I agree wholeheartedly. Awesome job on breaking this down. Although I think if I don't, someone will mention it. The only scene that comes close to sexually objectifying women in the Guyver universe is the Guyver: Out of Control OVA where Inspector Valkyria is "raped" by the unit when she activates it. Now I assume that the Guyver would invade the person's body(man/woman) in this manner regardless, but Valkyria's was much more explicit. However, I believe that Yoshiki Takaya was just really getting out of his hentai manga writing for the first time, so it may have been a force of habit. Either that or it was a test to see where hentai stands in the Guyver universe, like if it is something that is really a necessity. Which thankfully it isn't.

I've always been partial to the Bonga design so I would go with that or possibly Valvas. I've noticed that so far no one is choosing blaster types.

Oh no, I am not saying that the hideout could be found through Chrono archives, but rather the location of the other Zoalords (Barcus, Galenos, Jabril, and Krumeggnic) should be accessible. So just wondering why Guyot is targeted and not the others. Could it be that he is a constant threat because he knows about a Zoalord combining with a Guyver Unit or perhaps that Apollyon is after the Remover that may still be in Guyot's possesion. Or heck for all we know Apollyon isn't after Guyot, but rather Valcuria. Yeah wouldn't that be ironic if Lisker turned out to be Apollyon. I don't think that is the case, but if so imagine me doing this.==>

Well if it comes to pass that Imakirum is Apollyon or he is a being that is being controlled by Archefel's subconscious than yes he would know where the other Zoalord's are due to being able to access Chronos logs. However, if it was due to sensing; is there a reason he hasn't attacked Galenos, Jabril, and/or Krumeggnic? Also could Apollyon sense Guyot since he is now just a Protolord? I know Guyot could sense Murakami way back during the Relic's Point conflict, but wasn't that due to them being similar? Or did Apollyon track Guyot ever since the attack on the Odagiri Mansion? I know I am rambling and please don't think that I am saying I am right. It's just some questions that came to mind and I wanted to express.
-
Assuming Apollyon is attacking Guyot what do you think his reason is for doing so? It can't be for a Zoacrystal because Guyot no longer has one. Also how did he know of Guyot's whereabouts? Not saying it isn't Apollyon, but these question do come to mind.

Guyver0 replied to Darksenshi's topic in Guyver
This past comic con I managed to get my hands on a Guyver wallscroll from the 2005 Anime and a Guyver 1 figurine. They also had Guyot and Zx-Tole, but I unfortunately didn't have anymore money. -
I remember reading that a human Guyver can live in a oxygen deprived environment for quite a while, but I don't they can indefinitely. I think eventually the host will "suffocate" in space, but the moment they enter an oxygenated area the Guyver can revive them.

It makes you wonder who would win in an absorbing tug of war; Aptom or the Bio-boosted creature? Kind of like if a Vampire bites a Zombie who becomes what?

You could still go to their web site and check it out: http://www.warriorguyver.com/wgfanfic/index.htm Last time I've been there they were working on their site and updating it.

Arkenfel also teleported to Relic's Point when he first appeared in the Manga when he was tracking down Guyot to get the Remover. But the question I'm trying to present is regardless of who Apollyon may or may not be why would Carleon refer to him as "lord"?
-
<p>Well what about Carleon he seemed to have had figured out who Apollyon's identity was during their fight. Right before his Zoacyrstal was removed he said "there is no else with my abilities unless...no my lord please wait!" or something like that.</p>

I'm inclined to agree that the Zoalords were first given Zoacrystals to prolong their lives and then had their battle forms created for them in the 20th Century and yes when Barcus first discovered Archenfel he was in a Processing Tank that was in one of the destroyed Uranus ships. However back to the idea of was it safe? I mean yes there had to be trial and error especially with Zoanoids and subsequently many had died even in the modern times when optimization was "perfected", but what about Zoalords? I mean were there candidates suitable to become Zoalords but died during early optimization?

I know this is pretty out there, but assuming if the bio-boosted creature does get it's hands on a control medal again and reforms and regenerates it's host is true. What would happen for example if G2 bio-boosted monster got Sho's control medal, would he just become another Sho?
-
Actually I think the reason why Archenfel killed those soldiers when he first appeared wasn't because he just didn't care about them, but rather he didn't want his presence to be known to every one else at Relic's Point. I'm not trying to justify what he did, but that is what I think.

Gyuot never controlled the Guyver or the bio-boosted creature. During the scene when Guyot says "You were useful to me Enzyme, but no more...Farewell!" He caused Enzyme the Zoanoid to "explode" thus killing the bio-boosted creature with Enzymes blood that spilled out. The Guyver or bio-boosted creature as far as we know has no master. Also I have been wondering, does anyone know or have a theory about in the manga when Sho's arm was bitten off by Enzyme it later regenerated and created a "Sho clone" and was even able to transform into the bio-boosted monster? Also why didn't Guyver II become a bio-boosted monster instead of dissolving, like Guyver I? I mean yes his control medal was destroyed whereas Guyver I's was simply removed, but that wouldn't matter would it? The only answer I can come up with that is plausible is that the bio-boosted organism itself does have a "life-span". When Guyver I's bio-boosted organism was harvested/cultivated to become a unit perhaps it was "young" and Guyver II's was already nearing dissolution stage or end of it's life? Like Aptom perhaps whatever the bio-boosted organism "eats" it can mimic it?

True, but for all we know Shou may have made the Gigantic strong enough to face Archanfel when they first met back at Relic's Point. I mean it seems Shou got only a small taste of what Archanfel can do and made the Gigantic according to the amount of strength that was displayed?
-
Very cool I think the height between Guyver 1 and Guyot are correct. The only thing I can say about Guyot's suit is that I know some of the gravity orbs do break through the cloth(?) material, most notably the ones around his hips. Also do you plan on having Guyot without his suit, perhaps an alternate costume? Keep up the amazing work Odin!
-
Perhaps the Remover kept him alive somehow. I mean in order for him to use the Remover he had to "feed" it some of his own bio-energy so perhaps there was enough bio-energy to keep him alive?
-
Amazing work and for the lack of a better term Shin is certainly...horny... As for his powers I thought that both he and Purgstall kind of complimented each other like Purgstall was lightning and Shin is thunder? The reason why is that we have seen Shin create a barrier to protect Cloud Gate during Sho and Agito's fight. He also created barriers that blocked Kabrals missiles during his fight with the Gigantic Exceed, but that looked to me like bursts of energy. So when the energy "bursts" it creates a thunder clap of sorts. So perhaps he can "project" energy in a different location and then materialize it? Similar to when Archenphel created that energy shredder in an attempt to kill Aptom when he was first introduced. I know I am probably wrong and if so please correct me, but that is just how it looked to me.

Guyver Weapons against DC / Marvel Heroes & Villains
Guyver0 replied to Toku Warrior's topic in Philosophy
This has really turned into one heck of a debate. Well, I agree in taking the Guyver and the other heroes/villains and placing them in a "neutral world" is the best way of going about this. However, I think the problem is that though the Guyver has remained repetitive and hasn't taken colossal leaps and bounds like Superman for example nor has it created Alternate Universes it is easier to dictate his powers and abilities. But in concerns with DC's and Marvel's heroes and villains is that so many people have inserted their own ideas and beliefs that the core idea has been warped to the point of being unrecognized or that there are just multiple versions of that said character. What I think needs to happen before we continue further is narrow down specifically which version and story arc of Superman, Batman, Iron Man, etc and their usual arsenal like which Captain America's shields is used, that can be agreed upon being the representation of that character respectively. I know that this would be very difficult considering that everyone here has their own views as well (which is fine) and may become an entirely different debate. But to be fair I think the final say for Guyver vs (which version) should go to the one who started the thread; Ryuu-Oh. Sorry for throwing you under bus Ryuu-Oh, but I do think that is fair. -
Agreed, the pods for the bio-lasers are a bit too bulbous and need to be either smoothed out or spread out a bit. However the color looks dead on except for the eyes. I thought Vamore had yellow eyes like Gregole as well? Looking forward to how it looks with the pods open.

I haven't heard any news about a new figma, but I did get my hands on a Guyver 1 Max Factory Figma back from around the 20th anniversary and saw a Guyot and Zx-Tole figma. I also got my hands on a wicked Guyver wall scroll.

Yeah, Takaya did mention that he regretted killing Lisker off so soon which is why he got a bit more face time in Guyver: The Bio-Boosted Armor. Makes you wonder how close Lisker and Val became. I mean did they become the best of siblings or perhaps something more?
-
So who else here thinks that Val originally came to Japan to get revenge against Sho?
-
Very awesome work Odin, the colors look right. Now this could just be me and the size of my screen but the shadowing on Aptom looks a lot heavier than it does on Guyvers 1 and 3.
