If I remember correctly the particle energy is what is used as a "disruptive" to matter and is what breaks it down on the molecular level, but then the actual force from the smasher is what "erases" the matter, is that right? If so wouldn't it mean that though the megasmasher and the voltekka are different, they both perform the same function which is wiping out all form of matter? So I would like to know if the two had a power struggle which of them would win or would they cancel each other out? As for the fight itself, the Guyver's HF Swords, pressure cannon, and Sonic Buster are his Aces in the hole. The Tekk armor definitely beats out the Guyver bio-armor in terms of toughness, but not much can repel HF weapons and there is a chance that the pressure cannon may or may not work (depending) on where it hits. However the Guyver bio-armor can regenerate while the Tekk armor cannot and that can prove to be fatal to Tekkaman. It terms of strength they seem to be very closely matched. If they were to get into a fist fight I would say Tekkaman would win if it is between D-Boy and Sho because of D-Boy's martial arts experience. However if it was between them and they were fully utilizing the powers beset to them than my money would be on Sho because over the years; Sho has become quite the battlefield strategist and has learned how to fully utilize the Guyver's powers/potential. Plus the Guyver does have the sensory orbs that alert him of danger while Tekkaman does not. However, the Guyver system eats a lot of energy very quickly which can be their downfall, unless it's like Tekkaman Blade with the 30 minute time limit that he may try to avoid and revert back. Tekkaman however seems to only have the lancer as his main source of attack which can be dodged more easily than most attacks, plus how would it hold up to a HF sword struggle? Aside from certain blades that fire from the lancer and the Voltekka I cannot remember if Tekkaman has any other weapons or projectiles other than the energy whip he can use to get his lancer back. All in all the battle would ultimately be decided by the host/wearer of the armor because though vastly different the two systems seem to offset each other's strong suites in one form or another. Although a fight between the Gigantic and Blaster Tekkaman I would love to see.

Looks really awesome! Salkafar is right about touching up to make it "pop", like maybe some wash that just gets in the cracks? All in all a great job, can't wait to see the others.

Tekkaman Blade was the one who took the Nuclear Warhead at point blank.

Awesome chapter. Can't wait to see what Sho's next move will be. Thank you everyone!

I have to say Rogue Angel that you and all involved with the project did a fantastic job! I thought Martin Perks portrayed Sho quite well and that his voice sounded really cool as a Guyver. However, I do have to ask did you change the sound effect for the Guyver's steps because I own a copy of the Guyver Out of Control on VHS and I remember the Guyver's steps sounded like clanky metallic steps? Again amazing job!

The sad thing is that there is a horror movie based on that scenario. However, the thought of Apollyon avoiding the Guyvers is perplexing. Perhaps he has other plans for them or perhaps the armor he wears acts strangely when around a Guyver. Maybe the armor is made of the same material as the Creator's ships and the Guyver's can manipulate the armor with their control medal. Or maybe it's more similar to when Sho reabsorbed the bio-booster monster back in the second volume.

commit to what exactly?

Actually I think the gravitational forces and energy that is created from the gravity controller is what essentially powers the armor, but in order to continue producing it or syphoning it from surrounding elements it utilizes the host's energy to do it. Much like us using food as an energy source to keep us going.

Thank you for the hard work Guyver Alpha!

Interesting chapter, just wish there was more of it or a little less of them wondering around. But the most significant thing to me was the mural with the creator's, Archanfel , and all of the creations bowing down before them. You know in the next chapter Apollyn is gonna be behind them so casually like he has been there the whole time just to say something like "so I see you've made your way here".

I chose Li not really for his personality, but I thought his ability was just wicked. I like Archanfel, Guyot, Imakurum, and Shin as well, but Li was the only one that had a power that made my jaw drop and go "well that was cool". Also I like Khan because come on, who doesn't like a giant kaiju throw down? However on the topic on Balcus being evil I think he isn't evil per say; just cold and calculative and very loyal to Archenfel and Chronos.

I am very impressed by the detail on Aptom. He looks like he just came of right out of the manga, but in color. Nice work. Do you have others done in this way?

I never thought about the Zoalords having a limited number to transform. It is a possibility if you think about it though and it could explain Archanfel's condition. Archanfel has been around since ancient times and his form is so powerful it could take a tremendous amount of energy especially after destroying the meteor to save earth and had that "mental" attack from the Uranus that resulted in his thousands of years sleep. The Uranus could have done something to disrupt the energy of the Zoacrystals. The Zoacrystals from Archanfel's body that were extracted could still have an adverse affect on the other Zoalord's. Not sure if this holds any truth, but nonetheless a really good concept to bounce around.

I do have all the original 12 OVA VHS tapes, but I unfortunately don't have a picture of them. However you can see the pictures at this amazon page: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Guyver#/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Guyver+VHS&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3AGuyver+VHS For the item name look for "Guyver Data # [VHS]". Also if I remember correctly the original VHS tapes also came with trading cards and at the end had like an exclusive look at Chronos' database about the Guyver and their Zoanoids. It was really cool.

Well I can't remember where I got the information, but I did manage to find an old and I think abandoned site that talks a little bit about the novel. http://www.warriorguyver.com/starsguyverpage/page.htm Click on Novel in the upper selection box.

Just making a few predictions on the matter. Shizu isn't dead, but is possibly on her last leg unless Doctor Hekkering figured a way to sustain or prolong a Protolord's lifespan, if not than Agito just may very well toss her aside and find a new general to control the Libertus. Valcuria and Guyot got away and are probably consulting with the other rogue Zoalords. Apollyon who I believe to still be a new character and not a preexisting one is keeping Tetsuro and Mizuki to probably blackmail Sho is some way. Agito I think now has the ability to become a Gigantic XD. Remember from when Sho and Agito's fight came to a close Agito's navigational sphere began to light up and it was saying something like downloading information. Those are my guesses anyone else want to take a stab at it?

Actually I think I remember reading somewhere that the artist was actually an under study of Takaya-san and when the actual writer came to him about this novel she was doing; he had refused but thought it would be a good chance for Mizuki Kei.

Is there a way to translate the whole novel and release it with all the illustrations like an official book, like what is being done with the Guyver monthly chapters and then download it in it's entirety? Also the "Post" button seems busted.

This is an awesome piece of news. I knew David Hayter had an interest with Guyver and I think hearing somewhere that when he proposed the idea for a third Guyver movie to Steve Wang he already started to write up a basic outline for the movie, but it didn't go any further than that. The only thing that I can think of to help this project to go further is to try and re-inspire David Hayter and possibly Steve Wang to have them start talking about it. My last idea is to start with your local comic book stores and see if there is a way to start up getting Guyver manga's and sell at their store. You might be surprised how many people are willing to try to work with you if you just ask. And hell a petition couldn't hurt right? Comic Con is coming up if anyone is attending have a petition set up, especially next to the Guyver merchandise with Funimation.

Awesome chapter! But what does Apollon want with Tetsuro and Mizuki? Does he actually have some kind of connection with Sho? Well, lets recap different possibilities: 1) Apollon is either Archanfel or Imakurum. 2) A creation of the Uranus for either a fail safe left on earth or Arbiter sent to earth recently. 3) He is a Uranus being wearing a suit (his face does look a lot like a Uranus being). 4) A lost Zoalord. 5) A possible enemy of the Uranus that wants to harvest the power of the Zoacrystals. What do you think?
-
Well, if Apollon was a contingency of any kind it wouldn't be against Archanfel entirely, but the whole of humanity. Though it is a small gap there were months where the Uranus put a stop to all of their plans and maybe when they were coming to a decision they decided to create Apollon before they left or maybe Apollon was going to originally become the 2nd Zoalord created by the Uranus, but stopped it after the events of of Guyver 0 and they could've been in the middle of making Apollon during those events then suddenly decided to finish him but give him a new derogative. The Uranus did state they would create Eleven others like Archanfel for their plans. This is of course all speculation on my part, but the whole Apollon origin theory can be virtually limitless until Takaya sensei is ready to reveal the "whole" that is Apollon. -Guyver0

Just a thought on the whole Apollon using the same techniques as the other Zoalords including Archenfel/Imakurum and Edward Carlleon he maybe an exact counter balance with Archanfel. The Uranus did create Archafel and gave him his power in the first place, it wouldn't be a wild assumption that they created an equal to Archanfel to fight against him. If that is the case then Apollon may just be a Nemesis to Archanfel. Kind of Link vs Dark Link from Legend of Zelda? I know weird reference, but is the only one coming to mind at the time. -Guyver0

Apollon being left behind as a fail safe is a strong possibility. However I personally still believe that he just recently came to Earth by order of the Uranus. Perhaps when the Uranus came back to Earth they were shocked to see all of their experiments not only thriving, but preparing an attack. However the Uranus may only be targeting Archanfel and his fellow Zoalords because they're the immediate threat and are trying other alternatives like Apollon instead of doing something drastic like genocide. The only one who knows at the moment is Takaya sensei. -Guyver0
