  1. Pardon me, but I seem to be a little behind. When was it revealed what Apollyon's agenda was? I know he was in a hurry to snag all the Zoalord crystals, but for what I'm not exactly sure. I have not had access to any new translations for some time, so I can only guess as to what he's been up to. Would you mind bringing me a bit up to speed please?
  2. I check often. I'll never give up hope that someday there will be a new Guyver anime. I also think it's very likely we could see something Guyver related after the manga is finally finished.
  3. Galerians! Gameplay description from Wikipedia: "Galerians is a survival horror game in the vein of early games in the Resident Evil series. Galerians employs the so-called "tank controls" scheme, in which pressing up causes the character to walk forward, while down causes the character to backpedal slowly. Graphics are made up polygonal characters on pre-rendered backgrounds. The player progresses through the game by finding items and clues which, when used in the appropriate locations, allow access to new areas. The key difference to Resident Evil is that Galerians does not employ gun-based combat, but instead features the use of psychic powers, which make it difficult to fight more than one enemy at a time. Rion has several types of psychic powers at his disposal. His offensive powers are enabled via drugs (which are known in the English version as PPECs [Psychic Power Enhancement Chemicals]). Because the number of vials of these drugs present in the game is finite, conservation is important. Rion's offensive powers have a 1-2 second charge time, making it important to find a safe interval before launching an attack. Enemies do not leave items and Rion does not gain experience for fighting them, encouraging the player to avoid combat where possible. There are three gauges that regulate Rion's status - a health meter that depletes as Rion takes damage, the AP meter which counts up when Rion takes damage, uses abilities, or is under stress, similar to a limit break mechanic and a drug meter that depletes as Rion uses his powers. When the AP meter is full, Rion loses control of his powers, releasing a continuous psychic assault that will kill non-boss enemies in a single blow. This condition, known as shorting, is fatal to Rion if allowed to go on too long."
  4. I can attest to this. I had Guyver Gigantic Dark. It broke in half when I was attempting to simply dust it off. I lifted it gently by its torso and the thing just fell apart. My heart sank to the floor. What really hurt was the fact that I found it at my local anime convention. It was the only Guyver figure I've ever seen there. I picked it up in a heartbeat. When it broke I was crushed. My advice is if you do decide to get an old Max Factory Guyver figure keep it in the box.
  5. The T-3000 would be formidable, but far from invincible. Like previous Terminator models it can be beaten, especially by a Guyver. Once Sho sees the T-3000's capabilities he would more than likely summon Gigantic. In recent volumes Sho has proven to be a confident and capable fighter. He has also shown that he is less likely to hesitate while facing a new adversary. The key to beating this new Terminator model would be the complete destruction of its body. A Gigantic's sonic buster, giga-smasher, and gravity ram would be more than enough to accomplish this. Sho is pretty creative nowadays, so I'm more than certain he could find a unique way to defeat the T-3000.
  6. How did Ben Affleck do as Batman?
  7. Here it is! Vol 32! Loving every page!
  8. Book 32 just arrived today! When I can find someone with a smartphone to take a photo I'll post the proof ASAP!
  9. Greetings! What does the Advocacy think of the current Power Rangers series? Do you guys like Dino Charge? How about Dino Super Charge? If so what do you like about it?
  10. This is the kind of collection Guyver fans can only dream of! I am in absolute awe!
  11. I have a question for those who've been keeping tabs on Dragon Ball Super. What do you think of the whole universal tournament thing? Do you like the idea? Do you like the new fighters brought in by Champa? Have you been following the anime or manga version? Are transformations allowed in the tournament? I remember reading in the manga that they were not allowed. If this is the case why is Frost allowed to transform along with Goku? Is Super Saiyan Blue allowed?
  12. I like the Dragon Ball Super Manga, but I can't stand the anime. I think Toriyama is worn out and just trying to find anything to appease the fans. I thought the two recent movies were good, especially Resurrection F. I have no shame in loving Super Saiyan Blue and Golden Frieza. Something about them just seems refreshing. I really wish the new forms become available for a created character in a new Dragon Ball Xenoverse game.
  13. I think Agito will always be scheming in someway. Whether it's still about world domination or not is another story. He may have re-evaluated his his overall game plan after getting trounced by Sho. No doubt he will want to get his hands on those two zoacrystals for whatever purpose. Giving one to Shizu would definitely give his personal army quite the advantage. I am curious about whether or not Agito even knows about Apollyon yet. If he does I wonder if he'd think it'd be wise to tussle with him right now.
  14. Thank you!
  15. Thanks!
  16. 2008 I believe. Happy bday!! Thank you!
  17. Finally received vol 25 for my birthday! Here's the proof!
  18. I really hope the rogue zoalords go down in this fight. I want it to be an absolute squash match! I also hope Apollyon shows up to snatch their zoacrystals.
  19. I don't see how they could make it like it was in the comic. In the comic: - Spidey was already working for Tony Stark in his civilian identity of Peter Parker, and helped him in his attempt to stop the Superhuman Registration Act politically. - He revealed his civilian identity to the public for the first time ever when the SHRA went into effect to support it. - He changed his views when the actual civil war began, mainly because of the way the pro-registration side treated prisoners and, If I remember Correctly, the death of Goliath and the cloning of Thor (and wouldn't it be something if they cloned Thor in the movie? Doubt it though). - He went underground after the war, but then Aunt May got shot and he sought help from, among others, Tony Stark again. You just can't do all that in a movie where you introduce Spider-Man. *** Hold on. Almost all the Avengers are in this movie. Only Thor and the Hulk are missing. This is almost a third Avengers movie! I'm just worried about the whole revealing the identity to the public. Perhaps I'm just being paranoid. I will try not to be critical either way. I will watch the movie and just enjoy it for what it is.
  20. I really hope Spidey's story will be different from the Marvel Civil War comic. I did not like how it turned out. I have high hopes for the movie though. It looks really good.
  21. I once saw someone playing as Guyver 1 in MUGEN. I thought having a Guyver in a 2D fighting game was pretty cool.
  22. Magnificent! My favorite track off of Ghostlights!
  23. Finally ordered volume 32! I really hope this'll be enough to gain access to this volume's scans. I'll post an image of the volume when it arrives. It's gonna be a while though.
  24. I believe he mentioned that he was planning on "meeting" with Guyver 1, but Guyot was his priority. And with Guyot getting away, Apollyon decided to leave. Which Sho didn't like, but Apollyon got away. I could only guess what Apollon would want to meet with Sho for. Perhaps it could be in regards to Apollon's overall goal. There is one thing that has caught my attention recently. I saw an untranslated chapter online featuring a blank faced Archanfel living with the Segawa's in a small house. I also remember seeing Apollon appearing with Sho's giant severed hand, and Archanfel poking his head out of a window to see what's going on. My question is why are the Segawa's living in a house in with Archanfel in the first place? Apollyon kidnapped them during Guyots attack on the mansion. It seems whatever happened to Archanphel after reviving Imakarum has affected him even more, and he needs to eat and live like a human, rather than just hibernating like he has done in the past. And I doubt Archanphel can cook very well. So Apollyon kidnapped two people he knows that could take care of him ( assuming he is who the majority of us think he is)... possibly also because he will require Guyver 1's help at some point and they have a double purpose as helpers and leverage on Sho. As for why the Exceed Hand was there... Apollyon used Li Yentsui's ability to cut Sho's hand off after Sho had grabbed him, and teleported away with it. It kind of fell and shook the house as they were eating. If Apollon is who everyone thinks he is how on earth did he get that snazzy armor? Supposedly it's made out of the same material as the control metal, or at least something similar. Also, am I writing Apollon's name correctly?
  25. Right at the moment Tenchi in Tokyo, Elfen Lied, Inuyasha, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. I might get some flack for this, but I also did not like Guyver: Out of Control very much. Everything just felt way off. The only thing that I did like was Valcuria's Guyver design.
