I stand with Ian Malcolm on this. Just because we can do something doesn't mean we should. Sometimes things are best left alone and untouched by human hands.

Okay, so I grew up with the good old fashion minimizing apps taking you back to the desktop and using the start menu and all of that. Well ever since I got my new laptop with Windows 8.1 on it, that's all changed and out the window. Microsoft has completely done away with the start menu and the minimizing of your app/game/int window or w.e takes you all the way back to the start menu page which is so frustrating, infuriating and does nothing but causes more work! UGH!!! I've been dealing with it for six months now and I've had it! It was better the old way, why did they HAVE to make us use this new system? IT SUCKS! The old way was much faster, much better and far more convenient and easier to use. This new method that they think is so superior and better is complete crap, and the fact that they're making us/forcing us to use it when nobody wants to is complete crap. Just curious does anyone know of a way of how to bring the old minimizing back to desktop rather than startup menu back? Or would I have to go back to windows 7? I'm seriously considering it, this is total crap and not better than 7 at all in anyway shape or form.

Yeah, seriously doubt there will ever be a season 2, not until the manga is completed anyways. Just another season 1 reboot. Which sucks because I thought the 05 version was awesome. Loved the filler episodes and all the new fights. Would of loved for them to continue on from there but seriously doubt they will.

Coke all the way. Always been a loyal coke fan. I went from normal coke, to vanilla coke when they brought that back in the early 2000's. Then switched from vanilla coke to cherry, can never have enough of that lol! I drink it a lot. Always love coke. Now I like to mix cherry coke with sparking red grape juice. It's delicious! And like McTaco said, Mexican (or rather traditional) coke is the absolute best! Nothing like popping open a 50's bottle of coke and drinking it. I'll drink either but I'll take a coke any day over pepsi.

I can't stand the new Frieza voice myself, it's horrible imo. I may be biased but to me it's not Frieza, and it's really weird. I really liked the old Funi voice for Frieza, the same voice actor who did Genki in Yu Yu Hakusho. To me, it showed more of a sinister side of Frieza. The evil tyrant and power was hidden behind the voice. It also made him more alien like and "different" with a male body but older female voice. I dunno. I don't like ANYTHING about or from Kai. I kind of hate it with a passion.

Ok then, I guess right after Guyot escapes from the mansion battle is where I am at...

Ya, really the last thing I remember seeing was Barcas bowing to Archanfel at the Island, and begging for his forgiveness claiming he had to do something, then Archanfel woke up and was angry saying "No!". I remember Guyot's attack on the mansion, Grisleda almost dying nearly being killed by G II F, Agito surrending to Sho and Aptom fighting the Libertus. But if my memory serves me right, that all happened prior to Barcas going to the Island Silha.

Ok guys, I haven't read anything in nearly two-three years now, and before I make a pledge/pre-order and want not, I was wondering where I need to pick up at in the books. The last thing I remember when I left off, was Agito and Sho finished their fight, Aptom was fighting some Libertus, and Griselda was nearly killed by Guyver II F and Guyot. Some flashbacks with Risker/Lisker and Archanfel woke up and was pretty ticked. So, where should I pick up the manga again? I imagine I've missed quite a lot.

Here's another comparison, one of the most intense movements in all of DBZ history, and people would have me believe that Faulconer's is horrible while Kai's is brilliant? Just watch both of these clips and tell me which one you think captures the emotional intensity the most. Kai Original

Ok, I grew up in the 90's with the Ocean dub of DBZ first then the funi version. I grew up with Faulconer's scores and I really love them, always did. There were just certain scores that would play and you would know things were about to go down. It really captured the intensity of fights and the moments and I just don't understand why so many people dislike him. I mean there's the Ginyu Force theme, Ginyu's Transformation (the Death) theme, Pikkon's theme, Vegeta's theme, Piccolo's theme, Time Chamber theme and so many others. And yet, so many LOVE the Japanese OST which are truly aweful! I mean most Japanese OST's are incredible, Bleach's OST for example is one of my favorites, as well as Guyver: OVA's but DBZ's makes me gag. I mean how can you even compare these two? Faulconer's really plays up the moment, I just don't know why so many people hate it and love the others. I would love it if they had the option in the remastered edition to have Faulconer's music rather than just the original OST. As I'm sure you know there is a fundamental difference between criticizing someone and ranting/hating/berating people simply because you don't like them. I'm not saying that that's what these people in your situation have done, I don't know but I think the younger generation (my generation) has lost all sense of what it means to be a bigot and to simply criticize. This personally is one of my biggest issues with people in this day in age. People think that if you criticize anyone, then you must be doing it out of bigotry, intolerance, homophobia, or Islamophobia and so on. It's a technique used to shut people up, shut down the voice of opposition. It's scare tactics. It's one thing I can't stand. No one is above the notion of being criticized, no one. I don't care if you're gay or not, or what religion you are or w.e Everyone is up for criticism. And I'll do it if I think it's appropriate. However, I think a lot of it has to do with how my generation was raised. We were bombarded with messages, and propaganda, in cartoons and movies full of political correctness. With overcoming obstacles, the value of friendship, lessons from discrimination and not to do it, sharing with others, helping others, saving the forest from deforestation and accepting all among many other such messages. And while those are good messages there is one in particular that was left out. And that is: that it's okay to disagree. My generation freaks out if people don't agree with each other, and semi-panic. If you merely don't agree with the p.c. system then you are ex-communicated. You are a bigot. An intolerant radical extremist and so on. People need to learn the value of agreeing to disagree. I also don't think you have to have a piece of paper to really show the worth of you're own research. I happen to study a lot in these five major categories: History of the Crusades, Religious groups (primarily Mormonism and Islam), all forms of sexuality (sexual practices, fetishes, genders etc), and evolution. Now, I may not have a PhD in any of these fields, nor am I a complete and total expert in them. However, I have years of study in these areas, and know quite a bit of information regarding them. So much so, I am confident to hold my position in a debate or to correct someone if they are wrong. All that really matters is the time and energy you put forth in studying, and that's what I really do virtually all the time now. So if an elder person has spent a lifetime doing that, they may know a wealth of information regarding a particular topic of interest to them. I usually generate and flock to the older people because of this. Plus I was bullied a lot when I was a child and was ostracized. I became extremely introverted and would eat in the classroom alone with my teachers rather than in the lunchroom. Talking about things and learning. And so on. Ultimately, I see your point and agree with the notion. This is why I try to only debate people that I assume can agree to disagree without compromising the friendship. Just remember there is a huge difference between bigotry and criticism.

I seriously don't believe there is this alleged wide spread sexism and misogyny in the gaming world that she proclaims there is. I have a lot of problems with Anita, not because I play games (I hardly ever do) but because she says things like (paraphrasing here) "people who play games are reinforcing gender inequality." or "If you don't play games and do nothing about it you are a part of the problem." She took down her comment threads so no one can challenge her videos or posts. There is a huge difference between literary work and sexism. There are three different story types: man vs man, man vs nature and man vs God. There's also the revenge story, the damsel in distress story, and the lost artifact story. These stories are a success not because they are "oppressing women" but because they sell. These businesses and gaming companies are not out to harm women but to make a profit. They sell what they know works. Not to mention, Anita misrepresents those who call her out on her B.S. as slanderers. It's funny because she get's all upset when video games portray women as delicate little damsels in distress, and when people call her out, she acts like an innocent little butterfly that needs help and rescue from the feminine men. Don't get me wrong, I don't "hate" this person, though I have a big problem with the things she says and claims because 1. It's not true. 2. She's misrepresenting facts and statistics, 3. Is trying to censoring free speech (they're games and stories made up not real people) 4. Down right lies. I'm not apart of the whole controversy of games, like I said, I don't really play them. However, when people make claims that she does, that you're virtually saying "If you're not with me you're oppressing me!" Then ya, I'm going to have a problem. I recommend checking out this video.

Well, I don't really know the PR world all that much. I only saw the MMPR (which I loved back in the 90's) and some Lost Galaxy or whatever it was called. But I don't know if all the Power Rangers are apart of the same storyline, universe etc. I thought they were just like reboots of the old one. I really didn't understand the whole Empires at War, who was fighting against what? I didn't understand that. I thought it was all fan made but I guess not. I didn't like the real guns, was hoping to see more of the Rangers powers and weapons not the futuristic M60's. I also was hoping to see more zord action a bit of a let down but understandable. I thought the action was pretty good, liked the plot twist at the end, and all that other stuff. Seeing how being a Ranger and fighting evil, demons, monsters and witches affected them later in life. But like I said, I didn't really understand or get the whole Empires fighting each other. I was really lost with that. I just thought Lord Zedd, Rita and so on where the main villains and all the other series were basically reboots of that. New villains but were basically the same thing. I dunno anyways, thought it was very creative and well shot.

I'm a huge Underworld fanatic! I am REALLY looking forward to this. It's funny, my friend and I just had an Underworld marathon, because his GF had never seen it.

I too have been in the receiving end of racism, and it's definitely a horrible feeling. I've lived all over the U.S. and had the privilege to see and meet various people and cultures. One thing that bothered me about my many experiences of being victimized was that the perps knew that I couldn't do or say anything because if I did, I would be the one seen as a racist. Much like how some females (not all) take advantage of the whole "you can't hit me, if you do I'll play the victim card and get you arrested" and provoke guys to a whole new level. I'm not entirely sure if it's a racist thing though Salkafar. I saw that bit a long time ago, and I wasn't thinking that nobody didn't want to be him because he was black, but that nobody would want to have to go through the same hardships and economical challenges he still has to fight within the system.

lol You're one of the few people I actually enjoy discussing things with Ryuki! But here's an update on things and I'm not sure how to handle this. Like I mentioned above, some random person I don't even know, scrolled through my fb page (I didn't know it was open to public view) and screenshot a status of mine and posted it in the debate and proceeded to make fun of me. I reported it to FB as this really bothered me, but their system has no actual customer service or anything. Just a report feature and an auto response I guess. Well, they found nothing wrong with what the guy did, but I don't see how. That's my own personal stuff.I had to go back and reset all of my things. I don't know what to do now, and I really want that pic of me taking down. I don't get the report feature of FB. I mean, people report things all the time and it seems like they always get those things taken down, but any time I report something that seems like a legitimate issue, it's ignored. Does anyone know of any other way to go about this? Maybe call the authorities or something? I don't know, but like I said, this really upset me and bothered me, that a complete stranger would do that to me.

Why do people suck so much at debating? I've learned to keep my mouth shut most of the time because people will attack you with an indignation and malice it's unreal! I mean, it's gotten to a point to where I can't even agree to disagree respectively, without people trying to make false accusations against me, borderline slander me, call me the worst names in the book and so on. When all I did was disagree. So I stopped engaging in debates for a long time, all it would turn into a name calling contest. However, recently many people have been posting things on my fb regarding how horrible a political party is. Today, I finally had it. Some of my fb friends were bashing one party while claiming there's to be perfect little intelligent enlightened angels. I am apart of neither party, and presented the idea that both might be biased and corrupt. I don't believe in the two party system, because in the end, you still end up with crap. Well, as you can imagine, that created a fire storm. I had four or five guys commenting on me, making fun of me, trolling me, accusing me of things and so on. I attempted to actually have a rational debate with them but this is how it went (and how it usually goes for me). I made a claim, and they wanted evidence to back up the claim. I made a slight correction in the claim as it was a generalization, and posted a video uploaded to YouTube as a quick and easy source for all. Immediately, I have them all over me, and the source is considered unacceptable to them. Well, I pointed out that if it was a video advocating their position it would be acceptable to them. They then proceeded to say "Yeah, because it's right". (I'm generalizing and paraphrasing here but that's pretty much what they said). So I then, provided 5 different internet sources, including several from pew research. Well, again those were dismissed because they didn't like the source, and didn't supply any reason or counter argument, just a "You're stupid, learn to debate, those sources are drenn!". Well, I then asked for a rebuttal, or for a counter argument and would be open to it. Got nothing, but more accusations, bullying and so on. I then provided two more sources, and the behavior continued. Till I finally gave up. They did nothing! They made fun of me, acted as if they were the most intelligent specimen in the planet, the greatest product of evolution. I mean, these guys even went into my FB page, and hunted down statuses from a year ago, copied it and printed it on the status, and made fun of me for my status! These guys were like 38-60 too! I couldn't believe it! I don't know. This is why I don't like debating with people that much; at least not my inferiors. I enjoy good debates, or conversations to expand my knowledge. Older people than me who have a lot to share. I like to see things from different perspectives and learn new point of views. I like people who can treat me like a human being and agree to disagree. But this...this whole "I'm right you're wrong, because I say so" crap. IT's getting out of hand. The worst part, is they accused me of not knowing how to debate, when I was the one providing all the sources, and info and they just dismissed it because it was convenient!

I appreciate the advice and stuff, but when it comes to software programming and everything, I really have no idea about any of that stuff.
