Yes, Kaiser Dragoon and guyverfanatic are probably right
However, Vengeance, I didn't say the Lycanlord factor would not have an effect with Malice unit, just that it should not be compared to Zagam. The Malice unit will respond to such a host in its own way.
-
Not likely since Zagam and Dreadnought are not likely to meet any time soon. Remember they exist in two seperate fics that operate independantly from each other. I'm only entertaining this debate under a what if category since so many readers are wondering about it.
But you are still missing stuff from the Data File. Nice idea though jedi-guyver but you're not paying attention to the rules of quantum fusion. Read between the lines.
As for the Dimensional Maeltrom attack, it would not effect the Matrix powers like the W'Kar element. The attack is simply as it is described in Zagam's data file. This by no means Dreadnought would not need to dodge that attack right quick cause nothing short of his top shielding could protect him from it but that's better than most characters in the fic since few can shield against a dimensional attack.
-
If the conversion took Dreadnought from 25x to Zagam 60x then the new Malice unit is gonna be scarey
Sorry but you can't use that as a comparison. Zagam's power is a result of several factors unique to him and can't be used to estimate the power of other characters. The Malice unit must be considered by its own characteristics and not by how alteration of a host effected another very different unit.
Though, considering the way Anubis thinks, you are probably right on how the end result would be.
-
Basically the Matrix has trouble working within proximity to the W'Kar element because of the intense multi-dimensional energy disrupts the Matrix quantum energy field. But neither Zagam nor the Red Matrix posses a W'Kar Element.
Btw, just a hint but try comparing Zagam's and Dreadnought's DF's and seeing how they differ before theorizing how they could fight each other.
I.E.> The rules for fusion for one.
Also quantum time is not the only difference

Actually I don't think either me or YoungGuyver were thinking of her outside of an example of appearance.
As for the arguement, we are not really saying the same thing YoungGuyver. You're over simplifying a bit there. The main point of discussion is the effect the Guyver would have on biological excess caused not by design but by our environment/lifestyle. But I would have to agree, there isn't much else to say on the matter.
-
The Guyver makes the same use of a female host as it does a male host, the chest plates become Mega Smashers for both. Only the shape is retained as it is part of the characteristics of the host. It would only be logical for the unit to interfer only if there is some characteristic of the host that would be in the way, otherwise it will not alter the host more than necessary for bonding.
As for not using up fat, stopping the digestion process would not stop the use of body fat. The use of fat is a distributed system seperate from the digestion process. Only the acquisition of some forms of fate is connected to the digestion process. Our bodies also produces fat as it is vital to the proper functioning of our bodies, from our brains down to every one of the cells that make up our body. We wouldn't need to eat to restore our fat reserves though as long as enough energy is provided to our cells then they will make their own as needed. But then it will fall under the domain of the Unit since it will be providing the needed energy and thus the host goes under the regulatory system of the unit which is far more efficient than our own.
The only reason there are so many fat people today is because the human race has not evolved fast enough to deal with changes in our living conditions. We are after all not very different from our ancient ancestors so our metabolism is set to deal with period of famine but now most of us have access to more food than we would ever need so of course many of us have become fat.
So I stand by my previously stated opinion. Obesity is after all a result of metabolic inefficiencies and I can see many ways and reasons for the end result of joining with a unit being a healthier host. This has nothing to do with Hollywood glamore, just logic. Also I never said the host would become a prime human specimen, just healthier, due to a more efficient metabolism.
-
The only thing I wanna know is HOW does he drain the energy? Is it like LFG with the spikes from the back or Reaper like with pyschical touch or W'kar like without contact of anykind? or something new....like his human form's vampiric like (not sure how thats spelled) with the whole blood sucking thing
You'll just have to wait till he demonstrates the ability.
Hint: Remember it's Allen writing Zagam.
-
I don't think the fat will go away. A female guyver still has breasts, so I'll say it's the same scenario. - I'm tired, and just trying to catch up on all my reading before a good warm shower. Just got back from camping this weekend, and had a 20Km hike through the RockyMountains today.
Sorry but you must be tired if you're comparing excess body fat to women's breasts YoungGuyver. You're comparing an outcome of over eating to biological design.
Anyway, I think everyone should also consider the factor of the unit itself. It's not like it just goes on top of the host, the unit does become part of the host when joined and will at the very least make the host healthier than normal as the unit's organism should also be factored in. That can easily fix metabolism inconsistencies that normally are responsible for obesity so I believe the host would eventually gain a healthier physical shape.

Personally, I think the orbs are a 3D sensory system that utilizes dimensional factors to map out the environment. Meaning the unit detects changes with the fabric of space time so can detect both motion and energy fields like a gravity attack.
Remember the G-Unit can freely go back and forth from Hyper Space and as the Gigantic can navigate hyper space for teleport/travel that the hyper sensors must be more advance than simple SONAR.
Our own vision is basically enhanced 2-D vision, only with both eyes do we have depth perception. The hyper sensors on the other hand perceive the entire environment and are true 3-D sensors. The fact they move around is not really all that surprising considering the human eye moves an average of 50 times a second.
Though I could be wrong but that's what I think.

Sorry, I don't always have time to answer questions every day, I gotta work too.
Anyway FOG3 is correct and here's some references if you need to convert those numbers.
Energy
1 Btu = 252.0 calories = 1055 joules
1000 joules = 0.9479 Btu
1 joule = 0.2388 calories
1 calorie = 4.187 joules
1 kilowatthour = 3.600 x 106 joules = 3,412 Btu
1 quad = 1015 Btu = 2.931 x 1011 kilowatthours
1 therm = 100,000 Btu
Power
1 watt = 1 joule/sec = 3.412 Btu/hr
1 Btu/hr = 0.2931 watts
1 kilowatt = 0.9478 Btu/sec = 1.341 horsepower
1 Btu/sec = 1.055 kilowatts
1 horsepower = 0.7068 Btu/sec = 0.7457 kilowatts
Basically a Guyver, if the Mega Smashers energy was converted into electricity at 100% efficiency, can release enough energy to supply all of the U.S. energy needs for just under a month or the entire world for about 3-4 days at our present energy consumption rate.

McAvoy, Anubis was not suppose to happen as the Kregan said.
Yes, W'Kar would have evolved eventually but not into Anubis. Anubis is a result of W'Kar's forced evolution. He simply evolved too quickly and at the worst possible time.
As for the W'Kar element exscaped_psycho, it feeds off emotions as well as energy.
-
It's not that clear cut exscaped_psycho, Anubis is not all powerful yet and the 15x Super Nova is a last resort weapon. The Matrix itself is only effected by the W'Kar element while in close proximity.
So it wouldn't be like Zagam would stand no chance, just not a very good one.
-
Clarification: The Matrix always had the ability to draw energy from higher dimensions. It just couldn't do more than channel it before. The Energy Draining system basically allows the Red Matrix to internalize the power.
I.E.> If the Red Matrix was seperate from Zagam this would mean it would be a lot more powerful than a normal Blue Matrix, which can only channel power. This allows the Red Matrix to handle a lot more power.
This basically gives Zagam a secondary Bio-Boost system seperate from the normal HSL system, allowing them to work together to channel and control even more power than normal. This combined with host Lycanlord enhancement grants Zagam his enormous power level.
-
That's just like asking why a flamethrower doesn't explode.
Napalm simply burns very hot and is otherwise handled just like any other flameable liquid. Darzerb is designed to be highly resistant to heat so the Napalm has no effect on him.
Napalm only becomes an explosive if it's ignited within a container, generating pressure with its heat/gas, but Darzerb only uses the napalm as a flamethrower so there is no danger of his head exploding.
-
Yes, exscaped_pyscho is correct, all WG's have the Darmon based energy draining system as back up in case the HSL fails. Just read the LFG Data File...
http://www.warriorguyver.com/wgfanfic/datafiles/dfcreator/lifeforceguyver.htm
And right in the description part you will see it clearly stated...
Solom had designed a backup energy system based on the Dark Being Darmon.and then the LFG unit...
It was then improved on for the final 5th generation unit, now called Warrior Guyver.Meaning the backup is in all later WG's. This is tech made to replicate the Darmon ability to drain energy from other lifeforms, it in no way means there are any actual Darmon Crystals in WG units. It only means WG units can replicate one of the Darmon Crystal's abilities if it had to.
What happened to Zagam is that this ability has been mutated to become a secondary power boost system. So just think of it like a super leech version of the WG2 CPM's.
-
Ok, McAvoy you missed my point. It was already discussed before, just because it is being discussed now does not help you since you have to refigure out the answers all over again.
As to the Guyver Zoalord, to make things a little clearer, there are different levels of power for each power range. Just because someone is classified as 2x does not mean he will be as powerful as others who are also rated at 2x. Things like stamina can easily set them apart as well as range of abilities. Also note GZ got stronger through the second half of Time War.
Kron was a master class zoalord so he had all the Zoalord abilities at his power range of 4x and would not have tired as quickly as the other Zoalords.
But for those still having a problem with this, like Brian said what till we rewrite that fic and everything will be much clearer.
-
That is why it is good to read the old Topics before they get deleted.
I.E.> There was a Topic that has only recently been deleted about a month ago that pretty much answered the question of Dreadnought's chances against a Warrior Guyver Alkanphel.
But now you have to guess at the answer all over again, as the admin answer to that question is...
A) Will never happen!
And on What If?
B) "No Comment!"
-
Zoalords were up to 2x in Manga as they only about equaled the Gigantic at best, aside from Alkanphel.
In Time War, the GZ was made from an inferior Zoalord-Brian has stated that before on the board, so he was only 2x and the armor made him 200x. He got the full 100% boost because Zoalords generate a lot of bio-energy so potential bio-boost is full.
Guyver Zoanoid however produces very little bio-energy and most of his power comes from the design of his body. Since the armor works off Bio-Boost, Guyver Zoanoid lack of potential only makes him 2x.
Warrior Alkanphel has already been theorized multiple times on this board. Since the WG unit bio-boosts 400xhost then a fully healed Alkanphel would be 16,000X, or 1,600,000 men. Also since he can blow up a moon with his normal power then as Warrior Guyver Alkanphel he would have the power to blow up a planet.
-
Shouldn't be a problem Young Guyver, just remember to also quote source material if it has been provided.
-
Would not make sense, a Zoalord like Imakarum could have single handedly won the war so there would never have been a Matrix. Also a zoalord could have remedied the blackened sky problem so the machines would never had needed to resort to using humans for power. Even if the machines managed to capture a Zoalord and use it's DNA to clone copies that they can use for batteries. They would eventually break free because of their natural strong wills and fact they are telepaths. The illusion would thus not hold and they would break free.
Besides Zoalords are practically immortal so fact they never age or die in the Matrix would be a big clue that they are not normal. The only way it could make sense is for hybrids like Elera who are no longer pure zoalords.
Anything else would not follow the standard set by the Guyver so belongs in the fan fiction section. Please repost there if you want to continue this topic.

Your assumptions only apply if the Unit exists in the real world so I repeat my basic statement of what happens in the Matrix stays in the Matrix, the host plugs would not be destroyed cause the unit does not exist in the real world. The most you would get is the host body rejecting the implants in which case they would probably die.
The only way for Zoalords to be in the Matrix is if the Matrix is based off the world of the Guyver instead of the real world as it once was and those Zoalords would most likely be Agents. Not entirely impossible since the second movie showed up surviving prorgam A.I.'s who just happen to be what we would call supernatural creatures with similar weaknesses to silver bullets, etc. But the Guyver unit would have to be created by a Hacker as it goes against the system. Probably a virus that infects a host in the system and manifests its code in the form we would recognize as the Guyver but all that as I said before would only happen within the Matrix, not outside unless the unit is recreated in the real world and the humans in the movie don't have the tech to do so as everything they have is salvaged from the machines. Remember many of the humans grew up in the Matrix so were basically raised with 20/21 century technology.

The Matrix is basically just a Virtual Reality program. Everything in it is just computer code interacting and following rules. Neo's Brain is able to process that code and thus allow himself to bend the Matrix to his will, it is also the reason he now sees everything in code when in the Matrix. This does not mean he is god like in the Matrix. Bend does not mean break after all. So Neo can just push the limits and make himself stronger and faster than everyone else, everything he has done in the movie is simply bending the rules.
BTW, there is a possible way to enter the Matrix without jacking in. Those who've seen the second movie can probably figure out how. Hint, deals with Neo.
The Rebel ships hack the Matrix all the time, it's how they are able to jack in. They aren't hardwired into the system after all. It's also how they arm themselves and even how they get some vehicles.
As for a Unit in the Matrix, it's possible if someone programs a sim of a Unit and downloads it into the Matrix but it would only exist in the Matrix and its abilities and effectiveness would be limited to the skills of the programmer who created it, which can be either human or an existing program entity. Agent Smith for example shows the A.I's have developed emotions so are not entirely logical and there are other A.I.'s who are on the human side, hoping for coexistence. Though it is questionable if a Matrix based Unit could free the mind of someone who is still part of the system as breaking control means the system sees them as a dead battery and chucks them into the sewers. Not a good idea unless you have a rebel ship ready to pick you up. Unless the program is made to fool the system so then you could have a free mind that can remain in the system full time.
That aside, the Unit itself would be like an Agent, a living program so if merged with a human mind it can probably do everything a Guyver unit is suppose to do and make the human host powerful enough to deal with Matrix Agents but Neo could probably still beat it.
What happens to the body while a mind is plugged into the Matrix is simply a reaction to neural feed back. Mind and body are linked so the body can reflect what is happening to the mind but this does not at all mean you can pull something from the Matrix into the real world.
What happens in the Matrix is only information and information can't manifest itself in the physical world unless it manipulates something in the physical world. So outside of a hologram it would be impossible for something from the Matrix to manifest outside the Matrix unless it takes something over like someones body or a robot.
The only possible way a Unit can come out of the Matrix is if the code is advance enough to represent DNA, then the unit can be recreated in the real world.

You can't blame the Kregan for all strange accurances. They did not create the dimensional ripple...
And you should know by now our fics are not that simple.
-
It was a dimensional ripple, space time became fractured locally and anything within that space got duplicated in the same way parallel worlds are created. It's not cloning, quite simply they were suddenly just two identical beings were once there was only one. So both can claim to be the original.
Clarification, the dimensional tear sent Dreadnought crashing into hyperspace and nearly killed him before he wound up in Strange World, he did not go directly back to his home universe. Neither did the other W'Kar as he was sent to the WG2 Universe before finally arriving in the WG universe.
Zagam Vs. Dreadnought
in GWOTG Fan Fiction
Posted
This was noted in a previous topic, and should come at no surprise that beings close to Dreadnought's own power can resist the process. None of his abilities are without limits after all. Zagam is beyond Dreadnought's power so would have to be tricked into allowing fusion for that idea to work, which is not even remotely likely.
