I have to say this Super Saiyan Rose looks much more interesting than I thought. Sounded kind of lame at first but that preview really gets me pumped for the next episode.

I agree. I used to love watching Yugioh (my favorite anime if you can't tell) on Saturday mornings. I grew up watching the dubbed version on Kids WB, since that was all I knew. Until a few years later (after the original series had ended), I found a site where I could download all of the original series, as well as the others that follow (GX, 5D's, ZEXAL, and Arc-V). Once I had collected every episode of every series Yugioh I began re-watching them all chronologically. I began to realize that the dubbed version was literally crap. It drenn all over the Yugioh I was now watching. I noticed every single detail I had not done before. Every aspect of the series which was supposed to be perfect in my eyes was now flawed. I found that so many of its original content had been removed from the dubbed version, and it pissed me off to no end. I thought why try and make this anime a kids anime. It was clearly made for adults there. How can you cover up a character's death, or cut out any blood loss from someone who is clearly fighting for his life. Aside from the dub verses sub differences, I also worried about canon/non canon differences. Being that the Yugioh series is an adaptation of the Yugioh manga. While it may be a little more complicated with the Dragon Ball Z anime, I don't feel so much threated by it. I loved Dragon ball Z back in the day when I was growing up. I rushed how after school and eagerly waited for the next episode to air on Cartoon Network (Toonami), just to find out what was going to happen again. I remember how awesome it felt to watch growing up. The anticipation during the Android and Cell saga had me all too excited. And after the Buu saga ended the series ended, or so I thought... When GT started I thought it was kind of strange. Suddenly all of the characters in Z had grown up, or rather grown up again! It was the Shippuden version of DBZ (IMO). It wasn't terrible but it didn't have the same feeling as Dragon Ball Z. And with the appearance of SSJ4 it truly through everyone for a loop. Just how and why could he achieve this new form and how come Vegeta could too, without going into an SSJ3 first. Suddenly the return of Great Apes! Anyway, as off-beat as it was compared to 'Z' I never completely hated it. With that came the newest DBZ movie Battle of the Gods. I kept hearing so much about it and decided to finally watch it. Super Saiyan God, Gods of Destruction, and 12 Universes! Now the stage was set for a new series (Dragon Ball Super). Not sure which came first though (Super or Resurrection F), but once I heard a second new Dragon Ball Z movie had come out I instantly found and watched it. Let me be honest when I say this but the movies far exceed Super in special effects, quality animation, and overall character development. I had heard the first two seasons of Super were just a remake of the latest movies (BOG and RF), but I still decided to watch it. A new Dragon ball anime had me a tad bit interested. After all of the events of the Battle of the Gods and Resurrection F I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Although Super did things a little differently during some of these events it still ended up being a knock off of those two movies, regardless. What has kept me interested in Super (thus far) is the ever changing transformations (Saiyan to be to be specific). We have a Super Saiyan God and now a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, otherwise known as Super Saiyan Blue (SSJ Blue). With all of the upcoming news we have on Black, he will also be exhibiting a new transformation, which is called Super Saiyan Rose for those who are not already aware. I can't say I don't agree with you, Howard but I definitely gave it more of a chance than other anime in the past. One aspect I dislike immensely is the poor quality in Super. Some episodes are decent and remain consistent but others are absolutely terrible. Anyway, that's just my two cents.

Holy crap! That's a nice collection you have there. I still need to watch those two Guyver movies. By any chance are they available anywhere on YouTube? Approximately how long did it take you to gather all of these items? I decided to just start a collection. Once I save up enough money I'll start buying the Guyver series collector's edition figures.

Shin Gojira / New Godzilla July 2016
ROUGE replied to Shin Mefilas's topic in Japanese Entertainment
They're still making Godzilla movies?!! What the hell have I been doing, living under a rock! -
I just have to ask. Is this something you like doing in your spare time? How long have you been working on this comic. I didn't even realize it was published until now. Must have missed that part, should probably start wearing my reading glasses more often lol. That's great, good for you man. I used to have adequate drawing skills but sadly they seemed to have diminished over time.

Hello, many of you may not be familiar with me but I've been here for a few months already. So I figured I would finally make a 'no nonsense' topic where I can get plenty of feedback from you all. I don't necessarily believe this topic counts as spam, otherwise I would have placed it there. For the record this isn't a blog. I have no idea what a blog is, nor do I know how to create one. This is simply a discussion concerning something I have taken an interest in. As the title suggests I am referring to Privacy, or more specifically internet privacy. This may get a tad bit heated with everyone's opinions but please keep it within reason. It all started one day when I was using Avira on my desktop. If you're not familiar with this, it is simply an anti-virus program. One of the features includes VPN protection. At that time I had no idea what it meant. So I started searching online to find out and read more about it. Immediately I took action and set up VPN protection on my computer. I am not too sure myself how to explain what it is (as I am still learning), but basically it protects your IP address and location, so no one can hack into your computer, or find out what sites you're frequently on. Now I am not some major hacker or anything but I certainly don't want an unsuspecting party spying on me. That kind of intrusion is simply not welcome, no matter who they are! Do any of you guys feel the need to hide your activity online? If so, what program do you use and how trustworthy are you on this type of software. Does it really work or not. I do have my doubts but I'd like to hear your thought on the matter first before sharing any more. @Moderators/Admins: Please feel free to move my topic elsewhere if this place isn't the right section for it. I only wanted a friendly and insightful discussion about shared interests. No harm done I hope.

Didn't even notice that. It was just the closest comparison picture I could find of Guyver 0. At least one that was roughly the same size as the Guyver 2 image next to it.
-
I'm not so sure about Guyver 3, but Guyver 1 maybe. Though hard to tell in the picture, personally he looks just as tall as Guyver 2. Unless the host of Guyver 0's unit was smaller ICR. Alright. Now I see what you mean. That head cord or whatever it's called on the helmet is a lot longer. And his HF blades look a little different on the arms. His mid section also seems a little more refined, like he has a six pack sort of going on. Where as Guyver 2's design doesn't look nearly as 'clean' around his ab section. I just had to look around and try and find a close comparison since it intrigued me so much. Although he seems to be just as tall as Guyver 2. Unless it was just drawn that way. I doubt that caveman looking yahoo was anywhere near as tall as Lisker lol.
-
If I had to guess I would assume that was Guyot's plan all along. Recruiting her just so he can stay close to a Guyver Unit. Albeit, a prototype technically, with its artificial control medal, but still functions properly. So Guyot wouldn't miss an opportunity like that. And we know how far ahead Guyot plans, so I know he'll be up to his old tricks in not time. Even if it's not evident right now.

So I've been comparing Guyver bio suit designs (between 1-3) and though many people think Guyver III is actually the original Guyver 0, I disagree. I am not saying you're wrong, there's always a possibility that in some way it has changed in appearance over the few hundred years it lie dormant. However, if that is certainly the case then Guyver's I and II would also have a slight change in appearance. Guyver 0 had disappeared the moment it was extracted from its host, hundreds (maybe thousands ICR) of years ago. If Arkanfel knew the creators feared the Guyver's power, he would most likely have kept the Guyver 0 armor hidden sometime after the creators left. I don't believe he had the power to activate it or somehow the armor itself isn't fully applicable, otherwise he would surely use this to his advantage in the fight against the creators. I also have noticed that Guyver 0's design looks far more like Guyver 2 than anything else. He has what looks to be the same exact design, along with its size. And though this doesn't make it an absolute truth as to where the Guyver 0 unit has went, it does raise the question. As well as why Guyver III's design looks the way it does, while all of the other one's are the exact same. Aside from all of the analysis on the unit. Does anyone else want to see a return of the Guyver 0 unit? It's basically the Guyver 2 suit, only green lol. For the record I actually liked Guyver 2 (Lisker). So I wouldn't mind seeing the return of another Guyver, besides Guyver 2 F. Then there would be three again!

That part was super rapey to me lol. I know he was supposed to be menacing and all, but a naked guy is just kind of weird. I would be totally thrown off in a fight with a naked man. All he does is bait Sho into fighting him. And poor Sho learns he killed his dad from Aptom, probably not how he wanted to hear that, especially from Aptom of all people. I actually loved the 2005 series. I really wish they had decided to extend it a lot further past what happened at Relic's point. It makes that comment about the series being underrated almost true. Though only 26 episodes, it should have been longer, for sure!

Oh my god that looks so good! If I had the money I would buy it right now. Nope, I actually just made an account on Amazon pretty recently, since they have certain items that eBay doesn't. I haven't hooked up my PayPal to Amazon yet though, since I found what I wanted on eBay. I buy everything on eBay. I've bought video games, manga, and some accessories through eBay.
-
Oh, I guess they can extend pretty far out. That might have be the most appropriate picture to use as well, I had forgot just how far they can reach. I had forgotten that in the anime when they swing the HF blade, it happens so fast that you can't even see just how long they really are.
-
Those HF blades are incredibly long. Do they actually extend that far, I can't remember. I've never once seen them become that long.
-
Lol that meme is hilarious. It's kind of screwed up though. Color scheme-wise, only Guyver II Gigantic should be yellow, rather than Guyver 1. Yet Guyver III is still black when he becomes Gigantic. Did they mean to do it that way, or just didn't think the regular color looked as good for Guyver 1 Gigantic.
-
Now it's supposedly Black's mission to annihilate all humans for the God's. Or something... This guy is somethin' else I tell ya. He comes off as a little bit crazy to me. And what's interesting even Beerus and Whis seem to know him from somewhere, or at least his Ki.
-
I have a dream. That one day we'll get a Guyver the Bioboosted Armor video game!
-
Guyot is bigger than a Gigantic?! And why is Imakarum so big? I guess he was fought on even ground against the Guyver Dark, but I swear I don't remember him being that big.
-
Is this the soundtrack from the original version, or the 2005 series?
-
So which one does she actually use. The pink one or purple one. I am sort of new to the female Guyver user, Valkyria. There are movies? I only knew of the anime and manga.
-
Honestly I've wondered about that myself. How on earth did the Guyver 0 unit suddenly disappear? Archanfel was right there when the unit was extracted from its host. So right after killing that guy he could have kept the unit for safekeeping. It wouldn't be so farfetched as to think of him holding onto it, knowing the creators fear that very same power. Not to mention that its power would be virtually invincible when equip with a Zoalord, as Guyot once mentioned. The only thing that sticks out for me about Guyver 3's unit is how different it looks when compared to the rest of them. I don't assume that it's more powerful though. It that had been the case then it wouldn't have been with the other two units, it would have surely been placed somewhere else, perhaps in a far more remote location.

It's definitely getting interesting, that's for sure. And next week we'll get to see Goku fight Black. I take it Black Goku isn't a saiyan based on his mannerisms. He keeps calling Trunks one but it doesn't have any merit to him. He even knows about the saiyan race but says they were all a foolish bunch of people and whatnot. Although I am interested in the time ring on his finger, so he must have come from another dimension or timeline for it to be useful here. Also, I read the anime previews and around episode 53-54 his true identity is revealed. So we'll get a little more of an explanation about his character.
-
Or Archanfel regains his full-power and wipes everyone out. Either way, a lot of people will die in this final battle. Sho and the others have no idea why Archanfel wants to get the Ark up and running. Perhaps if they knew then they could assist him in his fight against the creators. Maybe they could come to some sort of agreement, after all, at the moment his friends are helping to take care of him in his weakened state. It sounds a bit odd but not something I can't see happening either, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Once Guyot and the other rouges are out of the way then there's really no one else left to fight other than Apollon and/or Archanfel. It does appear as Imakarum is Apollon though seeing as how he is serving or helping Archanfel. So if it isn't him then it would be some other advent of the creator, helping to overthrow them. As to why Imakarum decided to masquerade himself in the first place is the only mystery here. Unless Archanfel told him to, so that it didn't seem like he was betraying the other Zoalords. At least this way they won't even know who is behind it. Not to mention Archanfel wants to start the ark but there's so much chaos between the remaining lords, he might've had no other choice other than to forcefully take back the crystals. I wouldn't imagine that any of the other Zoalords would stop Archanfel from reaching his goals, since he is the leader and founder of Chronos, they would obediently follow him wherever. Also now that I think about it Sho and Aptom could have gotten a ton of new information on what's going on from Shin. Even though all they asked about was Apollon I imagine they learned some new information about him and his goals.

Damn, I should have said that. Actually doing it that way, I would then proceed to say 'I am God!' while it happens.
-
I would probably just say Adapt, like Lisker. And if I could use my own chant I might just say something like, "Engage!"
