  1. Okay, so I am an absolute extreme die hard Aliens fan, (probably more so of an Aliens fan than I am a Guyver fan) and personally I am so sick of so many corporations ruining the Aliens Legacy. The whole backtracking and redoing things that contradict the already established material is a huge pet peeve of mine. For instance, the whole predalien Queen hybrid in AvP:R in 2007 has since then and continues to drive me nuts! And how people are expanding on that instead of correcting it drives me even more bonkers. I'm so sick of seeing people just ruining something so special and important like this just for $$$. I wish I had a position of power over the board of directors or something, so I could slap down these stupid ideas that basically slap fans in the face. Okay, sorry for the rant, but felt like I needed to get that out there. I love the Aliens universe, and want more material but done the right way. I would love to get a hold of Fox and try to persuade them to make a TV series about an Aliens Apocalypse like the Walking Dead. A fan thing I know right? But how cool would that be! Instead of messing around with the film characters or already established material start new with completely unrelated characters. A TV series of course because you can continue to expand on that and produce more material than just one 2 hour long film, and be cheaper on budgets. Plot could be post-apocalypse so we could finally see the nightmare and terror that Ripley was so scared of and tried to prevent. Here's the idea: It's sometime between the events of Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection. It's on a new planet but an exotic luxurious touristic planet, much like Hawaii or Jamaica. It would of been one of the first ten planets colonized because earth had gotten too overpopulated and because it was such a beautiful and exotic planet millions upon millions of people moved to it, (that way there would be millions upon millions of aliens on the planet rather than just the 147 that were on Hadley's Hope due to it being a relatively new colony). The show would start post-apocalypse and the world would all but be destroyed. People formed into groups and were fighting over resources etc. Aliens would be running amok in the millions and we could see new variations of them because of the other creatures on the planet. We could see remnants of the Colonial Marines had been sent but had been overwhelmed and wiped out as well as the Colonial Army. No word, on when reinforcements would return. Throughout the progress of the show we could meet new characters, maybe some Marine or Army survivors holding out that join the group. But the overall objective of the show would be to get off the planet as it has become too overrun and therefore could not be saved. Haha, yeah if only right? Sorry for the random stuff but I think it would be cool to see a TV show like that. Anyways, there is a high demand for Aliens material, people want to see more aliens stuff, that's obvious with Prometheus, Aliens: Colonial Marines and Aliens: Isolation. I just hope FOX and others don't screw it up anymore or backtrack.

  14. Sorry for being mia I've been fighting a really bad cold but starting to feel better. Anyways, yes I acknowledged that religions have caused wars in the past, only one continues to do so today that I am aware of, if you know of any others please feel free to share. However, comparatively, wars that have been caused by religions are not as high as wars caused by debt aka money. Religions will continue to cause wars? Again only one (as far as I know) continues to act in the medieval mind set. Most have been moderated to be understood and taught in modern times. So I again disagree with you on that statement. Most of the evidence points to religions losing more and more power and becoming more and more private. Only when you are faced with conversion or death, would something like a war be started by it in modern times. Money is not the root cause for every single conflict, however, money comparatively is the highest cause of conflict. Throughout human history wars have been started to gain wealth, prestige, money, land, territory and to erase debts. The Babylonians destroyed Israel and captured all of their gold and wealth, why? Because they had accumulated the most amount of wealth and gold in that region at that time. The Median-Persian's started up their empire and started borrowing money from the Babylonians, but they had to pay it back with interest, well after so long they couldn't pay back their debt, so they started a war and took all the wealth and erased their debts. Same thing happened with the Greek's and later on with the Romans. This is just a tid bit example of many more that could be stated. You had WWII after the Great Depression, the Blood Diamonds situation and so many other conflicts that have been started over wealth. For crying out loud, people even accuse George Bush for invading the Middle East for oil which equates to Wealth and money. So YES I stand by my statement. Most conflicts are started over debts and money. Not all of course, but comparatively most. Issues will always exist, because their are differences in the human race. Religion is simply one and an easy one to pick out. But it's by no means limited to that. You have ethnic problems, social status problem, gang problems, sports problems anything that divides a group of people than their will be some form of conflict. I know freedom of speech is not freedom of criticism but I will say here in the states it's the Dem's who are WAY more vocal than the Rep's. Both are equally ignorant and both are exceptionally bigoted. You know how much hatred you get for simply saying I am not for gay marriage? Death threats and all kinds of stuff! It's ridiculous. The same goes for dressing up in my taste and style, makes me a "devil worshiper" so yes. Both parties discriminate are both very hateful because both use complete and total absolutes. You don't see it their way or agree with them, then you are the bigot. Both parties have this mentality and both are completely juvenile. But again, conflict is apart of human nature. Even if religion was magically done away with, it wouldn't change anything really, not here in the States at least. We would still have conflict over politics, poor/rich, government vs people, cops vs families all kinds of stuff. America right now is a boiling red hot pan.
  15. To say that all religions are apart of the cause is truly laughable and exceptionally bigoted. I understand and acknowledge that some religions do call for the exterminations of opposing forces, however there are plenty of nonreligious individuals who have butchered hundreds of millions of people and hundreds of wars that were caused for personal self-gain not simply for religious purposes. Also, the Rep and Dem's have every right to express their opinions and voice whatever they want regardless if they happen to be religious or not. Sorry, Matt but your comment was extremely offensive. I feel like you want all religious people exterminated or at least silenced forever. I know you didn't say that but I can't help but to feel that way. There are many problems that constitute a war, over population for one, lack of resources, lack of food or water, religious expansions, but the main reasons as Ryuki pointed out is money. The lust for wealth and power. So many wars have happened due to debts and a desire to erase debts. A desire to increase a nations wealth and prestige. We also have the human nature which also seems to be rather blood thirsty and enjoys violence. We all enjoy Guyver for instance, we enjoy action and bloodshed. The human element is of course beyond my own understanding, but it is non the less something that plays apart in war. If we truly want to due away with all wars, we have to due away with the desire of conflict and that is something each and every individual would have to deal with themselves.
  16. Yeah, the majority of the original warcraft lore was from RPG gaming, but a lot of it was changed for WoW. I agree with what you said and how you feel. Check out the third episode in the Racial Trivia series. Episode 3- The Green Dragonflight
  17. Yeah, I too am getting rather impatient and flustered with how long the story is dragging on, but even outside of the manga comics themselves, I don't see why they don't air the animes or anything, it's rather mind boggling to me. I mean, it's not like it's going to garner a follow unless they try to air it or something right?
  18. This may seem more like a rant or maybe a vent, but honestly, we all think about it. Why does Guyver not perform so well with producers or audiences? I mean it definitely has appeal. It has an amazing story, incredible battles/fight scenes, a complex plot, memorable characters, and has influenced scifi in many ways. It's sparked three versions of animes and two films. I just don't get it. Why so many people prefer things like fullmetal or some of this newer stuff that's coming out that I think is garbage. Even if Guyver didn't or doesn't get another chance of a remake or continuation it's still a great show that could be aired, I can guarantee it would gain a great fanbase if they gave it a shot. There was more I wanted to say, but I am sort of tired and can't remember, I'll post it when I do, in the mean time I would really like to hear more than just common sense sort of answers, like producers don't think it's worth it, or what not. That goes without saying, but I feel like people are looking for some sort of appeal or look or something, and they don't think Guyver can deliver...which makes no sense to me, because I can promise all of you, every single person I have ever shown Guyver to, told me they loved it not one person has ever told me they didn't like it.
  19. That's funny because in my fanfiction of Guyver I actually used that same exact concept. Only in my fanfiction Lisker doesn't survive and make it to the relic but Tetsuro picks up Guyver II's control metal after his death and gives it to Sho before entering the relic to return it to the ship. The ship then takes it from Sho imediately and repairs it. Of course, that's just a fanfiction but I really liked it and wanted to bring back my favorite Guyver. In my fanfiction I also have the Gigantic armor as it's own suit located in the relic, they were the creators battle armor not just space suits like the Guyvers or fusions of the spheres. Anyways, I just thought it was a bit neat to see others coming up with that same idea.
