I'm with Ryuki on all points. Besides, there's another point to consider. If human beings were made just to be weapons, then why were we given the ability to think? How does independent thought factor into all of this? These are some burning questions that need some serious consideration.

Thanks, LordSpleach. Like I mentioned in the beginning, different universes mean different rules. So, whatever works in the Guyver-verse may not necessarily work the same way in the Marvel Universe. I can safely say that this is one plot point I'll be having a lot of fun with. And yeah, I just had to put in a MacGyver joke somewhere in all this

Ch. 52 -- The effects of the battle with Sho and Earth's heroes has caught up to Archanfel, and without the Isle of Silha to rejuvenate him, it looks like the zoalord supreme may be finished...or is he? Ch. 53 -- Sho's friends learn that they're about to pay a visit to the HQ of Marvel's First Family... More will be on the way soon, but I just want to let everyone know that this is still alive!

GAH -- where have I been all this time? Yeah, I know it's been at least two months since I last updated, but I haven't been avoiding it. Just been coping with a case of writer's block, plus I've had some interesting things happen this summer. I am trying to get the ball rolling on this again, and I hope to have some new chapters in soon. I'm also planning on bringing in some more characters into the mix (i.e. Osborn's Dark Avengers, Shizu, Dr. Hekkaring, Nick Fury's Secret Warriors, and the Howling Commandos) and so on. In addition, I'm thinking of having cameos by various Marvel characters, mainly dealing with the ramifications of Archanfel being released from the rift. Storywise, I'm still planning to do the whole Savage Land battle -- which I guarantee is going to be huge. Actually what's gonna lead up to it will be pretty big, but this is going to be the apex. So yes, I am still alive. I haven't been ignoring this.

NOTE: I'd written Chapter 49 before MJ's death, and when the news came around, I made some modifications, but kept in some of the dialogue referring to Archanfel as "Michael Jackson-guy", mainly because Archy (in his suit) resembles Jackson in "Smooth Criminal." No disrespect to the King of Pop, just so you know.

I'm asking since I plan on setting up an action sequence in the Savage Land, which is very similar to the Isle.

Hey everyone... I'm in the process of grinding out the next set of chapters, but I'm curious...what have been your favorite parts of the story so far? I thought I'd ask since it'd give me a better idea of what to put together for this story as it goes on.
