I'll be honest, after a 3 month hiatus this is how far the story progresses... Guyot jumps down a manhole? Seriously losing interest in Guyver these days due to sporadic nothing chapters like this

Couldnt have been defense mode or the Uranus would have known it and not abandoned the experiment as the unit G would have been at fault and not the human. As humans were all under control it could be once freed from that control the primitive man didn't like the idea of going back to it.

I feel lately the chapters are getting smaller and very little happening in each one, I feel this has been the case since Valkyria came into it. It's like 3 chapters makes up a good full fat read.

He does have a barrier he used it to stop Shins attack when they met with him at Cloud Gate. That's something that annoyed me there was no foreshadowing of him absorbing that shield zoanoid at the airport. I agree with Yuki it's bad story telling, we've already seen this happen a couple of times in Guyver; Aptom figured out that the zoacrystal stops him absorbing zoalords like the control medal does with Guyver even though there was no scene to establish this. This I hope won't happen again like Aptom does have the ability to exceed by having stolen Karlbarls ability in the fight with him even though he never mentioned he could do that. Anymore spontaneous developement of new abilities Aptom may exhibit without a good setup is going to affect my enjoyment of Guyver.

The abilities of a zoalord aren't given by the crystal, just powered and amplified by it as Yuki said.

Gigantic has two, their power doubled up or more. Why would it need double the power for a function which just locates and transports the unit to them.

Gigantic teleports through the cocoon and still has these red orbs, Gigantic also uses the shield from the energy amps and still has these orbs so chances are they serve neither of those functions. I agree they function more or a purpose than just collectors of somekind. I've also always thought it's interesting they are on that weird antenna that so far doesn't seem to serve a purpose...
