#Guyver (fanmade) game project~!!!! [PC]
H222G981 replied to G'-illusion Studio's topic in LET'S CREATING!
You've come really far and it's impressive work, G'-illusion Studio. However and this just me personally. It would be cool to see your Guyvers (it doesn't matter which one) slashing through hoards of NPC zoanoids in the streets and taking on a boss NPC like Aptom in his mixed form or a random hyper zoanoid. I know you have that one zoanoid in the above post and that was great and all. But do you have something like that available? Aside from all of that. You're doing a wonderful job and I can't wait to see the final product. -
Well. I haven't really stated much that has gone on with me in the blog at all. It's mostly been mixed on random things that doesn't really or fully pique anyone's interests. So as for me being a person. I went through some changes in life that I didn't expect. So I was married for 11 years and then suddenly separated and got a divorce. My ex wife comes home and asks for a divorce in August of 2019. I don't remember the exact day. I tried fixing the marriage for several months. We lived in the same apartment until October. But she mostly stayed with her sister. I moved in with my mother for 2 weeks until I could move across town to another apartment complex. I didn't see the kids very much in that time frame. Some small visits. I transferred the old apartment lease to my ex wife's name when I moved out. When I moved. My ex wife let me take most of the furniture because it was a gift from my mother and grandmother. She wasn't happy about it. I got a new car. My ex wife had wrecked the 2014 Rav when she hit a deer. I started getting the kids every other night. I filed for divorce in November. My ex wife never got a lawyer because she couldn't afford one. I made it 50/50 joint custody. My ex wife convinced me to file my taxes with her, which she took my half and blew it. The divorce was final in January the 22nd of 2020. She guilt tripped me into giving her money for 8 months. Even though she's the one who cheated on me multiple times. Before and after my divorce was finalized. I had jumped into a really toxic relationship with another woman for 3 months whom I broke up with. It didn't stop her from temporarily making my life a living hell. I decided to quit dating for 8 and half months and spent a majority of my time alone if it wasn't with the kids. I was depressed about the divorce and my ex wife had become a drug addict. She's still into meth. I got a home mortgage. So I moved out of my apartment in late October and paid the last 2 months rent on the lease. I've jumped into another relationship in early December. It hasn't been toxic and I've been with my current girlfriend for almost 4 months. We get along better then me or my ex wife ever did and my kids really like her. That about sums it all up. Other than that I've been buying a lot of anime on Amazon, Ebay, and Wal-Mart.com. I've been getting them on Blu Ray formant. I hate streaming. The reason why I'm buying a lot of it is because early in my marriage. My ex wife pretty much convinced me to sell my anime dvd sets. I didn't make a whole lot of money back then, me being in my early 20's. So I felt obligated to help financially. I remember I got 400 for all of it. I had a lot on dvd. So most of what I'm buying now is replacements for what I gave up 11 years ago out of loyalty to someone who didn't deserve it. No she didn't hold a gun to my head and make me do it. But she did have a way of getting me to do things for her. What did I buy on Blu Ray? Guyver: Bioboosted Armor Hellsing Ultimate All 3 current seasons of Attack on Titan The Big O The First 2 seasons of Ghost In The Shell, the movies, and ARISE Akira Claymore One Punch Man: Seasons 1 - 2 I think I'm off to a great start. Anyways. Things are going great for me. I'm in a much happier place now. I have a girlfriend who shares a lot of the same interests as I do. She's really the one who inspired me to get back into anime again and to get out of my depression. I ordered a few things for her too. While I was waiting for it to hit my doorstep. We went out of town for 3 days with the kids several weeks ago. We went to a town in Missouri that had rides and amusement parks. But didn't get to do much because everywhere was packed. My mom and grandma said we picked a busy time to go. It went pretty good. I mainly bought a lot of stuff for my daughter because she's turning 11 years old on April 13th. It falls on a Tuesday of next week. Me and my girlfriend ordered everything off of Amazon from my daughters list that she made. It sure brings back memories. I do believe I'm getting old.

Alucard vs Walter

Loki will outsmart the Time Keepers. If Odin couldn't keep him locked up then they likely can't. He's a great escape artist for one. He's also pretty good at finding weakness's in his enemies to take advantage of. That's one of his core strengths. He's smart and he learns quick.
-
I used to think he was the enemy. Because he made Chronos and had a lot of people processed into zoanoids because that's how the Creators made him. However, he seems to be aware that there's a coup to have him killed by his own zoalords. He made Murakami into a glorified body guard after he died. And in one of the last manga issues. We see Archanfel hanging out with Mizuki and Tetsuru playing video games and chilling in a house on Silha. He also doesn't intervene between the fight with Apollon. So does this mean he's siding with Sho for the time being?

I watched it. It was okay. I felt the last Godzilla film was better because it had more action and was more entertaining. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm all for action though. I love to see tons of action. I felt there was too much dialogue, I felt I just saw the human protagonists of the film chatting it up too much, I didn't care about them, and not enough action throughout the entire movie. Some of the ideas for pitting Kong against Godzilla as natural enemies was pretty clever and creative. The only action you see is in the last 35 minutes of the film itself which was disappointing to me. Mecha Godzilla was cool, he reminded me of The Terminator with the glowing red eyes for some reason. I do hope a film is made. But I do hope it's based more on action then on dialogue and less focus on the plotline. There were Godzilla films based on just Godzilla and some other titans just bashing each other around.

I guess that's good news. I've been wanting to see this movie. But what I'm really thinking is that's too bad. People have been waiting forever and I mean as early as December of 2019. That's over a year and 5 months going now. That's almost 2 years we've waited on this damn movie. That's how long they've been advertising this movie and it's silly. With the effects of the pandemic and everything. At this point, and no offense to anyone, I find it irritating that they keep releasing trailers on a movie that's long long over due. I'm hoping they'll release it at the date. But it's gotten to the point, like with Guyver's 5 year hiatus, that I've moved on from a film that they won't even release.

I do believe that your doubts are correct. The Creators never called him a god. He came up with that definition on his own and has been loosely referring to himself as a deity. He created religion. Zoanoids built a temple around him and worshipped him on his island while he slept. He called his corporation Chronos. Perhaps this delusion comes from the fact that he was created to be dominant and controlling of the zoanoids. He may once had been very powerful so long ago. However, whatever weapon the creators used on him, before they threw a comet at him and Earth, weakened him greatly and he's never fully healed since. He's constantly using his optimization pod on his island gathering energy and hibernating. He's millions of years old. He destroyed a comet, He can teleport out of a black hole, He can swat aside a mega smasher, he can create other zoalords on his island as well as heal them. However, his powers come at a cost. When he healed Murakami, he went into hibernation. Even if he did fight another being. He'd have to finish them quickly. The manga has shown that his powers are not infinite.

True that. It has been a fun ride. I really liked the first 2 seasons and then it seems with the 3rd season, all the action slowed down. But like you said, it's stayed true to the manga for the most part. I recently ended up ordering all 3 seasons on Amazon. I have no clue why they cut the 3rd season into 2 parts. I'm hoping when the release the final season, it won't come out in parts.

It looks interesting. I hope there's less dialogue and tons of action scenes in this movie.

What does everyone think of the new MechaGodzilla? It's going to be playing a part in the new movie. I don't know how much involvement it will have. But it seems it's going to be joining in on the fight.

I've wondered about that myself. But my real question is seeing as the OVA was in 89. Was the manga that far into the story about Aptom eating them?
-
I loved it. I really liked Ben Affleck's Batman and Superman in it. I really hope he comes back and reprises his role for the next film. If there is one. I respectfully disagree. I'd probably like her and the character she portrays better if Warner Bros and herself wasn't using WW as an advocate for gun control/ reform. I'm a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment and I believe guns save just as many lives as they take.

Scarlett Johansson as Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)
H222G981 replied to ./Anonymous's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Here's a clip from that particular episode from the second season. The little girl next to the boy is Motoko. Although it doesn't show what she looked like before she got her prosthetic/ cybernetic body. -
Scarlett Johansson as Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)
H222G981 replied to ./Anonymous's topic in Japanese Entertainment
The movie did take place in Japan. However, in the Ghost in the Shell anime series, Motoko didn't have an origin story at all. In the 2017 film that we're talking about, they did acknowledge that Motoko's original body that of a teenage Japanese girl portrayed by Kaori Yamamoto, who had run away from home. Btw if you haven't noticed, they basically made her out to be a 17 year old run away in the film which was total bullsh*t. The film shows that she was then kidnapped with her boyfriend and some other teenagers, they took her brain, wiped her memory, and she woke believing that she was a weapon. BUT, then they turned around and gave her a full prosthetic body of a White/ Caucasian woman in her late 30's. None of which makes any sense at all. Because The Major wasn't so young in the anime. Motoko Kusanagi is 47 years old. She lost her body in an airline incident when she was barely 7 years old. -
LMAO. That's laughably bad. My first thoughts were that a Youtuber did it as a joke to make fun of it. Having looked it up now. Animax are the one's that badly dubbed it. So ADV reviewed this anime and had it redubbed and re-released back in 2005. I still think it's hilarious how they took it and goofed up the English dub on it.

Yes. I think he and Panadyn were his hench men. Until Sho killed them in self defense. I think so. That would probably explain why Guyot overestimated Zerbebuth so much. Guyot said that Hyper Zoanoids were a new thing in episode 4 of the 2005 anime when he was bragging about Zerbebuth. No. The Hyper Team 5 worked specifically for Dr. Barcas at Relic's Point.

I'm not saying this as a fan boy. I'm really not. There's a lot of anime protagonists and antagonists who could turn Guyver 1 into a carpet stain BUT. Sho Fukamachi would win because of how LUCKY he is. You have to admit it. For a 15 year old boy starting out in the beginning. He has had LUCK on his side. He was lucky to find that unit and he's been lucky ever since. And if I remember correctly; before Sho and Tetsuo activated the unit. Sho could barely put up a fight to anyone. If you think about it really hard. You should compare Sho to King from One Punch Man. Sho has ridiculous amounts of luck both good and bad. He's had his control medal ripped out only for the end result to be the same. He's been winning against Chronos from the very beginning. He didn't even have to try to upgrade his unit into a gigantic. He even got lucky twice against Aptom who was about to waste him both times. First time Murakami interferes. Second time Sho miraculously opens the mega smasher. Sho has either A.) Miraculously won every fight he's been in with the guyver or B.) has gotten out of the fight and someone else kills his enemies. Sho also seems to be able to bring people together. Aptom took care of the Hyper Zoanoid Team 5. Sho got out of having to take care of them. Because if Aptom didn't eat them. Agito and Sho would have had to deal with that head ache. Aptom even proved that Sho, on his own and without the Exceed, would have had his ass handed to him if it weren't for Aptom having devoured the Hyper Team 5 just because he wanted the POWER to kill Sho and avenge his friends. And I'm pretty sure Sho would have had to dealt with the Hyper Team 5 before getting inside the Relic. But if Sho doesn't partake. It's normally Agito or Aptom doing the fighting. So either way, it's another loss for Chronos and another win for Sho. Not just that but when Archanfel blew up the Relic. He survived that too and became an EXCEED. So there's that. I'd say Sho is lucky. All I'm say really and my argument is this. Those robots that would be pitted against Sho would lose. Sho Fukamachi would win because of his good luck. Just a thought. Who knows really. They're different characters from different franchises.

I have it on Blu Ray and they do use language. But the blood is sometimes shaded out in the animation. Then you have some episodes where there's a lot of blood. But I wouldn't go so far to say that it's bloodier. There's anime that I've watched that was more violent. I felt Claymore and Hellsing Ultimate were more violent than the 2005 anime was.

This is what I got.

Yeah. If I got a PS5. I'd get one to play the next chapter of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. I played the one on PS4 that released last year and it was amazing. I maxed everyone out and just had a good time. I'm hoping over all though that they'll have some really heavy hits coming out on the PS5. They have some games that I'm interested in for this console.

Scarlett Johansson as Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)
H222G981 replied to ./Anonymous's topic in Japanese Entertainment
It does actually. Because Public Security Section 9 is set in Japan and is a team that stops terrorists. Motoko Kusanagi is the main protagonist of the series. Just like how Sho Fukamachi is the main protagonist of The Guyver. Other than that. I agree with the rest of what you've explained in your above post and how pleasing an audience of people loyal to the manga and anime can be very difficult. I however do think if they had just done what was requested. The movie might have had a fighting chance. Instead they did what they wanted. -
Zerbebuth was really highly spoken of by Guyot in the 2005 anime. I wonder why it's type was given so much praise. Zxtole was so much better in terms of raw power.
