Thanks for sharing!! I've bitten the bullet and just ordered the Impact Gray Ver. from Nippon-Yassan for £12.96 including shipping! I think the concrete effect is more fitting with Guyver than the earth..........but I may get the beige one from amiami another time...... Now to track down the stands.....Looks like they got a re-release this month. Is this the right one? http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10111431 If so I'm hoping they get some extra stock in today!!

BFC Guyver looks OK, not really had a big play with it , but I think Figma will work better assuming it will be more dynamically poseable! g1.jpg g2.jpg a heads up to those buying these effects parts...none of the stage acts shown in the publicity shots ( the clear plastic arms and bases) come with the effect part itself, which sucks because it costs about £20 for 3 of them.... mine are all used up on other figures and I bought this for DBZ figuarts really, but I had to get the Guyver on there just to see! This is really Awesome!! Great to see the Guyver Figma finally up for pre-order!! I hope this line takes off!! About that base......the di:stage one from goodsmile doesn't look that great. I'm still more interested in those Tamashii Effect, although I have to admit they don't look as great in your photos as they do in the promo pics........what is the overall quality like? The beige one is on sale at amiami, so i'm considering picking it up.....but dunno whether I would have prefered the grey.....anywhere still selling that one? Plus, as you said, looks like the stands are needed separately........I guess my best bet is the Tamasii Stage acts: http://www.tamashii.jp/item_brand/tamashii_stage/ any suggests one which is the best to get? Humanoid 5?

Yeah, I don't expect it will pop up there before the announcement is made, but I'm using it as a guide for when we can expect the release. Since it's unlikely he'll drop before the already announced stuff.............No sign of him at today's Miyazawa Model Exhibition, which is a real shame! Maybe Wonder Festival in July? Oh wow!! Just read this..............(2 months later) lol.............yeah it seems I jumped the gun and Guyver I was at WF!! We're now April..........but still no sign of a pre-order......... In response to your questions...........yes, Max Factory did announce a Figma at Wonder Festival last year.............it's been 12 months since then, and whilst pre-orders were supposed to go up in December for an April release, nothing has yet materialized........ I was hoping we might have seen something at yesterdays Wonder Festival in Japan, but sadly it doesn't look good. They seem to be cashing in on the Shingeki No Kyojin series for now............. The latest e-mail response from Max Factory after being asked about the release was: "Hello. Thank you very much for contacting us. However, it has not been decided, yet. If any news comes up, you will see it on our homepage. Thank you for your kind understanding." My feeling is that the figure has been delayed indefinitely and it's quite possible it will end up in the same abyss as all the other Guyver prototypes they have shown us over the past 5 years................. Sorry it couldn't have been better news.............

Any news on the pre-order for this Guyver I Figma? Wasn't it supposed to go up in December with an April release date? They've already announced another Shingeki figure for June.................looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer.... Anyway, Happy New Year Everyone!!

Since I wanted the hyper zoanoid team 5 to display anyway, I picked them up loose without packaging. I managed to get all 4 shipped for just under $100. That was around this time last year!! I was over the moon!

Wow!! Without doubt the best chapter we've had in months imho!! Bored of Valkyria back stories and Tetsuo & Mizuki exploration on Silha. I've been patiently waiting to see more of zoalords in their zoaforms. It's this art that got me into Guyver in the first place!! Shin looks awesome!! That'll be my desktop bg for the next 6 months And Waferdanos rival just sealed the deal!! Simply awesome!!

Hey guys, bumped the Guyver Figma thread since we'll probably hear more at Wonder Festival. I don't think we ever got a proper translation of the interview, but my understanding was that it was an experimental line and if released wouldn't be until 2014............

Wonder Festival Summer opens this weekend! It's been 6 months since we heard anything about that Guyver I Figma, and MF's figma calendar is booked up until Jan 2014 now, so may finally get a release date and maybe even some more prototypes!!!! I really hope so!!

Man!! Looks like all our finger crossing over the past few weeks was well worth it. Sort of. Seen this news the other week, but only just now had a chance to post!! This is pretty awesome stuff, although I'm a little sad that there's no mention of the BFC line and this looks like a reboot of the series. I'll be regularly checking the Figma release table to see when he's out: http://www.figma.jp/products/products.html Looking at it they're already set up till June, so expecting a July release if we're lucky. I'm personally going to hold out on this however until we know how solid the line is. With Berserk we only got Gutts & Griffiths and then no more. So my concern is they'll only do Guyver I & III and then drop the line if it doesn't sell. As much as I want to support them, I don't want another incomplete collection! I also wonder whether they'll cover all characters from the series or just focus on "current" appearances, i.e. they may not bother with Aptom Ver.4 Full Blast, Murakami, Guyver II, ZX-Tole(Hyper/NEO), Gyuot or Plukstehrl. Instead we may just get Figma versions of: Guyer I Guyver III Gigantic Gigantic Dark And then New Figmas of: Gigantic XD Aptom Ver.5 Omega Blast Guyver IIF Apollyon I think i'll be holding out for the last 4 What I'm really hoping is these Figma's are just a stop gap until the BFC line is sorted. Small scall Guyver I & II would be fine, but I don't want the new Alky to be Figma and small than my Imakarum!! Also, I don't know whether anyone mentioned it, but some existing BFC's were shown at Wonder Festival as well. Along with Vinyl kits:

Man! Nice Chapter!! This new Zoanoid looks so Aptom/Team 5/Enzyme 3-ish. He's clearly the work of Balcus and probably a subbordinate of Mirabilis. Unless he's a Lost Number of course........maybe a new ally! Very interesting!! For a moment I almost forgot I was reading guyver and thought this was a new Berserk chapter, lol, all those creatures, fairys, sirens, wierd thing with eyes, etc. lol

She's the "Hope" and along with Tetsuro, she's the reason Sho continues to fight to protect mankind. She's supposed to be weak, she represents the meak that those with power must protect. Also, this is gonna sound a bit out there, but is it just me or does that Minotaur zoanoid look awfully like Aptom? I mean, I know he's just been revealed to be with Sho confronting Shin, but it wouldn't be inconceivable that some of his cells managed to travel with Apolloyn and have regenerated a copy by assimilating some of the creatures on Silha? Pretty hairbrained I know, but it's an idea, lol

More so for my ever growing One Piece POP collection, lol Here see, I know it's not Guyver related, but hey: Back to guyver figures....Saw a set of BFW Gaster & Derzerb sell out fast on Mandarake for 5,000 yen the other day. The packaging was opened, but at least they came with it. I got my four Hyperzoanoids set 3 & 4 for 60 EUR total, so I was pleased, but they came loose without packaging. I've been waiting for Alkanphel before doing another photo shoot, but you've inspired me with your dynamic poses so i think i'll create a new shelf display for my guyver figures with more manga scans, top and bottom this time

Nah, sadly nothing was revealed at Wonder Festival last month, I still have my fingers crossed, as C3 Expo is on the 25th August, but considering Max Factory are now making Fairy Tail figures amongst other things I won't get my hopes up On a positive note, saw some BFC's on Mandarake for anyone still looking, including an opened Gigantic Dark for 10,000 yen (100 EUR) and an unopened Pluqstahl for only 8,000 yen (80 EUR) bargain! http://ekizo.mandara...trategy=keyword Sadly the Guyver III and Murakami has already sold out, and I haven't seen another Imakarum come up since the one I bought for 15,000 yen almost 6 months ago. So glad I got it when I did!!

I was thinking maybe an animal guyver would be cool. What if an Elephant activated the guyver unit? or a Grizzly bear? Would like to see Takaya-sans art work for an animal Guyver!!

How do we even know that Imakarum has retained his memories and hasn't now been completely brainwashed. His personality changed dramatically after his initial transformation, so it wouldn't be inconceivable that his mind is completely gone and he's been programmed only with the mission at hand. Also, with his new power I suspect he considers all zoanoid/zoalords as mere insects. He didn't even flinch during his previous battle with Caerleon.

Thanks Aether. Truth is I've always struggled to get them into an action pose that looks natural. They always come off a bit akward, but I'm sure I could if I used a picture as a reference and spent a bit of time. I like the pose you've given GI in your picture. I'm glad you like the background art idea. WOW. Very epic! I wasn't expecting the chapter so soon!! I really do hope Apollyon is Imakarum!! Wonder where he's taken the Segawa's. Back to Silha and Archanfel perhaps? I would like to know what happened to Natsuki also, but I'm hoping that this confusion means that Shizu can atleast get away and be restored in the concoction chamber. Even if it is for the last time. Were we ever told exactly how long her life had been reduced to? Sho will undoubtedly be pissed, but he'll need Agito's help if he wants to rescue Mizuki & Tetsuro. Can you imagine a Gigantic tag team against Apollyon/Imakarum (rematch anyone?)
