Updated Prime 1 Sculpts!

Thanks dude! I can never get over just how great guyver action figures are in general. As a design it just lends itself so well to being sculpted in 3D. I know Takaya is a massive monster action figure collector himself, so it's almost as if he designed the anatomy to work well as an articulated model. Hoping we hear some news at C3TOKYO2017 next weekend, but I won't hold my breath. Then we've got the 40th Miyazawa Model Exhibition (第40回ミヤザワ) in Nov/Dec. Failing that, next WonFes is on Feb 18th. 184 days to go!!

Received my Guyver III! And with that, my display is complete. Freakin awesome! I love how things went full circle from 2005 to 2015! Lets wait and see if we get more! I don' want to have to wait another 10 years! Give me that Alkanfel already Goodsmile!

Just to clarify what Matt is saying, only the first 30 (and a bit) volumes are available free online. If you'd like to be provided with translated scan of volumes 30, 31 & 32, you simply need to post evidence that you own at least 16 physical tankobon copies. This shows your contribution to the fandom through financial support of the guyver franchise. If you don't own any yet, it's a great time to invest. The more who do, the better chance we all have of the hiatus coming to an end!!

This ones easy. You just grab Saitama and tell him Guyver is a disaster level threat and will be a good sparing challenge. One Punch later ....boom.... Problem solved.

Thats a shame. Same as the Soft Vinyl one. Was looking for something in scale to pose with my Sanken Gigantic. I guess at least this is more dynamic!

Thanks Guyver1! Baoh and Guyver are 2 original favs of mine. I love that whole evil agency posing as a legitamate cooporation, doing secret experiments genre. And the unlikely hero who ends up "the escaped experiment". Id like to find another 80s series like that. For modern stuff Terraformars is pretty good I guess.

Nice collections guys as always! This post is a little off topic, but I thought i'd share a picture of my latest edition. Whilst not Guyver, those of you who remember Boah will recall the similarities in plot and character design! It was made in 1984 by Hirohiko Araki (of JoJo fame) and i don't doubt that both Araki and Takaya took influence from Go Nagai and 80's Hollywood Sci-Fi. It's such a shame Baoh only had 2 volumes, but JoJo was also a classic, so can't complain. Anyway, the figure was a limited exclusive to Winter WonFes this year. Only 1,500 made, so I was lucky enough to find it on Mandarake for $100. I'm very please indeed!

Although it almost feels like the end of an era...........no more upcoming Figmas, no new chapters announced and no anime........... I'm worried it'll slowly be forgotten if it doesn't make a comeback in some form of media or another!

Sad news about your GIIF Movie Ver. Mines still MISB. I felt no need to open it as I have the manga ver. on display. I'm also crossing my figures for more Figmas. There's 44 Days until Summer WonFes, so really hoping we see more alongside GIII's release. I've been clear on my personal Fav's before, and whilst Griselda and Libertus would be great, i'd really like a Aptom Omega Blast!!! Like the Prime 1 statue, only articulated!

I was in the same boat as you until a year ago when I decided it was worth buying the manga for. But seriously, if you want to complain about the hiatus, atleast catch up on the 3 volumes you haven't read yet. You're over 20 chapters behind! The scanlations of vol 30, 31 and 32 have not been publicly distributed and the only ones to have them are those who have bought the official volumes. $5 per book isn't going to break the bank and I know it's a little unorthodox compared to other "free" sclanlation groups, but it's for the good of the franchise. http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/searches?term.media=BOOK&page=&agg_use=media_submedia&term.media_format=&q=guyver Maybe if more people buy the manga, it will return sooner!

I think at this point people are expecting Kurmeggnic and Jabir to fall against Agito. Although they could always turn it around. There's also speculation that Imakarum is Apollyon, which leaves Barcas, Shin and Galenos. Barcas and Galenos are the only 2 who's Zoaforms we are yet to see.

Personally i'm still pumped for the Guyver III Figma in July!! Gonna be the biggest figure release this year!! I'll be eagerly anticipating Wonder Festival in July as well for new announcements. New content will always come, but sometimes it's good to take break for a while. On the bright side, Berserk is back and has a S2 anime airing!

Shame, when you first said their site was down I thought you meant collectiblegroup, but then I realised they are only the reseller and not the manufacturers. I honestly did wonder how long it would take before legal got involved as they were being advertised pretty mainstream for bootlegs. Although that's a bit of a harsh term as the scale and electronics really did set them apart. I wonder whether that's why collectiblegroup are having to sell off their stock fast. They don't want to be complicit.

Really? What makes you say that? They showed thier last prototypes at the Singapore Model Expo last year, I was really hoping we'd see more from them. You can really appreciate the work that has gone into these. They must have been huge Guyver fans!!

Thanks guys! They are indeed very cool! The photo's really don't do them justice as the flash spoils the effect the LED's give and the low light photo's always come out somewhat grainy. I really should learn how to use my camera better The red exceed is definitely on my want list, along with the Guyver I. The Murakami also looks pretty cool, hopefully they will be more affordable as they won't be as big. If they are going to stick to upscaling BFC's then they really need to do Imakarum and Guyver III.

Well I finally got around to opening Sanken Studio Gigantic Dark and doing a photo shoot with them together. Enjoy!
