That's the problem with Japanese. You can't really translate things to english that well, so multiple spellings are highly common. Which is while, you'll never see anyone correct you on the names here, because we know what you mean, and with so many ways to spell it, they practically are almost rigth anyway.

They originally had another ring around them ( but didn't look crystal at all.) Guyver 3's small change, was his wrist. Originally the guantlet armor was slightly a bit different that it was longer, and covered the back of his hands, instead of the little circle of armor, and regular wrists of Guyver 3 that we know.

And only 12 days late! This is my half of our Gift Art / Art exchange idea we had since our birthdays were so close together.

Is that the 1/6, or 1/12 figure? I can't really tell from the box... Either way, I figure, it is a fair price to be asking for the 1/12. I mean other Guyver kits it's size are about 25-30 US from HLJ... however, most of the main characters are not available at all anymore. And since it's official Max Factory, it does make it a bit more rare, thus jumping the price. So while the Guyver 3 Figure is $44 US, I think this qualifies for the price. If you want quality originals of the Guyver kits, you have to expect to pay prices like this. It's not uncommon with any merchandise.

They MIGHT be talking about an actual Max Factory model kit. ( although this IS the THIRD topic about it) Chrisguyver, how about a link to you auction? or more details on what EXACTLY it is?

No Bane, that's the new Guyver 3 figure, that is NOT even out yet. It doesn't come out until the 23rd of April. ( ie later this week) He's talking about the older ( albeit still awesome looking) Guyver model kits Max Factory made long ago.

Yeah, while in FF8 he replaced Odin, and had 4 sword attacks to choose from. ( that was cool when he came and claimed Odins sword.)

Not a model, but a super posable figure. And considering it's size, quality, and "rarity", I would say $80 isn't bad... however since Max factory's site lists it at $44 US, I'd say it's a bit of a rip off.

As I posted in the general figure sticky post, Guyver 3 now has an offcial release date of April 29th. I was hoping for the middle of the month, but this give me plenty of time to save up after I became broke due to buying my laptop.

I think Brian just chose it because 1. Sounds pretty durn cool 2. Gilgamesh is a warrior that I have seen appear a few times in video games ( Final Fantasy 8 is my favorite version). I have no idea if he's based of previous lore or mythology, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Just as a note... The Visual Data Files is a MUST HAVE book for a manga Guyver fan. I have never regretted getting mine all those years ago. Anyone that doesn;t have it should conisder tryign to get it... it's worth it...
