Rest assured, however, I have not forgotten about it, and will continue to work on it whenever I can. Now just imagine Chronos troops in place of the apes, Dr. Balcus instead of Dr. Zaius, and Deadpool as Taylor, and...well I think you get the idea

X-Day in the Marvel Universe -- let's just say it could go either way. As for Agito, well...I just have no love for the guy, at all. Plus, I just thought it'd be cool to see the Sentry take a shot from a mega-smasher at point blank range, and not even flinch.

Don't worry Toku Warrior, there's definitely gonna be more of Val and Wade to go around ;D As for Sentry vs. Archanfel, well -- let's just say you better have insurance adjusters handy. To quote Tony Stark, "Oh, it's good to be back!"

HEY EVERYONE!!! Yeah, I know, it's been a loooooong time since I've posted...and I'm sure a lot of you have been a teensy bit worried, but I've FINALLY gotten some new chapters in! GUYVERMARVEL18.doc Ch. 54 -- The New Avengers meet up with the Mighty Avengers, who reveal a startling secret about the Rift. Ch. 55 -- Agito vs. the Dark Avengers! With no new Guyver chapters for a while, it's time to get the dust off and get rolling again! EDIT: Keep in mind, I first started writing this during Dark Reign, which is why Osborn's still got "official" control of the Avengers in this story, FYI.

A nut and a fool!

Actually, it's been a number of things. After graduating from grad school, I've been busy with a part-time job and an internship, plus I've been looking for full-time work too. I've been meaning to get back on the wagon, but I've been coping with writer's block too. However, I've been planning on upping the stakes a bit, bringing in Hank Pym's Mighty Avengers, and possibly A.R.M.O.R., the X-Men, and a number of others. I haven't forgotten...life's been happening.

Hey everyone. Sorry about the gap between posts, but between academia and other factors calling my attention, I haven't had a chance to work on my Guyver/Marvel fanfic. So, until the semester's finished, the story's gonna be on hiatus for a while, probably until around mid-December. Sorry for this little snag, everyone. Personally, when my assignments are out of the way, I'll be a little relieved.

Reading this, it got me thinking of this, starting at 1:14: ...and ending somewhere around 1:42. Here's my line of thought...to Chronos, humanity's nothing but a machine, made to serve it's own twisted purpose. Emotions, imagination, independent thought...they seem to view these are as random factors in an otherwise fixed equation. And through their machinations, they're trying to wipe out what makes human beings unique from each other. Human beings are more than just tools...MUCH more. They're not something you can just program and expect to do what someone else wants. They live, they think, they hurt...they FEEL. And that's what humanity's all about.

I'm with Ryuki on all points. Besides, there's another point to consider. If human beings were made just to be weapons, then why were we given the ability to think? How does independent thought factor into all of this? These are some burning questions that need some serious consideration.

Archanfel vs. Magneto? Well, not exactly TW. I can guarantee this, however...once Sho and his allies find Archy, it's gonna be all-out war

Thanks, LordSpleach. Like I mentioned in the beginning, different universes mean different rules. So, whatever works in the Guyver-verse may not necessarily work the same way in the Marvel Universe. I can safely say that this is one plot point I'll be having a lot of fun with. And yeah, I just had to put in a MacGyver joke somewhere in all this

So, here's the breakdown, thus far... Ch. 51 -- The Hood introduces Agito to his "associate" -- Norman Osborn! (dun dun dun...) Ch. 52 -- The effects of the battle with Sho and Earth's heroes has caught up to Archanfel, and without the Isle of Silha to rejuvenate him, it looks like the zoalord supreme may be finished...or is he? Ch. 53 -- Sho's friends learn that they're about to pay a visit to the HQ of Marvel's First Family... More will be on the way soon, but I just want to let everyone know that this is still alive!
