I haven't played games consistently since 2007. In fact I don't even consider myself a gamer anymore. When I moved into the middle of no where there was literally no gaming stores to buy anywhere, it was almost a three hour drive to the nearest one. So I missed out on practically every major game that came out, except for the ones I pre-ordered way in advance, which was maybe two or three games. When my 360 was stolen, I went and bought a new one but never used it. I had no games for it and therefore no use for it. So I eventually gave it away. I haven't played games in nearly a decade and have turned more to my writing, reading and study of history. It makes me sad that I literally have no interest in playing games anymore, kind of like it was drained out of me while stuck in that place. Sucks right? One of the main reasons why I don't play games anymore though is because I refuse to upgrade to new consoles, it's pointless. I mean, the 360 was still a good system (as far as I remember) there's no need for the new upgrade. They upgrade so fast and it costs you an arm and a leg to get one. I just refuse to get them. Now I might get the game console after this generation or the generation after that. But personally I see it as nothing more than a scam to get your money. It really irks me that they make these things so fast, charge you a ridiculous amount of money, than the games themselves are super expensive. It won't surprise me in the least when they start charging games $100.00.
