for me to really look forward to. Its finally going to happen. When I first saw this I was skeptical and was thinking "is this for real?" because there was so many hoaxes. I think we're getting our wish and Square really does listen to their fans after all.

I don't know about any of you but I'm really ready for Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD remake/ Re-Release. Its going to be run off of the Final Fantasy XIII Engine. Meaning the same Graphics from what I've studied. I've Pre-Ordered the Collectors Edition and am really excited. I should see it 10 days after March 19th. It comes with an art book, strategy Guide,extra content and trophies. I wonder if Ryuki is as excited as I am to return to Spira and kill Jecht and Yu Yevon all over again. It was released back in 2002 and you will see improvements.

I was just doing my routine research today and i suddenly found this interesting video that there is a french studio that decided to make their own series of super sentai called France Five to pay tribute to the Japan Super Sentai, heck it even had Akira Kushida do the intro theme in one of their episodes. I just discovered this American Tokusatsu series from the Monstrosities YouTube channel. I don't know if it will any good yet, since it only has two short episodes. The designs look good and the acting is cheesy, but it seems to have some actual soul unlike the recent Power Rangers. Well, it's too early to be an april fools joke. But it was announced on the official site at haragen.jp. With the way the first season ended up, I'm wondering how they would continue with the second season. Seeing some of the key players dying on the first season which kinda split way off from the book, I thinking either they create some new material in the first few episodes to cover the plot holes or they make the story entirely new and independent from the manga. Either way, this would be interesting.

Someone recently ask me this question over at Game Stop. They asked me if I've ever broken a game out of anger and frustration. Of course I replied " No" So the story goes that I got into this conversation with this guy over certain games like Prototype or Modern Warfare. He said that he was so irritated while playing Halo that he swiftly grabbed the game out of his X-Box and busted it in two. He went into a lot of detail, that and he described how smashed his X-Box 360 on the floor. This guy was in his mid 20's. I felt this person had anger issues or was just careless with their things.
